Sanity Seems Counter-Productive

Helios found himself back at a local Commenor trade port. Which had caused him a hint of misfortune, though also paved his future for him amoungst the world. He had obligations here he intended to keep loyal to. Especially in Chasin City. Where he was sure a certain individual was keeping tabs on him for some reason or another. Probably to be sure he didn't assualt any more business men. He still held claim that it was justly deserved! After all, Helios couldn't stand for children being harmed. His own past having a lot to do with the personality trait.

Helios was unarmed at the time. Not that he needed weapons or armor. He was a formidable opponent even without full training in the force, or a lightsaber on himself. His journey as an outcast caused him to pick up on various forms of martial arts, and he was partifularly handy at nerve strikes and joint manipulation. To end fights relatively quickly and as painfully, or painlessly as he pleased. That and where hand-to-hand was an unlikely approach. He always loved a good kill it with fire routine. Another trait that was born out of his abusive youth.

Helios quietly wandered along the alleys. As a few people who remembered his last incident shied away from him. Not wiwhing to cause something that would set of.. His primitive and manic mindset. Unfortunately, today was a rather sane day on his behalf. Helios was even about to pick up a tea shipment. As he was in such a content mood.

Then things went down hill. Helios heard a commotion, frowned as he proceeded to investigate. A little buzzing in the back of his mind. Be it the force, or be it his insanity. Had the general notion. That by investigating. Helios was about to partake in some irrational, and impulsive activity. Though, commotion always drew his attention, and so his curiosity had to be sedated! When Helios arrived at the originof the commotion. He surveyed the scene and frowned deeply.

Kalyn had been sent to Commenor for some Jedi business. After some other Jedi's had dealt with a few bounty hunters and mercenaries they seemed to be wielding very high end weaponry, the fugitives had claimed they got a few shipments from the Trade system down on Commenor. Kalyn was given the mission to scope out the Trade system there and find whether or not the criminals were telling the truth.

She had a gut feeling that the bounty hunters and mercenaries had lied just the get the Jedi off their back. Commenor wasn't known for it's hostility or link to any underbelly crime. In her personal opinion this was a waste of time, they should be getting the real answer out of those criminals rather than wasting time here on Commenor. Nevertheless Kalyn had been given a mission and she was going to complete it, whether she agreed with it or not.

She walked through the crowds, her cloak hiding her saber so as to not stand out or draw any attention to herself. She was nearing the Trade section as she heard the natives calling out to each other, moving boxes, checking items off. Regular trade activities, there was nothing out of the ordinary.

She debated whether to talk to one of the workers here who knew what was going on down here or to snoop around and do her own investigation. If she went off on her own there was the possibility of getting caught. Then again if she asked to investigate and look around the place and was declined permission she wouldn't be able to complete her mission and would have to sneak in anyway.

She rolled her eyes at herself for being so indecisive and decided to conduct her own investigation. She poked her head around the corner to see if anyone was looking towards the entrance, it was clear. She made a break for it and got in, hiding behind a tall structure.

She then looked to her right and saw a few workers slowly walking her way, she quietly and swiftly moved around the structure she hid behind so that she wouldn't be seen. She looked to her left and noticed a few boxes stacked on one another. She crept up to them and opened one looking inside to see any evidence of weaponry. The lid of the box separated only to reveal some ceramics for purchase, Kalyn sighed not finding what she was looking for.

"HEY! You there! What do you think you're doing!!" A loud voice snapped Kalyn out of her disappointment. She spun around, still on the ground, turning towards the voice. "It's ok I'm a je-" Kalyn reached for her cloak to reveal the lightsaber on her belt to prove she was a Jedi, but was cut off. "She's a Sith!" Another voice yelled out, assuming the worst as Kalyn appeared to be going for her weapon.

Kalyn took a step back, "No, I'm not here to harm you." She said, trying to calm everyone down, but by now everyone had gone berserk.

Helios watched [member="Kalyn Tyree"] had revealed her lightsaber. ~Oh goody, another force user!~ Helios cynical side chirpped cheerfully. Though Helios himself was more then displeased. Unlike most of the panic struck people. Helios was able to catflch the woman start to say she was a Je... Most likely jedi and if the girl knew what was best for her. She wouldn't make such declarations. A dark force user was a queen of this planet after all! Helios would know... He had ket the woman. She was a strict individual, though not wholly cruel or evil.

