She smiled seeing Kyrie walk in and make her way over and set the datacron on the table and smiled. "Haven't looked at it yet figured would wait for you to see the surprise that awaits. as for why they are after up probably because I Killed some friends of theirs tortured someone they work for I lost track of that kind of thing they are an annoyance that I cant seem to shake." She acted like the killing was all a non entity and just a part of daily life.

The thrum of the music seemed to fade as they sat and she opened the datacron. It help recipes and other information that appeared useless but if someone knew what they where looking for the list had been hidden in the data. "useless dribble who needs grandmas recipe on Bantha stew." She seemed annoyed that it held no information of value to her but thats how she always was it was her mission to find the mother and prove her existence and claim her power. She wanted to smash the item in front of them but for some reason couldn't bring herself to do it. Leaning back she laid her head back and went limp for about a second before her eyes shot open and she sat up. "We got the list." Was all she said staring at the fragmented data and useless information.

She looked to herself and sighed not happy about being in these robes again. "Please tell me I didn't kill anyone?" was all Switch asked Kyrie her eyes pleeding as if she was used to there usually being death around her when she came to. "And why did I buy such expensive wine." She slammed her hand against the table and sipped the wine anyways. "Might as well enjoy it I Guess."

Kyrie returned Switch's smile. Since Switch was actually here waiting, it wasn't a terrible shock that the data hadn't been examined yet. With Dark Lord Switch lounging with a bottle of wine, Kyrie did think for a moment that she might be being used however. The admission that Switch now knew exactly why the hunters were after "them" was quite a surprise. The actions described by the Sith Lord were in line with what Kyrie had experienced in the Zabrak's office. But when the hunters first attacked Switch seemed to have no idea what was going on. It was almost as if there were two Switches.

With a tilted head of slight confusion, Kyrie turned her attention to the activated datacron. The initial viewing showed nothing that would help them close the deal on their contract. It looked like the datacron of some housewife, not that Kyrie really had an idea what that was. Switch seemed just as disappointed, though something was telling Kyrie they were missing something. Why had Switch extracted this data at all? "There has to be more here. We need to look deeper," Kyrie said squinting her eyes as if she could see into the coding of the data.

Kyrie put her elbows on the table and her chin in her hands as she stared at the data. She hadn't noticed Switch leaning back, but the looked over in the slicer's direction when she said that the list was there. "This isn't the list," Kyrie responded in confusion as she looked at the recipes and shook her head. But Switch was an expert.

Kyrie noticed Switch looking at herself and looking…well the look was not a good expression. When Switch asked Kyrie to tell her she hadn't killed anyone Kyrie sighed and scooted closer to the slicer and ran her hand along Switch's arm. "I wasn't here when you ordered the wine, but unless you killed someone between the terminal and here, I was the one doing the fighting. And I can tell you everyone should survive." Kyrie allowed Switch to get a drink of the wine, then she took one herself.

"Did you black out between the terminal and here?" Kyrie asked timidly. She didn't want to make Switch angry. Perhaps changes in mood was what made Switch more violent. Kyrie's hand went to Switch's hand and she gave the white haired girl's hand a squeeze. "You changed into those robes in broad daylight," Kyrie blushed a bit remembering that she watched that change a little too closely. "And then you were back to quite angry and looking like you were going to strike out with your lightsaber. I think your black outs might be some sort of multiple personality thing…I just can't figure out what triggers it…"

Switch sat there for a long moment her mind a race now at the mention of a split personality this bothered her she didn't like knowing something or someone else had control of her body and could do what it wanted. it wasn't outside of options but she didn't consider it a viable one tell now her partner was stating that its a possibility. Switch focused herself on the job first and reached back pulling her hair up and tying it up in a ponytail. She leaned forward and started to show the discrepancies in the data for the information to Kyrie Blaze Kyrie Blaze Knowing they had more to discuss.

"You see here and there small little things that anyone who wasn't a slicer would just consider it being old data and slightly damaged."

