Sanity Seems Counter-Productive

While he wandered to locate Kalyn. Helios worked on designing a make shift place. Along his waist. That would be suitable to hold his hilts. Until he could craft an actual belt and sheath for them. Helios looked around the areas. He would assume Kalyn would spend to pass time. Occassionally running across Seth as he rested. Finally, Helios made his way silently to the cock pit.

Helios observed Kalyn when he noticed her. Staying as quiet as possible. He walked over to her and softly placed a kiss on her forehead. "I am done.." Helios informed her silently. That way if she was asleep she could remain resting. Helios walked to the co-pilot chair and sat down. Like he promised Helios didn't draw his weapons to mess around with them. Now wasn't the time to test them out on anything.

Helios let out a yawn and closed his own eyes. Simply wanting to rest after the task of making the lightsabers. It was a long time since he had rested just for the sake of resting. At least it felt that way to him. He hoped Kalyn was okau that it took him awhile. He did his best to remain both careful, and manage time well. Though supposed he fell short on the second end.

She felt Helios's presence in the room, still not entirely awake but then felt the soft kiss on her forehead, followed by Helios informing her he was done. She mumbled something, they weren't inherently recognisable words, as her eyes cracked open. She yawned and stretched before spinning her chair towards the co-pilots chair, where [member="Helios Venth"] was sitting. She smiled sleepily at him, still not fully awake and aware. "That's great!" She said, happy that Helios had accomplished his task.

She rubbed her eyes once more before she was completely awake, "Can I see?" She asked, curious to know how it had turned out.

Helios yawned a little. Before looking over and noticing her come to life. He smiled a little tiredly. Listening to how she was glad the task was completed. Helios nodded his head in quiet agreement. It took a moment longer before she asked to inspect them. Helios thought only for a second. Whether or not he should show them. After all he had sort of borrowed her lightsaber without permission before.

Helios used the force to lift the weapons out of their make shift places. Quietly focusing as he turned the business end towards himself. That way it wouldn't hurt Kalyn if they were activated. Helios hovered the blades in front of her. Waiting patiently for her to take them. He didn't have a problem with her holding them.

Helios relaxed back and hummed. "We will need to head back to Commenor... Then I probably should report to my superior. Will we have some down time before you leave?" Helios asked Kalyn and looked to her. He knew sooner or later she would be called by her order. When the exact timing of such an event was. He knew not exactly. Though while Kalyn went to the jedi order. Helios would be busy with his own events.

Kalyn watched and stood as the blades came hovering over to her, she reached out and took them each in her hand. She looked at the hilt and the way it'd been constructed, it was a simple but pleasing design. Each hilt looking identical to the other, which was necessary in this case, due to the interlocking mechanism. If they were different they wouldn't be able to work properly and fluidly. She was impressed, the time it took to construct the weapon was worth the outcome. Also impressed with the fact Helios didn't have a mentor at all in ways to help him construct his lightsaber.

She then started to inspect the interlocking mechanism, never seeing one up close before, due to not knowing anyone with this specific type of style of lightsaber. It was quite fascinating to her how two of the most powerful weapons in the universe could come together like that, she found it very creative and strayed away from the traditional single bladed lightsaber. "You've done really well Helios." She said as she held the weapons back out to him, "They're constructed very precisely and carefully."

"I'll set a course for Commenor now." She replied to him as she began to press buttons and turn dials on the navigation panel. She looked back to him when he asked about having downtime, "Of course we will." She replied, "I mean I know the Order will call back for me, but it won't be as soon as we land back on Commenor." She assured him.

Helios smiled, pleased at the compliments Kalyn offered him. Then took his lightsabers back carefully. Placing them back where he designated a holding place. Till he could get a more appropriate robe, and manner to hold his weapons. He might be able to request assistance from Commenor's leader in the matter. She was a fair lady for the most part. Helios nodded as Kalyn spoke about what would occur. He would enjoy some down time with her. Sure, travelling had been nice, and they accomplished quite a bit doing so. Though there needed to be time for relaxing as well.

Helios looked to the navigation system. His fingers twitching a little. He was a bit excited at the return to home. He wasn't sure what landed him on Commenor. Though no matter what it was. He knew the planet was his home. He had duties and obligations to the planet. So, he was eager to return. Plus, the lightsabers would dissuade some of the hostile encounters he might have. Though he would need to also remain discreet. Some time away probably helped with that.

Helios also needed to look into that dream... It had a purpose, and would lead him to a higher purpose. There was ways to serve multiple loyalties, without crossing any one of them. Especially orders with similar interests in mind. Helios looked to Kalyn and smiled some. She was his only concern. She wouldn't be overly content with him joining an order that opposed her's. Though it could work out to their advantage. He could keep her safer in a way. "Kalyn." Helios spoke in a gentle tone.

the ships engines started to roar to life as she pressed a few more buttons to stabilise the shuttle. Soon they were hovering off the ground and flew out the atmosphere of Dantooine. Once out of the planets atmosphere she pressed a few more buttons in order to put the ship into hyperdrive. Soon enough the star around them turned into white streaks as the ship took off.

