Seethe Rested [ Sith and Allies ]

Location: Temple of Pain, Eternal Library.

The concept of time was lost to Nulgath as he delved deeper into his studies on the force and the nether plane. The Temple of pain was a love hate relationship. Knowledge oozed of every wall begging to be used and yet on the other end it was all too easy to find. There was no challenge in seeking, which was the negative in the Epicanthixs mind. Placing a tome back Nulgath began strolling down the halls of shelves examining each book. There was something he wanted to look into deeply, ability few attempted and few survive to control. Force-Walking.

Stopping by at the history section the Epicanthix shrugged to himself adjusting his black and silver armored robes. Reaching for the book Nulgath's eyes quickly absorbed the title " The Epic of Darth Nox". A sith who was the only known person to wield such an ability and showcase its to example. Taking the book back to his table Nulgath slowly began to read the story.

Hours and hours passed only to leave the Knight slightly disappointed with what he found. Nox's death was a mystery and worse was the fact that the ritual was considered very very risky. With no way to practice it in full. Gritting his teeth he closed the book and tossed it aside in frustration. This mattered greatly to him because it held the keys to greatness and power. " Blast!"

Still the old description of the Ritual made little sense to him.

"But ghosts may be bound and their strength borrowed, for a time.
You must pull on the tether that connects life and death.
You must learn to bind both sides of the force, life and death, in what is known as Force Walk." - Ergasts old saying floated about in his head as Nulgath calmed down.

There was much more to be done.

- Perhaphs im looking in the wrong place. The living is something i know but who can honestly say they know the realm of the dead.- he thought to himself as he looked around at all the collective knowledge around him. " Abyss, afterlife, the void, Netherealm... Death?" Nulgath recited familiar words to clear his mind thinking on each words specifcly looking for meaning. " Netherr..ealm." He paused slightly as an idea shifted in his mind. Eyes shifting about suggesting the start of an idea. " Nether..." the epicanthix smiled some what with his slight discovery. The nether portals were still around in the galaxy ever since the strange events that occurred.

Nulgath began to refresh his memory of what happened during those days. Was a strange time and most of his information of the topic came from anothers experience, [member="Kezeroth the Beholder"] 's. An old friend of the ages but seeking him out would be too risky for Nulgaths plans. It seemed majority of the members of One Sith were not taking to Nulgath exactly how he expected. Their loyalty to their idea of unity while still remaining to be sith was sicking and wrong. Tradition was forgotten and mocked.

The Libraries of knowledge were sanctuaries for the epicanthix. The Silence was truely golden as it made the knight feel closer to the true Sith of Old. There were few Nulgath saw as Sith within the Empire and for good reason, But the rest were mere pretenders. Dark Jedi that fancied themselves as Sith. Eyes shifted back and forth in suspicion of who was around him, it was considered a wisdom of a sort.

Location: Temple of Pain, Labs.

There were little people of importance around the eternal library and the plan to aquire greater knowledge was in order but the question remained, Was Nulgath ready with his current abilities? He was naturally talented in the force but he personally felt he needed to prepare himself more in order to survive the latter. The search of knowledge was never ending, This would be a trip that would last a eternity.. or at least it would feel that way.

" Csilla... " Nulgath muttered lowly before picking up his previous book. Placing it back on the shelf, Nulgath blinked looking at all the knowledge in the room. It was time to exercise and put it all to use on the unwilling. Like a spider crawling on its web so was Nulgath as he traveled through the temple to the Labs. The labs were empty with the exception of couple other acolytes dabbling with Sith Magic. They were so into their work they did not notice Nulgath enter and take up residence by some caged beasts and men.

" Ah yes. Its time for more.... Experiments!" he said aloud as he looked at a weak prisoner. Only a slight groan came from his mouth as the knight looked down at him. Extending both hands toward him, the epicanthixs eyes flashed with ill intent. A spark travelled between his hand before dissipating quickly. The prisoner twitched slightly at the sight gripping the bars of the cage that held him. Letting loose torrents of force lightning Nulgath smirked as the man screamed in pain. " Do not worry about the pain ill be brief. I am only here to better you..." he said as purple lightning crackled and flashed before him.

"Hmm." Nulgath began to experiment with force lightning moving the currents about with ease. His natural talents in the force and excessive studies in the area. The streams of energy began to break and separate into wracking energy binding the caged man up with lightning. His arms were spread apart, legs and lightning was wrapped around his torso. The electrocution seemed to not slowdown but spread out over his entire being where as before the lightning was connecting with his chest and spreading that way. " Interesting." Nulgath said to himself and noted his discovery. Ripping the lightning away Nulgath let the man rest physically. Probing his mind Nulgath smiled as he attempted to dominate his opponents mind. The man was already weak and accessing his mind was very easy but what the knight was attempting was slightly taxing.

The prisoner feel into a trance like state frozen unable to move. Qazoi Kyantuska. Nulgath was slowly straining to maintain the effects. The knights mind was the master and the prisoners body the puppet. Nulgaths thoughs were the commands to make the mans body move and it did. Realesing the prisoner from his hold Nulgath gripped his his own head as a headache began to form. " Aargh!" He groan because of how quickly the pain came to his head. Never the less he was satisfied with the results.

" I will be seeing you soon my friend. There is still more to unlock!"

..Several Hours later...

You would think one would eventually leave the Temple of Pain but if you thought that about Nulgath then you were mistaken very sorely. Walking the Halls of the temple the Sith knight pondered about the Nether realms and their ways. Slowly his thoughts began to shape a theory about how such a dreadful place could be used to his advantage. The realm of the dead it was commonly called and yet from the stories he heard about it..Also full of life. A visit was bound to happen in a point of time but not before other motions first.

Looking around the Temple Nulgath grew slightly annoyed once more. " This...Place.." he muttered to himself. It was a strike against everything Sith in his eyes and needed to be destroyed, Its secrets about the various force techniques and rituals needed to be scattered into the wind. Only the worthy deserved such powerful knowledge as was the old ways. Such an action would be a favor for everyone who considered themselves sith and not a pretender. The usefulness that the Temple of Pain was coming to and end and soon.

Taking a kneel by an old obelisk statue Nulgath began to meditate and as he did he began to see...

... A vision through the force of the past and future. A figure of power with a ghost like appearance, A brute of unparalleled power and an old enemy. The Vision was cryptic in every scene nothing was distinct and straight forward. If not for the extreme interest in the hidden nature, Nulgath would of exploded with anger due. In his mind he could see a battle unfold and at its center the Temple was. - What does this mean? Can it be taken literally?- He thought to himself as the images flashed in his head before his eyes.

More and more he took an interest in what he saw the faster it faded till finally it was gone and made no more. Opening his eyes Nulgath blinked hard and squinted at some Acolytes as they passed by him. The Acolytes looked away from his gazed only to chatter amongst themselves mocking the Knights devotion to study of knowledge instead of study of the blade. They would learn one day, Oh they would learn.