Switch then pulled up a piece of the data from one of them from that section and decoded it right there and sure enough it was apart of a secondary list if it was theirs they wouldn't know but it seemed she had found it at least.

"Lets lay low here awhile and hope no one sees us." She was really hating being in these robes but she wasn't about to change in front of people at least not again

"so tell me did you enjoy the show the other me put on?" She assumed that there was something there but since they where going to be staying at the bar awhile and at least finishing the bottle of wine that had been bought she might as well start a conversation.

Switch seemed a bit flustered by the mention black outs and multiple personalities. Kyrie couldn't really blame her for that it would be quite a shock. But at the same time Kyrie was not judging either. It was just a theory based on what little facts Kyrie had gathered about her white-haired partner. She only brought it up so that maybe if Switch wanted to she could investigate it. But Kyrie was not about to force the issue. When Switch started talking about the specifics of the data Kyrie put her elbows on the table, chin in her hands and listened intently, her focus shifting from the data itself to the young woman giving the rundown.

Kyrie wasn't very knowledgeable on slicing and data. At least if she was those memories were not coming back as other instincts were. Like flying her ship and shooting her gun. What Switch had found in the data was quite interesting and how she went about dissecting the data was quite impressive. "You are quite good with that data. I never would have thought it could be layered on like that."

Switch suggested they lay low. That was fine with Kyrie. It would give her time to come up with a plan for the possibility that they would have to blast their way out. "Good plan. We can see how hot they are on your…I mean our trail. If they are willing to rush this place guns blazing we will need to think of something fast. If not we can probably figure out some way to avert attention after making them wait a bit…besides this wine is actually good," Kyrie giggled and took a sip of the wine.

Kyrie gave a slight frown at the way she was asked about the potential "other Switch". She took another sip and put her hand on Switch's shoulder. "The you that wields a lightsaber and wears Sith robes is intriguing. I wouldn't say that I enjoy it. She aggressively starts altercations and then leaves me holding the bag." Kyrie paused for a moment and gave Switch's shoulder a squeeze. "I prefer the Switch who is a whiz with data, and I know I might need to stick my neck out to keep her safe while she does her thing. That is much better than the one that stirs up trouble and takes off…Chooses a good bottle of wine though…" Kyrie giggled and leaned into Switch slightly.

"Maybe it is just she trusts you to handle the situation while she gets other things in motion?" She was trying to find reason for this other side to of done these things and she figured trust would be the best reason. She hoped this was enough to give Kyrie some hope for the other side granted now switch was concerned about that other half she hadn't known about tell now.

Switch blushed hearing Kyrie say she preferred her this caused her to get butterflies in her stomach the fact the Kyrie was leaning in switch was trying to figure out what to do and she just reached out and put her arm around the woman holding her close. and took a sip of her wine. "I Prefer you to other people in general you are amazing and have taken care of me under good and bad and I thank you for that."

Switch then took the wine and set it down it was a good bottle of wine she would admit she just hoped they could enjoy it in peace. She saw some people looking around but no one looking their direction she was keeping a vigilant eye out for anyone that may be paying to much attention to the two in the back enjoying each others company and a bottle of wine. Switch wanted to be bold but that was something she was only in combat situations and melee combat at that its what she was trained in but she couldn't remember who trained her but she knew she had helped her brother on several occasions.

"I'm doing all of this to try find my brother." She blurted out and then quickly grabbed the wine and took a large drink of it surprised that she had even stated why she was doing all these odd jobs and to someone she was just getting to know.

Kyrie gave a proud grin when Switch suggested the Sith Lord left Kyrie to finish fights because she was so capable of doing so. So far in Kyrie's experience since losing her memory that had proven to be the case more often than not, but the dark-haired girl had a feeling that Sith Lord Switch merely wasn't a fan of putting herself at risk when there was someone else to take that risk on. Kyrie was also a little suspicious that Sith Lord Switch might know a bit more about the other Switch, than slicer Switch knew about her. Perhaps Sith Lord Switch guessed that Kyrie wouldn't let anything happen to Slicer Switch and took advantage of it. That seemed to be within the realm of expectations from a Sith in Kyrie's intuition.