"We'll be back on Commenor soon." She said to [member="Helios Venth"] . She leaned back in the chair, letting the ship fly itself into Commenor's atmosphere. She looked back to Helios when he said her name, wondering what it was he wanted to talk about, "Yeh?" She replied.

He thought a moment. Before he smiled a little. "Stay still, and try not to resist." Helios spoke calmly. Giving Kalyn a moment to relax. He wanted her a little closer for their chat. He reached out and focused. Before attempting to use the force to pick Kalyn up. Then move her over towards him. Where he intended to catch her and hold onto her while they talked. With the ship on auto pilot. Helios didn't see the harm in them relaxing together. Especially with the pilot seat a few steps away, and co-pilot controls in front of him.

Helios waited a bit after the time it would take to move Kalyn. Before he considered how to express things. He decided to give a hint of his past, and move to the point. "Because I had a versatile mindset. With unfavorable family connections. I killed my family when I was six years old. Burnt them, and the home. With everything inside to the ground. Not long after the jedi order found me. Took me in and tried to help me, I suppose." Helios spoke and considered things. "Not long after that. They decided that my mind and their code were polar opposites most of the time. So, they chose to abandon me, andet the force decide if I lived or not." Helios calmly explained and hummed. "My travels lead me eventually to Commenor, and eventually in service to it's leader." He acknowledged and smiled. "Then of course threw us together to see what would happen."

Helios paused a moment and glanced around. As, he twitched a little nervously. Then loomed back to her. "I had a vision of an order. A group of darksiders. Whom, I believe I would fit better amoungst. I wouldn't harm you of course. I would do my best to avoid confrontation with your order. Though I believe I am meant to go to them. Where I can gain teachings from somebody other then myself." He explained and hummed softly. Waiting patiently for [member="Kalyn Tyree"] to place in her share in regards to things.

She leaned forward resting her elbows on her knees as she waited patiently for Helios to talk to her about whatever was currently on his mind. Though an eyebrow quirked up slightly in confusion when he told her to stay still and to not resist. Resist what? "Huh, Helios what're you talking about?" She asked as he seemingly appeared to be concentrating. She decided to keep quiet for now, leaning back and sitting up straight, relaxing. Awaiting whatever it was [member="Helios Venth"] was about to do. Her brows furrowed before a moment later she was lifted into the air, only hovering above the chair she once sat on. Her eyes widened slightly as she was startled by the sudden action, out of instinct her hands went out as if she was trying to balance herself, but brought them back to herself as she realised no matter what she did Helios was the one in control at the moment as he was the one using the Force. Soon enough she ended up with Helios, no problems encountered. She smiled up at him as she was now closer to him.

Helios looked as though he didn't know how to start the conversation but nevertheless managed to a moment later. She listened as he began to speak about his past and later his rather short time spent with the Jedi Order. Her expression changed to one of sympathy and sadness, hearing about how he'd grown up with a family that didn't understand him, and in turn, caused the outcome Helios had told her, leaving him with no family, at 6 years of age. She then lightened up, not happy, just content, when she heard him speak of the Order taking him in. Everything he was saying matched what she had known and been told about the Order. Except when he told her they abandoned him due to his mindset. She'd never heard of anything like that before. She'd grown up believing the Jedi were the understanding, all knowing, protectors. Of everyone in need of protection. She smiled though when he finished with the Force throwing the two of them together to see what would happen.

She kept the smile as he continued by talking about a vision he'd had of an Order, her interest and curiosity spiking slightly. Though her smile instantly dropped when he informed her they were Darksiders, believing he'd fit with them. Her brows knotted together as she tried to process everything. "Wait you-..you want to join the Sith?" She asked, her tone unintentionally sounding accusing. "Helios, they're conquerors, and murderers. They torture and kill the innocent." She added.

He winced some as she snapped at him. Fidgeting a little as she spoke. Helios hand twitched as he attempted to discover a manner he could address her concerns. Without getting angry at being accused. "They are not Sith... Exactly. They are darksiders though. Besides, what do you think I did half the time? Sure, I have made improvement. A lot of it because of you. I would like to hope. Though if I recall our first meeting wasn't me offering a friendly hand." he spoke and fidgeted some as he positioned her in a more comfortable position. Quietly placing a kiss on her forehead softly. "If you believe, I would make a choice like this out of spite. You are incredibly mistaken. You have helped me try to work. To making choices some what more rational. Opposed to killing everything that would pose a threat or inconvinience to me." He spoke and frowned some.

