Walk with the Seekers.
Walk with the Truth.
The Seekers of the Rift (colloquially known as "Riftseekers" or "Seekers") do not view themselves in the same fashion as established "force orders." They do not see the Force as some nameless entity with two warring halves; nor do they view it as a simple tool. To the eyes of a Seeker, the Force carries a name and is the literal creator of all things. Born within the bosom of Primeval society, this unique sect identifies the deity Sargon as the Force itself. He, the beginning of existence itself, shared his power with a select few upon coming into being.

First were his Aspects. Next were the Favored.

Over the course of eons, those bestowed with the power of Sargon blindly wielded their gifts. They carved out sects that hailed the Light and Dark, yet paid no mind to the Truth. Yet the Galaxy's ignorance would not continue for eternity, for the Four Hundred Year Darkness heralded the beginning of the Primeval. With their rise did the Seekers of the Rift come to be. United by their common reverence of Sargon and his Aspects, they began to fulfill what they interpreted to be the Will of their sovereign deity: opening the eyes of the Blind.

Structure: The Circles

As with all matters of man, differences in interpretation begot distinct circles. In particular, there exist three circles within the Seekers: the Riftborne, the Riftwalkers, and the Riftsingers. Each goes about their mission in a completely different manner. The Riftborne are easily the most warlike of the three and greatly identify with the Balagoth, the Aspect of Death. In their eyes, bringing Truth to the Blind can only be accomplished through the shedding of blood and utter conquest. They are often hailed as zealots and can most commonly be seen working in tandem with the Primeval's militant efforts.

On the other hand, the Riftsingers believe in spreading Truth through Enlightenment. Closely identifying with Nogras, the Aspect of Light, these individuals elect to fulfill the Will of Sargon through more tame means. At times, this means the construction of education centers or conducting evangelism by winning the hearts of the masses. Riftsingers are often hailed as the most tame of the three circles; and are most commonly seen spreading the Truth through humanitarian or other such means.

Lastly, the Riftwalkers are considered more conservative than the zealous Riftborne; yet more aggressive than the seemingly-passive Riftsingers. In their eyes, the Truth must be spread by any means...especially unsavory ones. Identifying with Halrormalenth, the Broken Creator, these individuals use the shadows to accomplish their goals. Whether it be by propaganda, the elimination of key adversaries, blackmail, or other underhanded means, the Riftwalkers are eager to sway hearts and minds without causing any resistance.

Structure: Hierarchy

As a whole, the Seekers of the Rift do not possess a tremendous sum of formal titles. Instead, the whole of the "order" operates by means of a basic tier system. Regardless of Circle, those who are fresh to the Seekers or are fledlings in wielding their Gifts are regarded as Initiates. Upon proving their mettle, piety, and proficiency, an Initiate will then become hailed as a Spellweaver and be granted additional authority and responsibility within the Seekers. Finally, only the greatest will ascend to the mantle of Elder and be granted the opportunity to join the Conclave.

Although distinct, no Circle of the Seekers is greater than another. Peace, balance, and collaboration is achieved by means of an assembly of Elders known as the Conclave. It is the responsibility of this congregation to ensure that the Seekers of the Rift maintain their ambitions to spread the Truth; as well as to oversee seamless integrations with the Primeval at large. As such, the Conclave works closely with the Host Lord, the Warlords, and other coordinating members of the Primeval at all times.

Why Should I Join?

The Saga of the Primeval is ever-growing, and the Seekers are a bold, new chapter. This sect deviates from the standard Light versus Darkness and offers a new, player-created option that is open to every demographic of Force user. If you are looking for a new direction, a fresh start, or something that breaks the mold look no further!