It was possible that Switch was worried that if Kyrie thought the Sith Lord was putting her in danger unnecessarily that Kyrie might not want to continue to work together. That was far from the truth. Knowing that Switch was vulnerable when the Sith Lord had control of her body, Kyrie was even more determined to stay paired together and get Switch help. If that was even possible. To put Switch's mind at ease Kyrie was going to accept her theory, that the Sith ran off out of confidence, but then Switch's arm went around Kyrie's shoulders and the dark-haired hunter froze.

Kyrie's cheeks turned a bright pink when Switch said how much she liked Kyrie, and appreciated the protection provided. "It is a pleasure to keep you safe Switch. I don't think you communicate with the other you, but don't let her know I rather like doing it and I would do it for free," Kyrie gave a wink that was somewhere between nervous and flirtatious.

Kyrie was almost lost in the moment of bonding when she noted Switch's eyes search the area. Kyrie took a look as well. She wasn't sure how much experience Switch had with being hunted, though Kyrie guessed the Sith Lord side had made it a common occurrence. Kyrie was a hunter. She looked around the room seeing if anyone was acting as she would to try to find prey, but not alert the other people around. It seemed safe for the moment, but Kyrie wondered if things would stay that way for long.

Kyrie felt something coming from Switch that she couldn't remember ever sensing before. It was a strange mix of emotions she had sensed individually before, but this was something different. And if Kyrie was honest, she was feeling something different for Switch than she could remember feeling before. She took a small nervous sip of the wine and tried to decide what to do next. It was then that Switch said something about finding her brother. The quick long drink of wine made Kyrie laugh, but she quickly reached out a hand to take Switch's into it. Kyrie didn't want Switch to think the reason for the laugh was Switch's statement. "Family is a noble reason to take on jobs. I don't remember my family at all yet," Kyrie said softly and gave Switch's hand a squeeze. Kyrie didn't know that her family either didn't exist, or was very large with a single "parent" and a lot of sisters. "The Sith Lord is looking for something too. Not nearly as noble. Abeloth is a dangerous entity if she still exists in this galaxy. If you would like it would be my pleasure to stay with you and help you find your brother…and make sure that the Sith Lord doesn't cause too much trouble using your body to do so." Kyrie maintained the closeness even moving a bit closer. Like Switch there were times she was very bold. But she lacked memories of social interactions, and she wasn't sure she could trust her intuition. At this closeness however if nothing interrupted them, and she drank more wine, Kyrie was sure to give in to temptation.

Switch smiled at Kyrie and was feeling confident in her new companion she gave her a sense of peace and happiness she had thought she forgot about. finding out about what the other half was looking for and she agreed it was far more dangerous and far less noble. Switch tilted her hand up and held Kyrie's and squeezed it in return. She was enjoying the closeness of the young woman with her and she was thinking about what to do next and how to get the data back to their boss. currently they where cornered and wasn't sure how soon they would be able to leave but for now she was going to enjoy this moment of peace and normalcy.

"Well lets just hope she doesn't poke her nose out to much more than because I like this..." With the wine getting to her a bit she continued her statement. "... and you." She didn't realize what she had said or the implications of it but she was still happy to have this tender moment in time something she could say was hers.

The comfort in the situation was growing. Kyrie was getting to the point that her eyes were no longer drifting to ensure that no threat came lurking. She didn't know much about the use of the Force. At the moment that just came by instinct. And Kyrie knew that she would get a warning before any imminent danger was present. In a brief moment of realization that she was becoming lost in the moment she hoped that if something did happen her warning tingle would provide enough time to protect Switch.

Switch returning the squeezing of her hand did nothing to focus Kyrie's energy where it should have been. They had a job they needed to complete, they needed to be sure that hunters didn't find them and attack. Kyrie's memories only went back a short time, but she could never remember a time when she had forgotten everything that wasn't in a five foot radius from her. Yet at this moment the only things that mattered were the wine and the beautiful white-haired slicer that she had been lucky to be paired with.

