SPECIAL FEATURES
  • The Sarlacc armor is imbued with the force and attuned to Sinn Shak, increasing the way the two interact and the armors overall durability, including it’s resistance to force based manipulations or attacks.
  • Equipped with over a dozen hidden steel and cortosis balls attached to long grappling lines that are designed to be effectively used in conjunction with his powers, but can be retracted by the armor and may double as grappling lines depending on the situation.
  • Environmental armor: As a Selkath, some environments can be too dry. It is fitted with a misting vent, but was chosen to have additional resistances to environmental factors, including some tolerance for the vacuum of space, limited oxygen supply, and a rebreather.
  • Cortosis fibers: The cortosis interwoven into the armor increases its resistance to most energy weaponry, including lightsabers, making it an effective defense against most common weaponry.
  • Features several pouches and latches, some hidden and some not, that allow more equipment to be easily held.
  • Added equipment: Electrobinoculars, bio-restorative layer for somewhat quickened healing, holoprojector built into chest, Heads up display, Comm Unit built in, Jammer
STRENGTHS
  • Very effective against energy based weapons like lightsabers and blasters.
  • Attuned in the force to work even better with Sinn Shak and have a higher tolerance to force based attacks, and imbued to strengthen its abilities.
  • Environmentally capable.
  • Equipped with various technologies or tools convenient for Sinn.
WEAKNESSES
  • A few or a strong emp or ION weapon could disable the electronics used in the equipment. The Electrobinoculars, jammer, and comms would be the first to go down.
  • Sonic weaponry stands a better chance at damaging the user as it gets past armor much easier.
  • While it works in a vacuum it is not designed for long term use, nor does it have many added movement options.
DESCRIPTION
Sinn’s Sarlacc armor was primarily made to compliment the usage of Balistikinesis in alternative ways. While the steel and cortosis balls are still effective for lethal options, their cables could be used to draw them back quickly, or as an alternative to a grappling hook. However at the same time they provide Sinn greater accuracy and control being more attuned to him, and thus allow him to far more easily entrap an individual target or object. Outside of this, the armor is made as a high durability environmental armor, able to function in most conditions as well as being equipped with a variety of technologies for convenience like a HUD and jammer system.

Although appearing bulky, much of of it is actually the suits misting system and environmental applications, making it lighter than it might seem. And much like the lightsaber of a jedi might be considered to be attuned to them, the armor of Sinn is attuned to him, creating a dynamic between the two that allows them to be effectively utilized more efficiently together. Much importance is placed on ones armor in the Jensaarai and Sinn wanted one that he felt had noticeable similarities to them. To him, the Sarlaac had the strategy that most fit with them. To appear as something simple, until there was something within reach. As a Selkath, it would be no surprise to see them wearing environmental armor. And up until the use of the steel and cortosis balls and cables, one might assume it is just another set of armor. The use of these balls he felt also most fit with the usage of their abilities, while maintaining an easier route for non-lethal methods should he choose to do so.
