  • Illiterate: Part of the Warrior Caste, Scyre was never taught in more than basic functions and completely foreign to most technologies.

Skills: Very skilled swordsman, can easily identify which parts of the environment to use to his advantage, excellent agility
Notable Possessions: Vibroblade, the clothes on his back

Backstory: Born into one of the greater Rou families, Scyre was the youngest of many born to his family. Raised in the warrior caste, a lower caste, he had exceeded expectations set out by his trainers and was one of the few capable of passing the Rite of Pain -- killing a fellow student -- at the age of fifteen, the earliest acceptable by the many schools and academies located on their birth world. Loyal and undoubting, Scyre fiercely followed the commands of his superior without hesitation, a fact that lead to his death.

In his early teenage years, Scyre fell-in-love with his then childhood sweetheart, Anja Aj'Rou, one amongst the highest castes in their society and because marrying outside of ones caste was forbidden; this immature relationship was developed in caution and secrecy, never escaping the ears of trustworthy peers until one day his father -- of an elite caste himself -- had discovered this secret. Like any adult within The Primeval, this could not be allowed but to openly defy another greater Rou family was just about as terrible as blasphemy; so his father orchestrated Scyre into having his Rite of Pain be against Anja herself. The two unknowingly agreed to fight each other and for the first time his loyalty came into question but in the end he sought to kill his lover. This would be his downfall as the one he loved, fearing to kill, had struck him down in cold blood without a second's hesitation. His own feelings and his own loyalty had costed him his life. Thinking between obeying his order's and killing his lover was all the distraction Anja needed to quickly strike her opponent. Scyre's face was haunted by this very fact as the life of his last breath escaped in a pale torment, as if his soul drenched in murderous blood had sunk deep into darkness. For his once-upon-a-time lover, this was her great victory into adulthood and set her on the path to becoming the next Host Lord. Killing the son of a rival family was all the momentum needed.