Switch mentioned that she hoped the Sith Lord would stay away for a bit. That was a sentiment that Kyrie wholeheartedly agreed with. She hoped in time that she would be able to figure out what triggered the change, maybe even separate the Sith Lord from Switch altogether, but for now it would do well for just a little bit of peace. Then Switch said what it seemed they were both thinking. Kyrie had eluded to it, but she had said it in a manner that was more about helping. Switch "liked" Kyrie.

"I like you too," Kyrie replied. It was in a soft tone, almost a whisper. The young hunter blushed and quickly took a sip of wine. But Kyrie was not a timid woman. At least not from her limited memories of herself. She smiled and scooted hip to hip with Switch in the booth. Her arm snaked around Switch's waist, with the table blocking anyone from noticing, not that Kyrie cared. "We will need to be on the move soon. Someone had to see one of us duck in here. But perhaps if we looked like a couple they won't notice as anything else," Kyrie hummed leaning towards Switch and gently kissing her cheek.

Those four words where enough to make her chest feel tight and her stomach turn in ways she didn't know was possible. They distracted her from watching the bar anymore then when she felt Kyrie get close enough to be hip to hip she stiffened slightly in shock then the hand around her hip. she reached up and grabbed the wine and refilled her glass and took a sip.

The next part is what really caught her off guard the part about them looking like a couple. this made her mind race and she had things she wanted to say things she kept to herself. Even though it was a short time this woman had taken time to care about her get to know her past the job. She even had cared about the fact there was a war over who and what to find. She was just glad that she had brought it to her attention what was going on what happened during the blackouts. She didn't like it but she liked the woman that cared for her.

"Why don't we just..." She stopped what she was saying and just squeezed Kyries hand again and leaned into her and nuzzled the top of the woman's head. She couldn't bring herself to say the rest there was something that told her not to something deep inside that said it was to much to soon take your time. She just smiled and waited tell Kyrie was ready to leave. She just wanted to enjoy the peace right now.

Kyrie felt the nerves inside of Switch. It made her a little queasy as well. She couldn't remember having a feeling of "like" this strong. Maybe that feeling just naturally made one's stomach seize up. It was a feeling that made Kyrie afraid and excited at the same time. And it was definitely a distraction.

Switch's instinct to drink more wine was one that Kyrie was feeling as well. But she managed to hold herself back. When they were in a more secure place, maybe they could really let their hair down, so to speak, but now Kyrie was supposed to be the security. The one that made sure the work Switch had put into their mission was not wasted by being show down by thugs that Switch's other part brought down on them.

Switch's nerves spiked even higher as Kyrie suggested to appear like a couple. The idea sprouted from other thoughts, but they would have to wait to explore later. As Switch spoke, Kyrie thought that maybe there would be some sort of rejection of the plan. Instead, whatever was going to be spoken was stopped and replaced by a squeeze of Kyrie's hand and nuzzling in close.

Kyrie held Switch close against her side for a bit. They continued to sip on the wine in a bit of uncomfortable, yet enjoyable silence. Then there was a bit of a commotion from the bar area. Somehow a whole stack of glasses had fallen from the bar and shattered on the ground with a loud crash. All attention in the place moved to the action. Kyrie saw the opportunity. She grabbed Switch's hand and gently pulled her from the booth. "This is our chance. Let's make tracks," she said quickly. "We probably want to put those Sith robes back in your pack when we have a chance. A slicer on Daiyu sticks out much less. Even one as pretty as you."

Switch sat there taking in the atmosphere enjoying the sounds in the bar. her heart lifted she didn't understand what this was completely but she did understand that she liked this woman and she wanted to keep her safe she wanted to protect. As Kyrie nuzzled into her she reached up and ran her fingers through her hair with a soft smile. Feeling of being held and so close it made her relax made her feel happy not about the job that had long since left her mind and was replaced by Kyrie as a whole. She was all that mattered to her at this moment she then heard the words and felt the grip on her hand and being pulled from the booth.

