Imperius did not enjoy this. He would even say that he hated it. But doing what was necessary rather than what was liked was one of the burdens that had to be taken as an aspiring leader and ruler. And as much as his mind could handle, it could not handle everything, everywhere all at once. Especially not in the financial and economic sectors where his expertise was limited to state-controlled heavy industry, not the intricacies of markets, stocks and monetary policies and currencies.

He adorned a uniform for once, not his warplate, a new design which was a cut between parade and pragmatic, featuring a plated gorget and shoulder guard in black titanium from under which a long, black-red trimmed cape fell and a collar with an embroiled golden laurel wreath extended. The uniform jacket itself was double breasted with red inlays and four code cylinders, matching cavalry trousers with a red stripe and high black boots, polished that you could almost see yourself in them finished the regalia. On the gorget was his rank plague, newly introduced, with a top row of six white and bottom row of six red squares. At his side hung Valoris, his sword, sheathed.

The Warmaster left the Upsilon-class Shuttle with rather unusual swift steps that carried him even faster than his normal long but calm stride. He had an appointment and while it was not a marriage of love he planned, he also planned for it to last as briefly as possible. The news of his 'allies' now proclaiming their new Empire on New Alderaan had reached him and while he was glad that some iteration of Imperial was challenging the status quo - it was a matter of time till this feeble attempt crumbled under its own ambition and lackluster leadership. He had to prepare for it.

Coming to the Trade Federation and Techno Union for a deal to secure the future was the first step.

Harnaidan was a fine, money green jewel of the Braxant. Though, in the past few decades it had not always retained the coveted glory and wealth that thousands of generations of Muuns had toiled to cultivate, keep, export and launder for hundreds of years afterwards. The Third Imperial Civil War had raped it of its resources but it was the Trade Federation who had rebuilt it, retaining much of the city's architectural design language though its population had diversified a great deal in the wake of the Muun genocide, though the group had still made up the planet's upper class with many of them in high ranking positions of the Trade Federation.

He might've found it...nostalgic. Much of Harnaidan echoed the Imperial regime, with the Diarchy playing a rather gentle hand in the planet's rule, leaving it to be all but governed by the Trade Federation, an ever frugal conglomerate who would not waste time and money in uprooting Imperial symbols, statues and monuments that had been erected in the wake of the Third Imperial Civil war's end. The police force which was a compliment of the Trade Defense Force even used much of the same Imperial equipment, uniforms and vehicles only with the Iron Sun replaced with the symbolism of the Trade Federation.

Regardless, things here were peaceful, orderly and prosperous- to be expected in the shadow of the Trade Federation's headquarters, the IMP500 stock exchange and what was now thirty years untouched by war. The Trade Federation headquarters was centered in what was once known as the Damask Superspire, a monolithic structure which stood prominent in the Harnaidan skyline and large enough to dock and hold Imperius's shuttle within its clutches. He was greeted by an array of automatons, one of them hooking a line of rhydonium to the vessel to top it off with fuel as another scanned its exterior for any deadlining faults, listening or tracking devices and potential explosives. It was invasive but this was the headquarters of the Trade Federation, not any spaceport.

A protocol droid with masculine programming approached the man, speaking up in its flat, robotic tone. "Welcome to Harnaidan, please - right this way." The droid spoke before leading him to the nearest elevator lift, punching in the top floor before an accompanying authentication code.

"Viceroy Tambor will meet you in his office. We hope you enjoy your visit." The droid said before the doors closed in front of him, a rapid ascent and they opened once more to the entrance of Tambor's office suite. Two well carved statues of an art-deco styling were embedded into the wall above fountains which flowed into rectangular pools along either side of the walk way, both brimming with exotic yet docile aquatic life. A scanner thrummed over Imperius's form before there was silence for a moment, the trickle of water on either side and nothing else before the office doors parted with a metallic hiss, revealing the large and lavish office suite of the Viceroy.

The Skakoan was perched at his desk, the score of different monitors displaying an array of information of various relevance. Stock market trackers, prototype blueprints, holonet messages, newsfeeds. He turned in his seat, a press of a button on his desk turning all of the displays to a blank image of the Trade Federation emblem before he rose, his wide, beady eyes appraising the man before he pre-emptively tooled with the vocoder knob on his atmospheric suit.

