Seat for Garn, Hold the Salt

[Rur Pradeux]

Rur was not a woman who did things halfway. When the government in place on Garn had decided to seek representation within the Republic, she was quick to heed their order to place their request before Senate. Which she felt would be more compelling to the Republic's Representatives if she did so in person. Because although only a minor factor, it was harder to respond negatively to someone who had gone out of their way to travel a far distance.

Yet it was a buildup of factors that led to increasing one's chances at success at anything. From the weather to the amount one rested to what they ate to even simply whether the atmosphere of the world they visited was dissimilar to their planet of origin's or not. However, Rur Pradeux wasn't simply relying on favorable factors.

No, she was also relying on her own charm and speaking ability as she waited patiently for the matter of Garn's representation to be addressed in the day's orders so she could be called out.

Ayumi sat there with a look from her pod, after some of the work they had been doing with [member="Cath Lorr"] and Suravi she was finding being a senator something worthwhile again. More then that there seemed to be a number of systems that wanted to join the senate which could mean something good was happening as she moved around with some of her attention. "Ohh this should be interesting." She remained in his senate duster with the form fitted outfit underneath while watching carefully.

Martika found himself sitting in on yet another membership request session. Seemed these were popping up every few moments these days. He took a seat at his pod with his aide at his side, taking notes on a series of communiques from representatives within the burgeoning Free Systems Coalition. He took to the podium and called the Assembly into session, then a quick roll was taken and Martika got straight to business.
"We are here to address the application for membership by the planet of Garn, and will now hear the appeal of its elected representative, Rur Pradeux. Representative Pradeux, the floor is yours." Martika cut his mic and awaited the woman's words.
