SPECIAL FEATURES

• The blaster pistol possesses a pulse torrent mode, which feeds charges from an internal gravity capacitor, delivering a burst of stagger-force behind each bolt. When firing in this mode, the bolts not only damage on contact but they slam targets with additional kinetic pushback designed to break guards, stagger foes, and disrupt shielding tech - capable of causing flickering or partial collapse of energy barriers on impact.
• With ion-infused barrel lining, the bolts partially disrupt electronics on contact. It additionally can be switch to an ion firing mode, specifically useful for targeting droids, blinding HUDs, etc.
• Holding down the trigger charges a shot, releasing a spear-like piercing bolt that can punch through heavy plating.
• Each bolt is narrowed into a tighter cone via magnetic compression, making them harder to deflect by lightsaber due to a smaller surface area and sharper penetration.
• HUD integration lets Koda cycle fire modes, track cooldowns, and project arc trajectory mid-jump or mid-roll.

STRENGTHS

• The GSC1 fires faster than most blaster pistols, making it excellent for close-quarters dominance and overwhelming opponents with rapid pressure.
• Each bolt is condensed and accelerated with immense force, designed to punch through heavy armor and deliver trauma-inducing hits even through energy shielding.
• Every third shot builds up and releases a gravitic micro-shockwave, staggering enemies, disrupting armoured foes balance, or hurling unshielded foes backward.
• Can shift between semi-auto, burst fire, or rapid spike mode, which burns through a power cell to unload five bolts near-instantly.

WEAKNESSES

• Extended rapid fire builds heat fast. While it has short-term thermal dampeners, it can overheat if pushed too far without cooldown intervals.
• Optimized for close and mid-range combat; bolt speed helps, but accuracy and cohesion degrade over long distances, especially in burst fire.
• The internal gravitic and pulse systems require occasional recalibration. Damage or neglect can throw off alignment, reducing bolt stability or triggering misfires.

The SBR-9 was constructed with the intention of being a fast-firing and hard-hitting blaster designed to take on the Force-users that wield lightsabers. It hits hard enough to knock a lightsaber from someone's grip if they're not prepared, and the constant barrage of shots ensures it is an onslaught of blaster bolts coming their way. The additional force applied to each round is what adds that additional kick, capable of knocking someone clean off their feet.