<"Ahhh, Mister-...I'm at a loss of how to dissect the name...but I assume Mister Imperius suites well enough? Apologies, please, sit."> He said, motioning to a lounge area of cushioned seating nestled around a hearth, one of which bearing a rather awkward configuration of padding and structure.. He rounded the desk himself, approaching with a low hover of his atmospheric suit along the violet carpeting before he sat in the afforementioned seat which had been shaped to conform comfortably to his bulky pressure suit.

Another protocol droid entered with feminine programming to which Tambor motioned toward the man, opening the offer to any beverages or other refreshments. A human custom, one which Tambor did not have the luxury of indulging in. Eating over business talk. He did however, press a rather discreet and to the untrained eye meaningless button on the center control panel of his suit which funneled a slow drip of Mind Spiral into his body.

<"I trust the jump here was a routine matter? It is quite the excursion from Zakuul, assuming that was your point of origin. Never the less, you strike me as a man who does not care to waste time or breath for pleasantries so I'll save us both the effort. It is only ever beings of high ambitions who find themselves in Harnaidan for the express purpose being in this office...so I assume, you hold such ambitions and aspirations. More than what a bulk order of Imperial surplus can capture for you.">

He arrived tense, he was tense when entering the office, not that it was noticeable from his expression or to a complete stranger. The place reminded him of the battle fought here, which he fought alongside the Imperials in Operation Shadowdance against a Sith counter-attack, even those harsh times were easier than it was now and did little to lower his distaste for this business.

And yet Imperius was caught completely off-guard by the name-finding issues and it somewhat relieved him. It was always duty for him, always the straight forward approach and yet here he stood and his name mattered not. Four thousand years in the Galaxy and his name was nothing, not that it was his birth name and the confusion might be understandable, but it was the fact that it did not matter than released some tension. It was what happened from now that set the stage.

"Imperius will be acceptable." He offered a nod, the black eyes not leaving the Viceroy. "I appreciate the swiftness as to which this meeting was made possible." While straight to the point, there should never be a lack of basic manners.

The Pureblood followed the host's gesture and movement to the seating area, cushioned, luxurious and no doubt comfortable. Something he rarely indulged in and could, briefly, enjoy as well. Promptly some droid arrived with refreshments from which only some infused water was taken, alcohol did not befit any official business with a stranger. He sat down, keeping his cape and his sheathed sword in a way that they would not interfere, with a moaning protest of the chair due to his augmented weight.

Imperius nodded as Tambor opened with more mannerism of casual inquiry but subsequently realised that it was probably not necessary beyond initial greetings and the mandatory offerings already made with some success.

"It is indeed aspirations and ambitions that bring me here. Your involvement in the late Empire's technology, industry and infrastructure was extensive and provided much of the needed post-conquest relief and rebuilding while providing the ever-hungry warmachine with weapons and funds. A task that was, considering the policies of Fel and Tavlar, monumental."

"New Empires came and fell, their spirits hardly iron, their goals vain and their success brief. Lacking leadership, lacking purpose and lacking the strong foundations upon which a realm should be build. What before was carved out with the blade and built on the corpses of its enemies, I want to reconstitute through thoroughness and endurance. A new Empire built on strength and built from leadership. This cannot be done without the support of substantial economic power and experience."

"I have a variety of proposals, limited deals and operations, to solidify a partnership both to mutually evaluate and grow a potential relationship before committing to a more in-depth one."

He'd, admittedly, heard similar talks before. Imperius was ultimately not the first hopeful Imperial to be seated before him with such grand aspirations, not that he wouldn't hear them out. In the worst case, they'd still be leaving with a hand-receipt of several hundreds of thousands of credits worth in purchases of New Imperial surplus. For as much the market liberal Tambor postured himself to be, he was quite partial to his dealings with Imperials.

They were ambitious by nature and were prone to cultivating a safe and orderly realm. In theory at least. The New Imperial Order saw itself entrenched in a forever war amidst the darkness. Whilst, it worked well into Tambor's hand it was a far from ideal circumstance for governance.

<AWWWWWWWRERREEEEE- Indeed. The management of the New Imperial economy was a monumental task but...one that worked to satisfactory results, considering the circumstances. As Director of IBED I had the full intentions of slowly weening the Empire from its full command economy in the interest of galactic trade and prosperity in due time...however the state of 'total war' of which it found itself in produced an environment of which that was not an option. All raw materials, manufacturing and technological development was dedicated to the pursuit of victory. A good deal of it spearheaded by the Techno Union. Tavlar favored more in not straining the Empire's production capacity to its totality, however the straining of relations with the Galactic Alliance and the 'Kuat Crisis' forced economic isolation."> Tambor explained, historical context of which Imperius was likely wholly privy to, but from a different perspective.