Helios decided to blend. His cynical side appeased as Helios in his worn robes. Acted like a paniced civilian. Though his actions appeared random... And himself wasn't even aware his intentions. He drew up closer to the woman with the lightsaber hilt.

Helios went past her, and then V lined at some point to behind the woman. As Helios manic and rational side made a rare connection of understanding. Helios made a quick forward thrust with his palm. With force imbued quickness and precision. If Helios was lucky, and the force was with him. Helios expertise of nerve strikes would guide his hand to a nerve cluster, just ubder the dense bone of the woman's skull. When struck this caused instant nerual shut down, and renderred the victim unconscious. Helios could only hope his random and chaotic movement, and his choice of timing had caught the distraught Jedi off guard.

Kalyn looked around at the panicked civilians, she didn't dare use any of her Force abilities or else they'd believe she was a Sith even more than they do now. Not only would being hostile look bad for her, it'd look bad for the entire Jedi Order. She wasn't going to take that risk.

She continued to take a few steps back trying to convey the message that she meant no harm to anyone. The workers were too busy getting themselves to safety to bother about her though.

Kalyn then felt a presence behind her, she glanced backwards to see who was approaching her from behind but before she could get a good look at who it was she was struck in the back of her head. "Agh!" She yelled as she fell to her hands and knees. She could feel her body start to shut down, she had no idea what was happening to her. She desperately opened herself up to the Force in hopes of using the Force to help her. She managed to stand up, shakily, turning and taking a step backwards to get a look at who inflicted the hit. Her vision faded out between blurry and barley making out an image. She couldn't make out much besides the fact that it was a man. "Who..are you." She said weakly. Unable to hold herself up any longer she fell to one knee, feeling herself slipping and not strong enough to counter whatever the man had done to her.

Helios watched [member="Kalyn Tyree"] as she tried to use the force to counter his nerve strike. He had to admit her sheer stubborness to succumb to the painless technique which threatened her nervous system. Was quite an impressive feat. In his opinion at least. It took moments for the crowd to realize Helios had struck again... Quite literally. As things eventually settled back to their normal pace. Now that the 'Sith' had been subdued. Helios listened as the woman questioned who he was... Helios was getting asked that a lot lately. He was starting not to like the question.

"A peace keeper." Helios chose to respond. "I don't like people harming this planet." he added as he glared down at her. Though he showed enough compassion to catch the woman. As she dropped to her knees. He wasn't heartless after all and he didn't need his newly acquired cative to be hurt... Yet. As Helios wanted to figure out how to best make use of his victim. Unaware what his quest would eventually mean for the two of them.

Helios looked to a worker. "Get me ahset of restraints.. Preferably some that can sever a force connection." he instructed sternly. As the man nodded and scurried off. Not questioning Helios seeming his actions restored order, and so the man likely assumed Helios was a secret agent or something. When the worker returned. Helios had hefted the woman over his shoulders. He took the restraints and quietly carried the woman to his home.

From there Helios made sure to remove the woman of her weapons. As he fastened her down with the force severing restraints. He took time to make sure he got her as comfortable as he could make her. He wandered if there was a force technique to sever other user's connection. It was just a stray thought. He already knew his captive wouldn't be escaping his apartment, nor would she be using the force... But he had plans to test the force on her... And learn a technique he heard rumors of. The ability to dominate a mind through the force!

She heard [member="Helios Venth"] say something about harming this planet, she waned to protest and explain that that wasn't what she was here for, but she couldn't hold out any longer, her body shut down and she lost all consciousness.

--

Kalyn's eyes fluttered open weakly as she had a throbbing headache. Her head fell to the left and that was when she completely became aware. She looked around at her surroundings frantically, she looked down to her wrists an saw that they had restrained. She struggled and squirmed under the restraints but her effort was useless.

She looked around again and saw her saber sitting on a table a little bit away from her. "Finally." She muttered, seeing a way out. She opened up her palm waiting for the weapon to fly into her hand, but it remained still. She attempted it two more times, failing both attempts. Force severing restraints, she finally figured it out. That was the only possible explanation.

Now she just had to find out who was keeping her captive and explain the whole mess to them and that she is no Sith.

Helios had an errand to run while she was unconscious. So, he took the time to head off and prepare for his work. He assumed he had enough time to do that. Helios returned awhile later and was about to walk into the room. Only to stop and observe the woman reaching out to call her lightsaber to her. Splendid, the restraints worked magnificently at severing the force connection! He'd have to repay the worker at some point in time. Though he had work ahead of him... Lots and lots of work.