"Right lets move." She said grabbing her bag and they kept moving she wanted to change right now but they didn't have somewhere for her to change her words about her changing made her blush and she just rushed with the woman out of the bar thinking about changing with her near by this made her face turn beat red.

"We need to move and get back but I don't have somewhere to change I need somewhere to get changed if we are going to put the robes away" She seemed shy and reserved like this like stripping and changing in front of anyone was going to be a problem for her granted she had already done it once. "I do want to be back in my Slicer outfit. its far more comfortable kind of like a second skin for me." She flushed deeper red and just kept moving with Kyrie.

Kyrie didn’t wait for the moment to settle—she took it. The instant Switch was close enough, Kyrie’s hand snapped out, fingers lacing firmly with hers as she pivoted toward the back exit of the bar. The noise, the tension, the hunters—it all blurred into background static as she pulled Switch along in her wake.

“Time to move,” she muttered, low and sharp, though the edge softened into something more playful as she glanced back over her shoulder.

They slipped out into the alley, boots hitting duracrete as Kyrie immediately set a brisk, weaving pace through the narrow corridors of the district. She didn’t run in a straight line—never did. Corners, cut-throughs, changes in elevation. Anyone following would have to work for it.

Only once they had put a bit of distance between themselves and the bar did Kyrie slow slightly—just enough to look back again. Her eyes flicked down to their joined hands. Then up to Switch. A smirk tugged at her lips.

“Y’know…” Kyrie drawled, breath steady despite the pace, “you’re a lot more shy now than you were slipping into those Sith robes.” There was a teasing edge there, deliberate. She gave Switch’s hand a light squeeze before finally releasing it—only because she needed both hands free as she scanned ahead.

That’s when she spotted it. A boutique—small, tucked between larger storefronts, the kind of place hunters wouldn’t think twice about unless they were very thorough. “Perfect.”

Without slowing much, Kyrie reached back again, this time hooking her fingers loosely around Switch’s wrist and guiding—no, pulling—her inside. A chime sounded softly as the door shut behind them, cutting off the chaos of the outside world in an instant.

Kyrie didn’t hesitate. She moved straight for the back, weaving through racks of clothing before pushing aside a curtain that led to a set of dressing rooms. “In there,” she said, nodding toward one of the stalls.

Her tone shifted—still confident, still in control, but quieter now. Focused. “Nice an private for you to change back into your other clothes,” She stepped back out into the small corridor, positioning herself where she had a clear line of sight to both the entrance and the dressing area. One hand rested casually near her side, but there was nothing casual about the way her posture settled—alert, ready.

“I’ll keep watch,” Kyrie added, voice lower now, more serious beneath the lingering trace of amusement. “If anyone comes sniffing around, they answer to me first.”

A beat. Then, a faint smirk returned, just audible in her tone as she leaned lightly against the wall. “Don’t take too long, yeah? We’ve still got a Zabrak waiting—and I’d like to hear what you dug up before someone else decides to ruin our day.”

Switch moved with Kyrie keeping up but her chest was rising and falling heavily as they make it to the boutique and moved to the back where a changing room was and moved into it hearing Kyrie's words and she pulled off the robes and pulled her slicer outfit out and pulled it on as it hugged her body tightly and formed to the curves of her body. She sighed as she closed it up and stretched as it settled on her flesh and smiled.

"That's better." * She said as she opened her bag and put the light sabers in first then started to put the sith robes away still not sure why she hadn't gotten ride of the robes something kept telling her to keep them once they where packed away she pulled the bag over her shoulder and stepped out striking a pose for Kyrie then took her hand holding it softly and smiled.

"Lets go get the job finished we have an employer waiting on us." She then pulled Kyrie with her weaving through the racks and shelves of cloths thinking about shopping but decided against it as they stepped out she started to dart between the buildings zig zagging on the path and even taking a ladder and moving across roof tops before she slid down a ladder in the ally behind their employer and looked at Kyrie as she came down enjoying the view but also making sure she made it down safe. "Almost safe just need to make it up to our employer and deliver the data."