<"I would be...dishonest in saying such a policy did not work to the benefit of the Trade Federation. The Kuat Shipyards produced much of the Imperial navy, but economic sanctions forced production to move to Entralla, where a similar facility was constructed. My facility."> He said before he waved a dismissive hand, if only to himself.

<"Never the less...consider me...intrigued. Though for full transparency I will provide to you the context that you are not the only supposed successor of Imperial glory to enter my office in recent days. Even if those talks have transpired to...varying degrees of success or interest on my part."> He explained, adjusting himself in his seat. Though Tambor was a man all his own, his position in IBED seemed to have postured him as a 'king maker' of sorts in the Imperial sphere. At least to those who thought beyond war ships and into the finer grains of sustaining such a monolithic and resource heavy archetype of state which demanded the rule of a closed fist.

<"Regardless...I am interested in discussing your proposals- otherwise you would not be here as you are now...assuming they go beyond bulk armament purchases or...a 'gamble for a little extra credits'."> He said, rolling his eyes, clearly quoting someone.

That did not surprise Imperius. Even though he could exclude some contestants, mainly the Imperial Confederation. Sularen wanted his own mega-corporation to take over the reigns from the Trade Federation, a conglomerate of various companies that he wished to be the primary supplier of Imperial technology and supplies. The Grand Moff lacked the farsight and the Exarch was an employee of N&Z - hardly aspirants for economic independence or awareness. Barran was left in his cloud castle, assuming dreams of grandeur, or delusions, so not unlikely. Tarkin and Warsaw had their own little plays, but no grand dreams.

"I can equip my current armies and navies without surplus, maintaining them in an all out war is a different question, one that requires addressing at a later point in this conversation though due to its lower priority." He crossed his four fingered hands, the slightly elongated claws of his species filed in a civilised manner. "There is no illusion of any influence or power I hold over you or your corporation, but I would be remiss to remind you that I expect and return discretion for whatever is shared in these halls."

"Currently I am working on a project involving the rare substance known as Isotope-5 and with my current calculations, the amount I have will be sufficient for the tests and trials of the project, but not its implementation. Makeb is a world at the edge of Hutt Space and its leadership as volatile as its geography. To extract more, while not drawing too much attention, I want to initiate a covert campaign to initiate riots and a small civil war, preferably with both sides being supplied a sufficient amount of weapons to embolden them, but one, the morally superior one, ultimately having less. Under the pretense of peacekeeping intervention, troops will be sent to re-establish order, shutting down the world and launching mining operations. After establishment of a proper drilling site and beginning of the extraction, with the Sith Empire's capacities in mind from the first discovery, we will require a minimum of eight to ten weeks of unobstructed extraction to reach a satisfactory amount of Isotope. Six weeks being the minimum."

He shared the vision or idea in a tone of absolute neutrality, void of any attachment or caring for the implications it has for the people that will die.

"The second proposal is the reestablishment of a Kyber refinement facility on Artus Prime. Mining crystals, refining them and conducting R&D as well. This merely requires construction input, as I envision the further operations to be run by a select diversity of Imperial-aligned individuals."

Imperius was not willing to reveal the intention and goal behind either yet or unless demanded. He rather left room for either speculation or assumption, seeing if this grand merchant would be able to figure out the reason and essence of it.

"Vandemarian Techwrights holds currently exclusive rights to support my operations, including a vast research and development program both in energy, weapons and genetics, the latter especially focused on cloning and cybernetics. I am not a student of economics and business, using careful state-planning to acquire and achieve what I desire. I understand that it is not enough to compete on the public market. To turn greater profits and reduce reliance on taxation, I want to offer joint ventures - which specifics I propose you to make, for better experience and farsight in these matters."

"Further and as mentioned in the beginning, I wish to purchase access to licensed production of all Imperial equipment and ultimately, priority and exclusive access to its stocks at a time of mutual agreement following an announcement request. In other words, once we have reached a sufficient traction in both operations and our business relationship, I want to put in the call for Imperial supplies to exclusively be released towards me, we meet, review the data and make a decision."

