A great voice of the quasi grunge/rock scene has passed. Stone Temple Pilots were one of my favorite bands in my teens, and Velvet Revolver were a short lived, but masterful combination (Scott's vocals and Slash's guitar skills were AMAZING)... Below is the article detailing what is known of his passing, and nothing yet appears to be confirmed as O.D. or suicide or anything nefarious, despite his past.
