  • Material:
    Components
  • Hardlight Projector
  • Scanners

SPECIAL FEATURES

Strengths:
  • Disguiser: Using hardlight projectors it can appear as larger ships complete with a false scanner presentation. (example a 5km carrier disguising itself as a true SSD with all scans saying they are but in practice not going to be able to do much beyond look scary)
  • Decoy: A secondary idea but never the less important, the ability to make it seem like there are more of them. A small patrol group can look like they are a larger fleet for example
Weaknesses:
  • Size: While it can project a larger ship it can't make a starfighter appear as a star destroyer. Average is three sizes larger.
  • Trickster: While it can work and make things apear some way, it doesn't actually make them larger or stronger. THe ships once engaged will pretty much be revealed as smaller then they really are
  • Attack Strength: There is no real power added to the ship and if anything using the disguiser will draw power from the weapons and shields to make it more vulnerable
DESCRIPTION
Designed to be a standard countermeasure for Saotome ships and vehicles. Using their hardlight decoy and a steady power source a projection of just about anything you want can be done. In the case of a small ship, make it appear as a larger ship that most wouldn't want to fight against. Built in sensor decoys within the system can make it seem like the ship is everything you need. The capabilities of the trickster to make the ship appear larger or to project a secondary ship... or squadron of smaller ships is mostly cosmetic. It isn't going to do a whole lot to improve attack power of a fleet but it will work to intimidate and make others think twice.