"Lastly, I wanted to share a thought, an idea that has been on my mind for some time as someone who is not from the Coreworlds as you are. The Unknown Regions offer a large variety of opportunities and resources for those that are more acclimatized in there vastness and emptiness. The Maw barely touched the surface of what they could have utlised, their ways shutting them from extensive exploitation. I could imagine that a project to explore, develop and extract could go a long way of benefits and profits."

He was silent, sitting still, slouched somewhat in the seat not so much out of disinterest but for comfort's sake as his beady eyes, magnified by the thick lenses of his pressure goggles remained fixed on the Pureblood. The proposals broached forth by the man certainly earned Tambor's intrigue, nodding along the more he explained but was patient enough not to add-in or interrupt. It was a refreshing change of pace in contrast to other meetings he'd taken here. These were real, concrete plans or at the very least...clear intents with actionable end goals that of course, bore lucrative opportunity for Tambor's organization.

Much akin to the man opposite of him, the implication of sentient life being spent in the interest of economics did little, if anything to phase Tambor. The more the man talked, the more thorough the proposals got and the more the scope widened. Upon the realization, Tambor motioned for the protocol droid on standby to bring him his datapad which he used to pen a few notes, seperated by each proposal accordingly as the man spoke.

Once he concluded, Tambor looked over his notes before speaking up.

<"AWEEEEEEEERRRRRRR - I thought it best to yield the floor, as it were and add my own thoughts regarding each proposal accordingly if that is sufficient means of discussion for you, Mister Imperius."> Tambor said, scrolling a gloved finger to the top of his notes as he spoke. Ever professional, ever courteous.

<"In regards to the Isotope-5 mining operation, I do often find that such crises are ample grounds for 'economic development' as it were. So long as it is done away from the prying eyes of any major galactic government, which is a trivial task in and of itself. It just so happens I've a man in mind for such operation."> He said, motioning for the protocol droid to set a holoprojector on the table between them to which Tambor selected through a few inputs on his datapad before it thrummed to life, projecting the image of a man Imperius found himself certainly familiar with.

The image was initially, the face of a man, half-cybernetic and half-organic, all but mangled and grotesque in the degree of disfiguration wrought upon him as a result of the most recent sacking of Coruscant. The very state in which Gat Tambor retrieved him from Dark Imperial custody and his file was documented in the Trade Federation's own database. The image then flicked to the guise Imperius might be most familiar with. Arminius Kroeger, his face held together and intact by a tight weave of duraweave fabric bandages. A third image projected, Kroeger's Imperial military identification that revealed the man's appearance before any damage had been done, far younger, at the rank of Second Lieutenant in the Imperial Army before administrative data was revealed. Species. Age. Prior affiliations and of course a note made of the man's ADEK0N NAN0GENE.

<"Mister Arminius Kroeger. A man who styles himself an 'Imperial Loyalist' as you would is suitable for the task. He commands a brigade-sized element of military personnel trained in a more rigorous brand of Imperial doctrine underneath the Techno Union private military contracting subsidiary 'Aurodium Sword'. He has experience in similar 'pacification' operations on the Techno Union's behalf, his success rate stemming from his resume in counter-insurgency operations on behalf of the Empire. I can send you his contact information following our meeting here. Once the conditions are set, a Trade Federation survey team will break ground and commence mining operations, the process taking no more than one Galactic week to initiate to achieve full extraction capacity. Droid labor will be used to increase output and minimize any 'alteration of the narrative'."> Tambor explained before the holoprojector powered off again and he flicked further down his notes.

<"Per your second proposal, a routine affair. One that can be discussed further in depth between the relevant personnel from both of our organizations. I can assign
'Troska Summit' signatories with the relevant expertise flagged with the assignment once it begins its official planning stages. Though I will iterate a detail of 'ACE' officials will accompany them. Any attempt to coerce them or alter their allegiance and they will be liquidated and our agreements nullified."> Tambor explained in a rather matter-of-fact manner, hardly even implying an innate distrust and more so his own protocols and procedures.

<"Per the matter of your 'Techwrights'...it would be wise not to remain solely dependent on domestic manufacturing in the interest of 'Autarky'."> He iterated, his gaze lifting from the datapad to more directly address the man.

