OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

 • Canon: N/A

 • Links: Anam
GENERAL INFORMATION

 • Name: Scriosar

 • Designation: Non-Sentient

 • Origins: Vanquo

 • Average Lifespan: 80-85 years

 • Estimated Population: Planetary

 • Description: Scriosar are quadrupeds, with disproportionately long limbs and digitigrade hind legs. They have long, horse-like heads, with black hair, long pointed ears, and seemingly glowing red eyes. On their hind legs, they have sharp, black, two-point hooves, while their front legs are more like arms. Instead of hooves, these limbs end in hand-like appendages with grotesque, unnaturally long, black fingers. The mouth of a Scriosar is large, but it’s only teeth are in the very front of its mouth. These teeth are razor sharp, and sit in 2 rows on the top and bottom.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION

 • Breathes: Type 1

 • Average Height of Adults: 2.74m

 • Average Length of Adults: 1.37m

 • Skin color: Sickly grey

 • Hair color: Black

 • Distinctions: Much like other species on Vanquo, the Scriosar evolved to be large, intimidating, and dangerous. Their long limbs look grotesque and unnatural, unnerving all who look upon them. Despite their size, Scriosar are quite fast when on all fours. Though they can stand on their hind legs, it is very uncomfortable, and is only done to reach into the higher branches of trees to reach prey.

 • Races: N/A

 • Force Sensitivity: Non-Sensitive
Strengths:

 • Dangerous: Scriosar, with their sharp claws, teeth, and fast running speed, make them capable hunters, and have killed many an unsuspecting hunter who was not watching their surroundings

 • Aggressive: These creatures live for the hunt, and most of their days are spent hunting, fighting, and eating smaller creatures, and sometimes even their own kind.

 • Tough hide: Thin though it may be, the Scriosar’s skin is resistant to slashing with a blade and scratches from claws

 • Tamable: Despite their aggressive and dangerous behaviors, the Scriosar are in fact tamable, however...
Weaknesses:

 • Instinctual: Scriosar have no capabilities to strategize, and run purely on instinct. The most they can do is avoid immediate danger that’s heading right for their face

 • Camouflage: Their grey skin and black hair stick out like a sore thumb in the forests of Vanquo, so stealth is not their strong suit

 • Thin hide: Though their skin is tough, it is thin. They are weak to the cold; stabs from a blade, claws, teeth, or horns; blasters; and lightsabers

 • Tamable: Their high levels aggressiveness make them only tamable through the Force, and if one does not keep focus? The Scriosar will instantly turn on them.
CULTURE

 • Diet: Carnivore

 • Communication: Horse-like whinys, body language, growls, and unnervingly human-like screams

 • Technology level: Does not exist

 • Religion/Beliefs: Only the strongest are fit to survive.

 • General behavior: Scriosar tend to be solitary creatures, living either by themselves, or with a mate. However, small packs have been found in the wild before, though they do not last long. Mostly due to infighting and murder. Those who find a mate, tend to mate for life… Or until their partner is too weak, then the stronger of the pair kills and eats their mate. Mates are able to reproduce every 2-3 years, due to a slow reproductive rate, and this usually results in only one child. For the first year, this child is raised with affection, and trained by its parents to be an apex predator. After this year, however, the parents will either abandon the child, or attempt to kill it.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Evolving on Vanquo, the Scriosar began as a smaller species when there were few other predators on the planet. As other, more dangerous, species began to evolve, the Scriosar grew bigger and more aggressive out of necessity to survive. When the Anam first settled on Vanquo 10,000 years ago, they were appalled by these creatures and gave them their common name in records that were found by miners after the Anam had left the planet.

Some Scriosar have also been tamed by another native species the Anam named “Cinn Dhorcha” as well, becoming mounts for those in their clans gifted with the Force.

So, are these guys just terrifying because it's October or is it just me haha? Vanquo is officially the home of the scariest pony-creatures I've ever read.

All jokes aside this is well done. Straight to the point, creative, with effective descriptions. The only thing I would ask would be to link "The Anam" somewhere in the sub. Even just under "Links" would be perfectly fine. Just tag when done and I'll get you on your way.
