Piezo-Electric Crystals

Durasteel

SPECIAL FEATURES

SSD Grade Main Power Plant using high grade Piezo-Electric Crystals and special Capacitors interacting with collected Solar Energy via the Heavy Solar Recovery System to hyper efficiently generate and store vast amounts of power, Like a gigantic, rechargable Lithium Battery. Does not require Hypermatter to function, though it is built to be fully recharged by limited amounts of Hypermatter at Drydock

Half the Size of Typical SSD Grade Ionization Reactors

Can recharge by basically having the Solar Recovery System it's paired with passively absorb sunlight from a nearby star.

Much Safer, More Stable Power Plant, and Far Easier to repair, able to be restored to minimal function even with limited resources in about four day's worth, with catastrophic failure not capable of destroying most of the ship unless the damage to it truly is severe with multiple, modern emergency redundancies to reduce the hazards of damaged systems it distributes power to, preventing overloads or shortcuts as necessary with special Surge Protectors. Also built to be rugged, and generally difficult to damage with sabotage

Fully charged, provides up to three years worth of power, even with all systems operating.

STRENGTHS

Full Batteries Worth: Despite being only half the size of a typical SSD Grade main power plant, it's fully capable of powering the ship for up to one year with all systems constantly running

Cost Efficient, Eco Friendly: Produces almost zero harmful byproducts

Safety First: Multiple modernized safety features and redundancies make it difficult to damage or sabotage, and any ship installed with this doesn't need to worry about a catastrophic failure destroying the vessel unless the damage truly is that bad

Redundant fueling: If there is no chance to refuel over a star, it can take in limited amounts of Hypermatter to fully refuel itself

Rapid Repair: Built to be restored to working condition with limited of minimal resources

WEAKNESSES

Gravity Swells: A severe enough gravity weapon can wreak havoc if it's strong enough

Recharge Vulnerability: Should the Recharging system it comes with take severe enough damage, it would translate to it affecting the plant severely

Hypermatter Vulnerability: If the hypermatter refueling process is sabotaged it could trigger a reaction that could destroy the whole ship.

DESCRIPTION

A revolution in SSD Reactors, this power plant is based on an earlier piece by its designers, massively upscaled to demonstrate Scion's prowess as premier ship builders and prove their capability at revolutionizing all Star or SSD sized vessels.

Love it but two issues.

SSD Grade Main Power Plant using high grade Piezo-Electric Crystals and special Capacitors interacting with collected Solar Energy via the Heavy Solar Recovery System to hyper efficiently generate and store vast amounts of power, Like a gigantic, rechargable Lithium Battery. Link is broken in this, can you fix it?

Can recharge by basically having the Solar Recovery System it's paired with passively absorb power from a nearby star.
Can this be worded differently? I know you mean by sunlight and so forth but...can you make it sound like that? So far when I read it, it makes me think the device literally absorbing the sun like a world devestator. Just please reword.

Let me know when you do this.