Helios finally entered the room and walked up to the table. Lifting the lightsaber and activating the hilt. Showing that he was familiar with the type of weaponry. Not enough to make one of course. Not yet at the very least. Though enough to give a few simple strokes associated with form III. Before he disabled the lightsaber and set it back onto the table.

Helios loomed to the woman and tilted his head. In a curious manner. Before he offered a warm and bright smile. Helios lowered the hood of his brown and black robe. Revealing his facial features. His face had several faded scars. Though he appeared 23 he was exactly 21 years of age. None the less despite the slight aging, he was still a cunningly handsome individual.

"My apologies for the wait, Miss." he spoke in a polite tone of voice. "I had preperations to make." he noted as he walked closer to her table. "My name is Helios." he announced now that they were out of the streets. "Helios Venth. You are in very very big trouble. Though don't worry, I am going to help you!" Helios announced to [member="Kalyn Tyree"] cheerfully. Some reason however his expression seemed like help, was the equivalent to punish in this particular circumstance

Kalyn saw [member="Helios Venth"] walk over to the table her lighstaber rested on, she jumped a little at his sudden appearance but nothing more. He activated it and Kalyn's eyes went wide as she once again tugged at the restraints thinking that he was going to harm her with the weapon. She calmed down as the lightsaber was disabled and placed back onto the table.

She stayed quite as the hooded figure walked towards her, he then removed his hood to reveal his dirty blonde hair and blue eyes, accompanied with a number of scars. She studied him, she'd never seen him before, his appearance struck no memory of any criminal in the database back at the Jedi Temples.

He introduced himself to her under the name or 'Helios'. He then spoke about how she was in trouble but he would help her. Her heart started to beat faster. She knew this was no situation she could just walk out of. This was serious. "Wait, I'm not a Sith, I swear. I'm a Jedi, I wasn't there to cause any harm." She explained, still under the belief that everyone though she was a Sith.

He listened to her explanation. Then shook his head and chuckled. "My dear, you are quite naive." he said to her calmly. "I know you are not a sith." he stated resisting a cynical cackle. "You however broke into an honest business, and revealed a weapon. Which in turn caused chaos. So, regardless of your jedi alliance. You are by no means here for peace." he added as he moved dangerously close to the area he had [member="Kalyn Tyree"] restrained. Reaching out and brushing aside her hair. "So... The way I see it. You need some help. I will help you be more peaceful." Helios spoke to her. "Much better then the queen of commenor helping you." he noted and nodded his head. "She wouldn't like you very much right now."

Helios knew he had a ways to go. First he needed to learn some base control techniques. Helios was a naturally powerful force user. Just one with hardly any knowledge of how to use it. He knew that before he jumped into dominating the mind of another. He was going to have to learn other techniques first. Sadly, his pyromancy didn't quite count. Helios looked around and thought. Maybe telekinesis would be a good start? Definitely that was something he should learn. Though how to 'entertain' his guest for the time being?

He turned his attention back to his hostage. As he smiled some to her. Clearly coming out of a space off moment. "Sorry. Now then... Shall we get started helping you?" he asked in a polite manner. That was cynically uncharacteristic of the average dark force user. Helios didn't view himself as the bad guy. He truly believed what he was about to do was in this woman's best interests. Otherwise he would of handled things much differently. Helios was just a bit mentally unstable was all.

"I wasn't going to cause any harm though, I was told to see if the commenors were making weapons and selling them to dangerous bounty hunters and mercenaries. I know I approached the situation stupidly it was a mistake" She explained desperately trying to get er point across. [member="Helios Venth"] came closer and brushed some hair out of her face, she shuddered away from his touch.

She feared for what was going to happen to her at the moment. She was truly defenceless, no weapon, no Force. She racked her brain for any possible ideas to get herself out of here, but in her current state of fright and unknowing it was difficult to think straight.

Once again she tugged at the restraints as he spoke again, "I don't need any help. I'm fine." trying to sound as calm as possible.

He saw her tug at the restraints. Fine? Helios didn't think she was fine. Sure, she was beautiful... And she seemed kind enough. That he almost wanted to believe she was fine. He even paused to consider her pleas. Though he shook his head and his eyes met her's. "You will be helped. Whether you like being helped, or not." he spoke to her in a chillingly calm manner. From there Helios had to click completely to lala land. As he himself didn't agree rationally with what he was about to do.

