SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Strong, durable protection against infantry, light artillery, or starfighter-based weaponry, it can even take a few hits from a frigate-sized vessel’s laser turrets.
  • Extremely lightweight material, easy to work with, and inexpensive to manufacture, this alloy is great for mass-producing starfighters or other small ships, and can even be used for personal armor for infantry troopers.
  • Ideally-suited to ships and powered armor where speed and agility are needed without sacrificing too much protection.
STRENGTHS
  • Lightweight, this alloy is well-suited to smaller-sized ships in need of strong protection even against heavy blasters and kinetic weapons without necessitating stronger engines or repulsorlifts to move about. Because of this, when used as thin plating on ships under 20m, those ships can retain speed and maneuverability just as before but take a lot more punishment.
  • Durable, this alloy provides excellent protection against small arms, crew-served weapons, light laser turrets, and against weapons systems like those commonly found on starfighters.
  • Adaptable, this alloy is easy to work with and can be shaped to fit numerous design configurations easily, making it an exceptional choice for after-market modifications or upgrades
WEAKNESSES
  • Not well-suited for use on larger ships, as the material integrity becomes weaker over large surfaces, requiring additional layering and thus negating the advantages of being lightweight or, after 20m, you begin to sacrifice maneuverability.
  • Not invincible, the alloy won’t sustain too many direct hits by heavy rockets and missiles, or a barrage by heavy auto-laser turrets or similar weapons. It just isn’t made to hold up against capital ship-level weapons, and while it is great against most infantry weapons or even lower-grade air defense artillery-type weapons, a few hits from a tank is still gonna hurt.
  • Offers no protection against EMP/Ion, Sonic, or Lightsaber attacks, as it was specifically designed for armor shielding to starfighters, troop transports, dropships, etc. and not for use in heavy tanks or other ground vehicles where these kinds of threats become much more common.
