Description:
This lightsaber was created by the Dark Acolyte Savage Oppress in his tutelage under Count Dooku, also known as Darth Tyranus. It is a double bladed lightsaber that greatly resembles the one created by Oppress’ brother, the Sith Lord Maul, save for two emitter guards not unlike those on Dooku’s. The saber was employed in the monstrous Zabrak’s reign of terror, first as a champion for the Separatists, then as the apprentice of his brother.
It was on Mandalore that this weapon was last used. Viewing Mail and Savage as rivals, Darth Sidious confronted the brothers during the twilight years of the Clone Wars. Though the two fought valiantly against the man who became Emperor, Palpatine slew Oppress and later dealt with Maul for his insolence. Savage’s remains and the lightsaber were late retrieved by the remaining Nightbrother clan, being entombed on Dathomir for these past centuries.
Strengths:
Twice as Deadly- The weapon has two blades as opposed to a single blade of a standard lightsaber, allowing for quicker strikes and making it more work for opponents to track two blades rather than one.
Weaknesses:
Right down the middle- Due to the weapon's longer hilt, there is a stronger possibility of it being struck in middle by an opponent's lightsaber and making it unusable as intended.