<"Whilst there is 'comfort' in men such as yourself who hold a very 'domineering' approach to statecraft in not outsourcing the matters of economic planning, production and resource gathering to outside affiliations- you may very well find the results lacking, in several facets over time. Those who surround you in your direct circles will report not what you should hear but what you wish to hear. Now- I am not going to speak on the proficiency of your Techwrights, however, lack of competition often leads to complacency. There is no incentive to innovate and achieve if there is no consequences for failure in the form of competition. By all means, sustain your autarky as much as you have the means...but assuming your prospects lead you to claim dominion over worlds other than Zakuul, you will soon find each individial planetary system holds a plethora of economic, political and resource demands with each different from the last. I speak from the experience of my time on the Imperial Economic Board of Directors...a 'joint venture' can certainly be arranged regardless assuming it is lucrative and beneficial to both parties, which, I assume, you would only propose such if it was indeed."> Tambor said, scrolling further down his notes on the datapad.

<"In the topic of licensing, I shall offer the same proposal as I had the Imperial Commonwealth. I am willing offer such licenses however the production facility will be constructed under the oversight of Techno Union personnel who will then train and supervise those who would be employed at the facility until a word of confidence is sent back here. No compromises will be taken in quality assurance and liscensed facilities will be subject to random expections by the Techno Union no less than once quarterly. Any 'corners cut' in the production of Techno Union products will result in the production license being terminated and all production facilities liquidated."> He said in the same manner as he had everything else, as if enacting all that he said was a rather routine and procedural matter.

<"The Surplus is a different topic in and of itself. If you can commit to a bulk purchase of which the terms can be discussed with the relevant personnel, then a separate contract of exclusivity or a reserve order to pay for the rest of what is held in our stock over time can withhold it from public purchase, though a certain stock will be kept at Entralla for support to train your technicians in the proper preventative maintenance of the relevant products."> He explained.

<"And lastly...concerning the Unknown Regions- of which worlds do you see particular interest in prospecting for your future interests?">

Imperius returned the favor and let the Viceroy talk. He listened and made notes, his internal memory recording, marking and commenting on the information. It was probably not understandable to an outside organic-sentient how he could store and use information, how he could calculate and plan, organise and evaluate, how connected he was to data. Though if anyone could, it probably were tech magnates obsessed with technology and droids.

"I know Kroeger. A valid choice for the operation. I will have my staff draft the initial stages and transmit them to yours, once ready we will await my go for commencing." There was not much to add to this.

"My autarky and innovation is valuable to me, but that is not part of the discussion." He draws a datacron from a pocket and puts it on the table to their front. "This is the data of the Techwrights, all its public operations and businesses. There are parts of it that you will not find on there and that is intended. I am ready to proceed with mutual investments, maybe buying into stakes while in return receiving both business advice and direction that will include oversight and implementation. From there we can see what where you see prospects for closer partnerships and joint investments."

"Those terms are acceptable. I am serious on automation and the production lines I have, run mostly through droids, except for higher end engineers and mechanics. I expect that will be possible to be catered for?"

"I have no need for a bulk purchase right now, so I want to offer a counter-proposal. I will pay you a quarterly fee, for as long as our partnership endures, calculated by your corporation, which at this point withholds a percentage of your Imperial stock from public purchase. The fee of course determines the percentage and at the time of requiring a bulk purchase, I gain the right of priority to buy the percentage not covered and/or the exclusivity to ongoing production, at a usual bulk discount. You receive a stable income which benefits you the longer it runs and I have immediate access to the supplies when I need them."

"The Unknown Regions has planets unnumbered and unnamed. We have recently taken the Sanctuary system from some Jedi Lords and will push further. I would invite a team of your explorers, prospectors and engineers to accompany our advances and see for yourself. The Trade Federation could receive rights to what they find while I provide the framework for expansion and security."

He breezed past much of what the man said prior to the topic of 'mutual investments' and the nodded. <"Automated manufacturing processes are preferable. The production licenses will be accompanied by the procedural framework for contructing, functions-checking and maintaining all of the agreed upon products."> He iterated. Perhaps in contrast to what was the legacy of the Trade Federation, Tambor employed a great deal of sentient labor in his facilities. Though largely, it was a means of fostering economic growth by providing employment. Employment meant dependency and when the Trade Federation offered the housing and sold the living needs to those who worked in its facilities- the payroll went full circle whilst generating good will with the populace beneath the veil of its control and influence. More backwater worlds might grit their teeth at the arrival of the Trade Federation, but few were willing to bite the hand that feeds.

