Interlocking: Designed with capabilities of the Jericho the ships front and back can interlock to work on creating a wall and reinforcing ground troops
Weaknesses:
Low Grade Weapons: Designed as a massive carrier that can hold a large amount of ships and equipment while protecting with a massive wall of point defense and anti fighter weapons. It lacks capital grade weapons despite its size making it largely ineffective against ships of its size or larger

Performance Booster: Designed for small bursts of speed that can be used, its capabilities to turn become severely reduced to almost being non existent

Description: Designed as a Saotome hybrid of the carrier and the Jericho class, the new carrier functions much like the original being only larger. With more of a size and ompensating in places where some fo the others failed or were underwhelming. The larger size works to its advantage allowing the ship to hold more ships for different purposes and transport of equipment or fighters. THe interlocking functions and ability to land on a planet returns to give the massive ship a chance to cover more of an area with a larger armored wall that has weapon emplacements to defend it. The main trade offs for the ship to get its larger hanger with a variety of ships is the speed of its engines and overall its weapons. All power being diverted to beef it up instead of to engines and weapons. No turbolasers to speak of but it has more then enough in terms of anti star fighter weapons that can easily double for being used to defend against ground forces. Its slow speed can be minorly aided with a booster but it will not function forever and generally once in placeit doesn't move.

edited the numbers somewhat, as it does not use capital weapons and is just a slug in space. I would like to trade the capital weapons for just more anti fighter weapons

The latter half of this weakness doesn't make any sense ("half the size of most capital ships and moving as they do") - your ship is 2000 meters long, that's an incredibly large ship. That being said, your ship is not slow by any means; it has a booster which increases its speed from low to moderate, which means it's faster than the average cruiser with it activated.

If you want to list your maneuverability as a weakness, as it only gets worse with the booster being activated, that would be fine, but your booster entirely negates your weakness which defeats the purpose of listing it as a weakness - especially because this booster needs to be listed as a strength.


All in all, your ship has:
  • Moderate (above average) armaments
  • Moderate (above average) defenses
  • Very high (10) squadrons in your hangar
  • Low but capable of shifting to moderate (above average) speed
  • Low but capable of shifting to very low (with your booster) maneuverability.

Both of these are above what would be considered average. Average defenses are stuff like standard shields and other standard defenses. With both of these special features you would be looking at High defensive ratings due to having redundant (double) shields and a booster for those shields. You can remove one of these and increase it to moderate without any need to alter other ratings, but if you'd prefer to keep both the rating will need to change to high and you will need to balance it out by reducing something else such as the hangar.
