STRENGTHS
  • Self-Defensive: The suits are very multi-purposed, designed to stop a variety of threats from being outright crippling or fatal. The multitude of layers make them far more durable than the typical article of clothing. In addition, it's designed to accommodate a combat vest replacing the normal one, allowing one's center mass to be better protected when needed.
  • Fashion-Forward: Intended to be worn often in public, the usage of fashion-friendly materials allow the suits to retain their beauty despite the measures taken to turn them into more protective attire.
  • Comfortable: With the usage of Enviroweave & Kaldrweave, it's easy to remain comfortable at nearly any temperature - not to mention the suits themselves are soft and easy to wear.
WEAKNESSES
  • Civilian-Grade: The suits are ultimately not designed with the intent of warfare. It's meant for bar fights, back alley brawls, and fending off ne'er do wells who wish harm upon you. It's unlikely the suit will be able to stop higher-caliber armaments without struggling, but it will limit a vast amount of potentially debilitating or fatal blows to bruises, cuts, or other more manageable injuries.
  • Lightsabers: While the suit can likely deflect or take glancing blows, a lightsaber will melt through the Armorweave-Norris Root exterior sooner or later - likely the former with a sustained assault. With a vest, it could perhaps take a bit more of a beating, but nonetheless be melted through eventually.
  • Missed a Spot: Given this is by no means a sealed suit, it is susceptible to all the threats that come with that. In addition, the vest only covers the torso, and thus secondary resistances do not apply to anywhere else.
DESCRIPTION
The switch from being the equivalent of a walking weapons platform, to a suited bartender was not a choice lightly made by Samuel. It was done only for the sake of Ela, who he felt needed the extra support in the somewhat taxing job. His first suit was just whatever he could find off the market, and to say the least, he felt like he was out of his own skin without the armor he usually wore. As such, he took to his workshop and the HoloNet to figure out a suitable substitution. This being, making the suit into an armor in itself.

Using a layered design, with a large part of the weavings done through droids rather than himself to ensure precision (and given the fact he hasn't worked much with cloth-like materials before then), he created the suits with the intent to deal with the variety of dangers previously encountered in his profession. At the same time, he had vague impressions of a bright future - working high-end bars, attending vistas. Living a normal life. They say that you have to dress for success, so he ensured to make something as stylish as it was protective.

The fact there was no shortage of dangers in his new profession as a bartender did not entirely surprise him, but the issue was that he had someone other than himself to worry about for once. As such, he created a matching set of the suit using schematics from the first - both prioritizing comfort and style a little more than protection than he would have liked. Despite this, they served as iconic looks for the bartenders as they tended the abhorrently violent cantina they worked at - some believed they were dyed red to cover up the bloodstains.
