Say that Again? {Ivon}

A sigh pulled at her lips, begging to be released into the office's cold air. Mentally the Echani girl growled, upset by her tiredness. "C'mon! I've only been awake for 49 consecutive hours! That's nothing..." She snapped, fighting back a yawn. Continuing to mumble nonsense she sketched, working on a design for a solar-powered speeder. A gentlemen had recently come to her and asked to help him provide tools and vehicles for poorer worlds without them. To reduce the cost, and need of fuel, she had decided to make the machines powered by natural sources, such as solar energy.
The process had left her busy, and she didn't notice the time. In roughly three minutes she was supposed to meet with another man, who wanted to create something for the Republic to use. Naomi had agreed to assist with a little shrug, not caring much about politics. She built things for people who paid, not people she liked. There had never been a occasion where she had refused a client due to affiliation. And only twice had she denied someone due to the project being to difficult.
After all, she was not the type to give up on anything easily.

He was nervous. Palms sweaty, pace awkward and uneven, eyes looking around, watching every inch of the building. But unlike many would assume while watching him, he was not here for crimes, nor disturbances of any kind. Ivon Kaiber was here to inquire about constructing something that would help save many, many lives. Or at least that was the hope.

Taking a few deep breathes he continued walking, nearly at his contact's office. When he arrived he slowly raised his hand and knocked twice, opening the door slowly. The woman in front of him seemed very busy, and he momentarily considered stepping back outside and waiting. However he was two minutes late to the appointment... so knocking again on the doorframe he closed the door, sitting down in one of the chairs by the desk.

"Mizz Winzhest? Uh, it is your client. Ivon Kaiber?" He stuttered, accent think. Quietly he twiddled his thumbs, still as nervous as before. Luckily he had stopped shaking, and appeared calm on the outside. For a moment he looked around, inspecting the small room. It was neat, much neater then his apartment, and had very few decorations. Perhaps this Winchest woman was a tad OCD? Or simply had but a handful of possessions...

Pen danced quickly against paper, making line after line. Together the marks created an elaborate drawing, showing the inner workings of a speeder in full detail. Arrows pointed towards parts, explanations scribbled next to them. It was messy, but if one decoded the 'nonsense', they would find it to be rather... intellectual. Designing a vehicle like this one was not a simple task, but it was one that Naomi did well.

So well that at first she didn't even notice the man enter, as she was to fixated on her work. It was not until he spoke up that she realized he was there, and looked up with wide eyes. "Oh, Mr. Kaiber you're-... on time." She said, looking at the clock to discover he was not early, but a few minutes late. Blinking a few times she pushed up her glasses and returned her focus to Ivon.

"Er, welcome Ivon. If I remember correctly you wanted me to help you produce some goods? Just give me an idea of what you want, a budget, and any of details you feel are necessary." Naomi finished, going back to working on the blueprints. At the moment that was her main concern. Until she knew what the Republic Medic wanted, she wouldn't know which project to prioritize.

At first Ivon just blinked, partially surprised by the girl's reaction. Quietly he sat there, staring at Naomi. Eventually he managed to speak, voice soft, with a curious edge to it. "Yes. Ze Republic is a kind government, and within stands a certain... group. Zhey are focused on helping dose who cannot help zhemselves. Zhey need a less expensive way of supplying medical care to citizens of poor planets. No budget has been decided yet, but we have put aside a generous amount of credits." He said, blushing slightly. The doctor was worried that he did not supply enough information, and that he would be declined. Twiddling his thumbs he awaited a response, trying to think of anything else worth mentioning.