He closed his eyes and breathed in. "I was hoping you would at least be open minded. To at least think through my decision. If I was joining the Sith. I would state I was joining the Sith. I was merely informing you. That I believed a group of darksiders, was whom I am meant to take training from." he finished and looked to her. Waiting to see if she would at least look at it open minded.

She looked slightly confused when he stated they were not Sith yet still Darksiders. Thinking about it she understood how one could use the dark sides of the Force while still not causing harm to any civilian. The Dark side of the Force was merely a path that tempted Jedi to the Sith ways which was why it was advised against and at any cost avoided. Though those who use it aren't necessarily 'evil'. She looked back up to him as he placed a kiss on her forehead. She didn't think Helios was doing this out of spite though. Her sudden snap was only because of the fact she was worried for Helios. She was concerned whether or not this was the right path for him. What he'd said was true though, self-teaching can only go so far. And Kalyn had limited knowledge to offer him as she was still a padawan herself. Finding a Master would be the best course of action for Helios to better understand the Force and use his abilities to the fullest. But did it have to be a Darksider?

She was aware of the fact that Helios already tread on the Darkside of the Force using various Darksider techniques. Perhaps it was her Jedi background which was making it difficult for her to accept what Helios was telling her. She'd grown up, since being rescued from the slave trade, being taught that the darkside was forbidden, strongly advised against and that Sith were nothing but bad.

She wanted what was best for Helios. Her concern for him and desire for him to learn to the fullest regarding his Force abilities, and her Jedi upbringing were clashing with how she would respond to this. She knew Helios was mentally unstable, she didn't treat or see him differently due to this. However she had noticed him change from their first encounter to the present day. He'd grown more stable, learnt to control his rage, which Kalyn thought was good, for him and everyone around him. She feared letting him follow these Darksiders would corrupt him even more, fearing he'd lose himself entirely.

She looked back towards him as he spoke about how he wished she'd been more open minded about the topic. She looked down feeling guilty. She didn't mean to snap at him so accusingly, she was just frightened. "Helios, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snap." She looked back up to him, "I just...I want to make sure you're ok, these Darksiders, you don't know them, I don't either. I don't know what we're dealing with." She thought again about the whole situation. Helios had had a vision and most of the time, if not, always, they meant something, symbolised something. If Helios was meant to train with these Darksiders she didn't want to be the reason for stopping him reach his full potential.

Helios let some tension out and listened. Unsure how to exactly respond verbally to Kalyn. Helios wanted to make sure she understood. He had the best of intentions from his selection. Helios turned Kalyn so she was fully facing him. Looking down to her eyes with a soft expression. He needed a manner to both express. As well as center his thoughts. Kalyn in conflict, made Helios display a bit of conflict. The ship shook a little as if though verifying the statement. He smiled some to Kalyn. "You will always be a light, I can look upon." Helios meant his statement in several manners.

He placed his hand to softly tip her chin up. Then moved it up to her cheek, softly stroking his thumb along it. He took a moment. Before he leaned in and initiated a passionate kiss. Wishing to display a promise he would do no harm, by working with these people. No matter how deep down the dark side he might delve. The darkside was merely one half of the coin. Helios still had the ability to choose how he used the knowledge. Plus, Helios wouldn't wish to loose Kalyn. Just as Kalyn was concerned for him. So, He used the kiss to express this. As well as offer a place for his mind to get lost, so he could reset it.

Helios barely parted the kiss after a moment. Taking a moment to catch his breath. Looking to Kalyn curiously. Asking silently with his eyes if she was content with where the kiss was. Either that or if she wished to test taking things a little further. "Does that convince you, I mean well?" he also softly asked. Looming to her eyes and smiling a bit. Even a hint of a blush touching his cheeks as he spoke that.

Now facing him she smiled as he spoke, kissing his cheek after what he'd said. Perhaps she was overreacting, Helios hadn't even joined the Darksiders yet and she was already freaking out about the possible outcomes from his choice. She needed to be able to relax and let this pan out and only intervene if things evidently got out of hand. She'd let Helios choose this path, learn from the Darksiders. But if she deemed it wasn't helping him as much as it was harming him she would step in and intervene. But until a legitimate sign of that showed itself she would have to be content with the fact that Helios was going to learn everything from this point onward from those Darksiders.

She looked up at him as he tilted her chin upwards, stroking her cheek afterwards. She smiled as that same feeling started rise in her, taking a pretty good guess at what was going to happen next. She couldn't fight the small smile that played on her lips, a second later Helios' own lips were on her own. Her hand crept around and rested on the back of his neck. All her worries and concerns flew out the door once they'd initiated the kiss. Every time it happened it was as if she had no worries in the universe not a single care.

She felt Helios pull away slightly and stopped as well, leaning her forehead on his own. Her eyes flicked up to him once again when he spoke, asking her if this convinced her that he meant well. She smiled some. It'd be ok. "Yes, it does." She replied before she leaned back in and kissed him once again.
