Seeing if there is interest in this idea

I brought this character over to this board because of a faction I saw here that hunted beasts across the galaxy. Sadly that faction isn't really active and I haven't been able to figure out what to do with this character. So I started scouting for new factions but before I go ahead and join something I wanted to see if there was any interest in the following.

A faction for wildlife conservation. It would be full of members that protect the wildlife and fish around the galaxy. This could be scientists who study zoology or other forms of biology. Or it could be zoo members who create sanctuary's. It could be beast handlers who handle beasts for entertainment. It could be breeders and captors and also hunters because the society would give out hunting licenses to help keep population under control. A lot of different types of characters could really fit.


It would be a minor faction with no real goals to be a major faction. Just a group of people who wanted to tell hunting , fishing, and outdoor type adventures.

Would that strike anybodies fancy?

Hiya. I'm currently planning on making a race centered around the appreciation/co-existence with animals and nature in general. I think this minor faction would be right up my future character's alley.

This sounds fantastic, I have [member="Jyn Lorr"] who has actively created a Sanctuary for animals she rescued from the Black Market. I can see her showing an interest in this for sure!

If people are interested I'll get something together. Do you have any suggestions for a planet for us to be based on?

This is something I could see Errreembuhr taking interest in. Both through donations and hunting for population control. I've been looking for more things to do with him, and this looks like a lot of fun!

I'd definitely be interested in something like this! Esis is a xenobiologist and xenozoologist, so she'd most certainly like to join a faction centered around wildlife conservation.

My character would be all about this seeing as how she's an animal lover and a minor-ish celebrity. Maybe she could help raise money for the cause, advocate for it, etc.

I put up a template for a planet creation. If it's approved we can use it as a homeworld. It can be like a planet wide nature reserve (if they approve it).

I'll then start a thread of us opening up and the faction being created and hiring scientists and hunters etc. That could be how you all join if you like?
