Sargon's Chosen with Sargon's Few True Believers

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Organization Name: Sargon's Few
  • Classification: Crime Organization, Religious Cult, Covenant
  • Affiliation: The Primeval Resurgence, Darkwire
  • Organization Symbol:
    EYv2ChP.png
  • Description: Sargon's Few is a religious cult dedicated to the four primary deities of the Primeval Faith, reinvigorated by the return of a prominent Prophet of Balagoth, and lead primarily by a newly fabricated Prophet of Sargon who goes by the personal title, of Sargon's Chosen. The cult, however, has found its hands digging deep into corporate and criminal pockets in order to expand its membership, and its influence over Denon, and the surrounding worlds under its authority. Though it has extended beyond the reach of Denon's Corporate Authority, it aspires for galactic outreach by forming relationships with sister cults across the galaxy dedicated to the Primeval Faith.
GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
  • Headquarters: Denon, Primordia
  • Domain: The Criminal Cult often finds refuge and influence within the Volgho Hollows and Suicide Slums of the Seven Corners District, taking advantage of the impoverished state of the populace there makes it an excellent recruiting grounds for new faithful, and the Hollows makes a good hideout for these religiously inclined scum. Their reach extends into other corners of the District and beyond, but you won't find a stronger presence than in these two places. They have multiple outreach projects on newly acquired corporate worlds such as Belazura or Devoran, but Denon remains the primary hotspot of Sargon's Few activities. The executives of the organization though often make pilgrimages to the secret world of Primordia in order to receive their religious orders and receive resources from powerful members of the faith.
  • Notable Assets: Sargon's Few makes a home out of a number of warehouses in Volgho Hollows that serve as congregation points and places to stockpile weapons and Primeval memorabilia. A number of abandoned buildings in Suicide Slums serves a similar purpose.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Hierarchy:
    • Zambrano the Starweird Zambrano the Starweird is the current Host Lord and Prophet of Balagoth for the Primeval, and they technically answer to any religious decrees it makes
    • Sargon's Chosen is a Prophet of Sargon that has taken residence on Denon, and helped to establish Sargon's Few alongside an entity known as the Darkwire Cultist.
    • Darkwire Cultist is a mysterious benefactor of Sargon's Few that works closely with the Darkwire organization.
    • True Believers are the members that have undergone ritual scarification as proof of faith and taken a pilgrimage to Primordia
    • Fledglings are those that have either given aid to the cult, or received some benefit from them, and may overtly support them but have not undergone the ritual or pilgrimage.
  • Membership: Though its hard to say exactly how many members this nomadic and often secretive criminal cult possess, it at least possesses a hundred "true believers", and perhaps anywhere from two hundred to a thousand "fledglings" that have yet to prove faith but have received some benefit or provided some aid to the cult. True believers swear total fealty to the Primeval Gods and their Prophets and have undergone both a scarring ritual and a pilgrimage to Primordia. Most members of Sargon's Few though are considered fledglings that have done neither and thus aren't "true members" but are considered to be under their protection or influence.
  • Climate: It is a cult, treating their every action as a divine step towards a higher calling, they are a very serious group and largely hostile to the overt faithless, but welcoming to those left unsure of their own faith and the downtrodden. The overt faithless though may find themselves kidnapped and repeatedly tortured until they accept a higher power exists. They are incredibly hostile to rival faith, and persecute them more harshly than the faithless, kidnapping them and repeatedly torturing them until they renounce their infidel faith.
  • Reputation: They are considered mysterious, dangerous, and also generous to the poor in particular.
  • Curios: Scarification, holy symbols/trinkets, holy books
  • Rules: The Primeval Faith dictates the organization's conduct mostly by having followers defer to the judgment of Prophetic Decrees by either Sargon's Chosen or the Host Lord Zambrano the Starwierd, Prophet of Balagoth.
  • Goals: The Primary goals of Sargon's Few on Denon, is uplifting the downtrodden and poor of Suicide Slums to the True Faith, and gaining profit from corporate and criminal prospects to support the larger Primeval organization, to fund sister cults across the galaxy in expanding the influence of the Primeval Faith.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

It isn't clear of when they found their presence so large on Denon, but it is likely attributed to the return of Zambrano the Starwierd, calling upon all the faithful of the galaxy to answer its summons. Suddenly, a number of gangs began to demonstrate their obscure faith on Denon, and declaring "holy gang war" on rivals, expanding their numbers and their religious undertones increased with them. Then, Sargon's Chosen appeared seemingly from nowhere along with Darkwire Cultist, and forged a path of unity for these different gangs, until the Prophet of Sargon officially united these criminal organizations under the new banner of Sargon's Few.

They now find their influence reaching to new worlds under the control of the Denon Corporate Authorities...