Kyrie gave Switch a long once-over the moment she stepped out of the dressing room. The slicer suit fit like it had been poured onto her—sleek, dark, practical, and just distracting enough that Kyrie’s brows lifted with clear approval.

“Well,” she said, mouth curving, “that is definitely less suspicious than Sith cultist.”[/color] Her eyes lingered another half second when Switch struck the pose, and Kyrie answered it with an amused snort before allowing herself to be tugged along once more.

“Show-off.”

Still, she let Switch take the lead. Out through the boutique they went, slipping back into the arteries of the city. Kyrie kept pace easily this time, trusting the slicer’s knowledge of routes while remaining vigilant enough to scan every reflective surface, every alley mouth, every rooftop edge. Switch moved cleverly—zigzagging through foot traffic, taking ladders, vaulting across low roofs. Kyrie followed without complaint, boots hitting metal and stone in a rhythmic succession as they carved a jagged line back toward where the Zabrak waited.

Kyrie dropped down the final ladder into the alley a heartbeat after Switch, landing in a crouch before straightening with a sharp exhale. For the first time in several frantic minutes, the city seemed to quiet around them. The back entrance to the Zabrak’s block was only a short stretch ahead.

Almost safe just need to make it up to our employer and deliver the data.

Kyrie let out a breath through her nose, a grin threatening at the corner of her mouth. “Music to my ears.” She took two steps forward. Then instinct screamed.

“DOWN—!” Kyrie didn’t even fully process what she had seen—just the sudden glint from a rooftop line above and to the left and one of those feelings—before she threw herself bodily into Switch. Her shoulder slammed into the slicer’s midsection and drove them both hard against the alley wall just as the shot hit.

It wasn’t a clean blaster bolt. It was an impact round. The duracrete beside where they had been standing detonated in a violent burst of sparks, shattered masonry, and metal fragments. Shrapnel screamed through the narrow corridor. Kyrie twisted mid-fall, hauling Switch in tight beneath her and turning her own back outward to shield the worst of it.

Chunks of stone hammered against Kyrie’s jacket and shoulder. Something sharp clipped her upper arm. Another fragment ricocheted off the wall inches from Switch’s head. Dust engulfed them. For one deafening second all Kyrie could hear was ringing.

Then another shot cracked overhead, chewing apart a rusted pipe farther down the alley and sending steam hissing into the confined space. Kyrie shoved herself upright first, one hand still gripping Switch as she pulled her staying low behind a stack of refuse bins.

“Sniper,” she hissed, peering upward through the settling grit.

There—High rooftop. Long rifle. One hunter, patient enough not to come close and smart enough to turn the alley into a shooting gallery. Kyrie clicked her tongue in irritation. “Of course they learned from the last idiots.”

Another round struck the alley mouth ahead, spraying fresh chips of duracrete inward. Not a direct hit—her attacker was corralling them, denying the straight route to the office. Kyrie leaned back into cover, chest rising quicker now as she calculated angles. Front path blocked. Roofline exposed. Going back the way they came risked crossing open street.

Her amber eyes slid toward the narrow maintenance door half-hidden behind a dumpster on the opposite wall—old service access, probably feeding into the adjoining commercial block. Not ideal. Which meant it was perfect. Kyrie tightened her hold on Switch’s wrist and jerked her chin toward it.

“No heroic straight lines. We reroute.” A third round cracked into the pavement where Kyrie had been kneeling a second earlier, spraying gravel over her boots. She flashed a feral grin despite herself. “Apparently getting paid means earning every credit today.”

Timing the hunter’s reload by ear, Kyrie darted out from behind cover and hauled Switch with her in a low sprint across the alley toward the maintenance entrance, intent on cutting through the neighboring buildings and finding some less suicidal path back to the Zabrak’s office.