When Imperius made the proposal of the 'fee' to maintain a stream of Imperial surplus productions the way of his warlord faction, Tambor nodded, letting him finish the thought but seemed receptive to the idea.

<"An apt solutiot, Mister Imperius. One that allows for flexibility on both our parts will keeping an identical end-state. The relevant personnel will decide and negotiate exact figures following our meeting."> He said, the matter of exact percentiles, margins and numbered amounts a matter best left to those who said each respective party's finance desks.

To the mention of prospects in the Unknown Regions, Tambor nodded, a finger flicking through his datapad to a directory of the Trade Federation's index of information relating to the relevant planetary systems. The information was more sparse than Tambor cared for it to be, but in all fairness the region had largely been one hostile, dangerous and improfitable to explore. Though the scattering of the Brotherhood of the Maw and the Dark Empire left more fertile ground for opportunity.

<"I can detail a detachment of the relevant surveyors to the region should you be willing to house them in Zakuul. My organization would foot the bill in living expenses and accommodations. The Second Great Hyperspace War and now the rotting mess of the Galactic Alliance prodding into the region has made it...a rather unprofitable venture to prospect more thoroughly. However if your 'faction' or 'remnant' is embarking on extra-planetary excursions in the reason then my personnel can accompany them and detail their findings- should any reports yield results of which the Trade Federation deems worthy of exploitation, the relevant personnel between our organizations can discuss the means of resource extraction, likely in the form of a Trade Federation facility of which you are allocated part of its yield should it be in raw materiel extraction you would see use from, or an investment opportunity otherwise."> Tambor iterated.

<"Though...past the matters of economics, it does arise a particular inquiry if you would indulge my curiosity, Mister Imperius. I have been privy to the meteoric and violent arising of Empires past. With the vision you hold I've no doubt you will be brought into armed conflict with a myriad of different parties to sate your ambitions. Of whom within the Galaxy lie within your sights?">
He asked, lofting a brow.

Imperius considered the previous points to be concluded and its details to be delegated to those that would do the more specific negotiations. Not that he would not be part of it, remotely, but it was not necessary to overdo the basic agreements and deals with details that would bog down the talks for hours.

The Unknown Regions on the other hand were on Imperius' mind since the fall of the Maw and the end of the Dark Empire, when those arrogant fools like Onrai and Sularen refused to follow him and preferred to camp in the frontyard of the Alliance for bizarre reasons that were strategically worthless and almost sentimental.

"Zakuul will serve as base of operations for all expeditions, therefore specific districts and quarters will be made ready and available for those that are of civilian nature to reinforce and support the efforts to extract and expand our influence in the void. I have access to star maps and hyperlanes that pre-date the Sith Order and they will be utilised to navigate our expedition fleets forwards. The ancient Eternal Empire of Zakuul controlled vast swathes of space beyond what the Coreworlds know. We can use that space. I have already utilised it in the past, though on a much smaller scale."

He nodded with approval to the man's explanation. He'd not visited Zakuul in decades but it was a rather well kept world. One that would that suite well to provide the accomodations expected to the Trade Federation personnel of the status he would be sending to facilitate the operation. Not as if many in Tambor's organization didn't live in podunk, backwater outposts, mines and refineries spread across the Mid and Outer Rim.

<"AWWWERRRRRR- I am familiar with Zakuul. A perfectly suitable arrangement, Mister Imperius."> He said, setting the datapad aside.

<"Then I suppose this has been a brief but providential meeting. Though I find that is more often the case than not. No doubt our financial parties have a good deal of time ahead of them toiling over specific numbers and variables but these are hardly matters relevant to the two of us. The agreements we settled upon here will be officialized in proper record, the specific verbage of which will be penned by my clerks and sent to you via holonet where you may provide digital signature at your earliest convenience. Once you have done so, the pertinent personnel of my organization will get to work as soon as possible. "Very well. This is a satisfying start to this partnership. I did neither come here with the expectation nor hope to achieve a miniscule amount of it, I admit. My experiences with delegates of your conglomerate and my knowledge of its practices have been less than unfavorable. But I can see that it is not purely profit which drives you. And I can work with that."

Imperius stated dryly. He never cared much about perception and what effects honesty would have. In the right hands, truth was a weapon more sharp than the boldest lie. He lacked the comprehension and identification with the word pride to make it a weakness that most individuals could exploit.

"My parting words are aimed towards the future, Mister Tambor.
