Strengths ~
Agility (Shistavanen are able to run at high speeds for long periods of time, without tiring.)
Night Vision (Shistavanen have excellent vision in the dark, with near clarity.
Smell and Hearing (Shistavanen, being a predatorial species by nature, have an uncanny sense of smell and hearing, catching noises or scents from long distances)
Weaknesses ~
Prideful - Savil is a very proud person, taking no slights to himself from others. Because of this, he accepts nearly all challenges, and refuses to ask another for help.
Distrustful - Though it can be both a strength and a weakness, Savil has issues trusting other people. This is stemmed from the xenophobia of others toward his race, when he left his home planet.
SHIP:
Savil's ship, which is named 'Black Star' is a XS-800 Stock Light Freighter, which is mainly in it's default state. Not being very customized, as he had no need for such things. The painting of the outside of the ship is primarily black, though with a red/orange/yellow star on the top. Equipped with the standard torpedo launchers and laser batteries. It also holds upper and lateral laser turrets, but that's all for offensive power. The ship was used to get from one place to another quickly, which counts for the surprisingly powerful engines that the ship has.
BIOGRAPHY:
Savil was born and raised on Uvena Prime, in the Uvena system. He was born into a relatively small clan at the time, which was steadily dying off due to the warring with many of the other clans. His father was the leader of his clan, so it came as no surprise the high expectations that were given to Savil when he was born. Being the oldest of five other siblings, it would fall on him to take over once his father had passed on.
Growing up, he (along with his siblings) were trained in the art of warfare. The clan elders and his father would train the boys in hunting, hand to hand combat, and bladed weapons. The training grew quite severe as they grew older, and on more than one occasion he or one of the others ended up with life ending wounds, but were fortunate enough to survive, though scarred.
Being the center of attention from most of the elders and their father, Savil grew to be resented by several of his siblings, which came in the form of mocking or violence. They felt that they were being overlooked, and wondered why he should be in charge when their father died. Savil would stand up for himself in these occurrences, demanding that they show him the respect that he had always given them. They would fight, though Savil having been trained better would always win. It was unfortunate, that at the height of this tension his father was killed in battle with another clan. Now, the mantle had fallen on the shoulders of Savil, and his brothers hated him for it. They swore at him and three deserted the clan, leaving he and the other two behind.
Savil had been an excellent warrior, and tactician and he had managed to keep the clans at bay with clever ambushes or traps. Things were silent for some time, and it seemed as if the wars had ended. For several months, there was nothing and Savil allowed himself to be caught off guard. It came swiftly, sounds of screaming and clashing in the night. His brothers had returned, along with three of the other clans on Uvena Prime. The others had put aside their differences only for a moment, to destroy Savil and his clan before focusing on the others again.
The battles lasted for days, and within that time many on both sides were killed. After the brutal war between them, he had lost all of his family and many friends. He and the two brothers that stayed loyal to him had gone into combat with the other three. He alone came out alive, having killed his family and watched the others die. He tried to save them, but he couldn't. The other clans had decided that they had suffered too many casualties and retreated, leaving Savil's clan nearly completely decimated.
After that, he couldn't stay on his planet anymore. He felt solely responsible for the death of his clan, and left the elders to decide what they thought were best. He found his way on a freighter that was trading, and went from planet to planet, working as a bodyguard to the traders at first. Doing so, he had a place to say, food in his stomach and credits in his pocket. It took time, but he saved enough to get himself a ship and weapons enough to leave on his own. That was when he began his life as a bounty hunter.
He was in a tavern, when he heard news of a man who owed a gambling debt to some people. Apparently, the man had taken off into hiding and was refusing to pay. He couldn't say why, but he decided to take care of their problem for them. He found where where the man had been hiding out and captured him alive, bringing him to the people he owed money to. They paid him a substantial amount, and he realized that he could make quite a bit doing this for a living.
Bringing him to where he is today, starting up his own organization of Bounty Hunters. He had heard that in the past there had been an organization similar to what he was doing, and he enjoyed the thought of it. Though, the organization was strict on the rules. While Bounty Hunters had an unwritten creed of what was right and wrong, he decided he would make those the rules that others would live by while in his organization. And that, as they say, is that.