He had to capitalize upon the woman's fears. He knew what it took to break a mind, and a mind which was lost, broken, or confused. Was always more dominatable. Then a mind who was thinking clearly. Helios would know from his experiences of a broken mind. So, in lala land he went. To do something about this woman, and her defiance towards wanting help.

Helios clamped a hand firmly over his victim's mouth. No need for screams to return his sanity. Not until he knew she was ready to let him help. He smiled in an almost sadistic manner. As he created a flame with his other hand. Using his pyromancy now to instill further fear. He moved the fire slowly towards the woman's arm. To let the heat of the flames draw her to 'sanity'. So, he was able to reason with her. "Please let me help you?" he cooed to her softly. "I much rather help a willing individual, other then have to pursuade them." he said as though his expression seemed blank. An edge of his sanity caused his eyes to give her a look almost begging her to agree and so he didn't have to inflict pain to [member="Kalyn Tyree"] .

He refused to listen to her, which made her panic even more. His voice was calm, too calm it sent shivers down her spine. She couldn't predict what he was going to do, why she was here, which terrified her. He wasn't in his right state of mind, his aura and speech gave off a sense of instability.

She needed to get out, she wanted to get out of here, she knew the man needed help but no help was going to be offered from the state she was in. She cursed at herself over and over again in her head for being so stupid in the way she'd handled the situation at the Trade system. If she'd handled it like a real Jedi she wouldn't be in this situation. No wonder the Jedi don't trust her on the 'big' missions, this just proved it, and now she was stuck.

Kalyn was knocked out of her self-loathing session when [member="Helios Venth"] clamped his hand on her mouth as a way to silence her, a short muffled scream of shock and fright escaped her lips. All of a sudden a flame sparked in his hand, Kalyn's eyes went wide with fright as he brought the flame closer to her arm. Her 'calm and brave' act had completed disappeared and left only the terrified girl that she used to be all those years ago. Her heart started to beat faster as fear engulfed her. She could feel the heat radiating off the flame and onto her arm, her eyes darted down to the flame and back up, she shut her eyes tight as it got closer and warmer, muffled cries and pleas coming from underneath his hand. The man then asked if she was willing to allow him to help her, she looked up at him her eyes slightly watery, and full of terror. After a moment or two she slowly and shakily nodded once in reply.

Helios was pleased with the nod. As he turned off the flame. Well turned it off was the best he could do to explain his extinguishing of the fire he called forth. "Good!" he spoke triumphantly to her. Helios didn't want to inflict pain. Though now that there was no need for his insanity, rationality kicked back in. When Helios looked down at the woman, his already pale skin seemed to turn three shades whiter. As the expression the woman gave him. Brought back a familiar expression. Terror. Not that of what an adult would experience. Though that of what you might find in a child. Who had just realized how cruel the world could be.

Helios insanity and rarionality both had limits. This expression she gave him hit a major limit. Even her muffled protests could not provide the level of impact as her looks did. "Too far." Helios mumbled to himself. His voice and expression distant. "Went too far.." he added. Before he shook his head. Return to the present! He blinked a few times as he finally focused back onto the work he had done. She was where he wanted her. Had he the right techniques. He was sure he could enthrall her almost on the spot. Though sadly he did not, so this would be a slow process.

Helios kept his hand clamped on her mouth a moment longer. Before he finally slid it down a little. Enough so the woman could speak. "I am... Truly sorry about that." Helios spoke in a type of sorrow that was laced with empathy. "Please... Please do not further resist my attempts to help. I do not wish to hurt you." Helios spoke and shook his head. His words and his posture showed sincerity. It did not hide the fact he was capable of harming her. With the right motivation he would harm her. Though he looked to her and offered her a glimpse of his own pain, which drove him to the state of insanity he currently held. "What is your name?" he finally asked her.

[member="Kalyn Tyree"]

As soon as the flame distinguished, Kalyn let go of a breath she didn't even know she was holding. Her breathing started to slow down, and lessened to normal rate, though not completely 'calm' she was far less terrified than what she was a minute ago.

Her head lolled back slightly as relief washed over her, her eyes rest closed, trying to catch her breath and let the fear slowly disperse. She heard the man mutter something about going too far, which was when she brought her head back up slightly. It was like a whole different side to him, one that she definitely had not seen in the time she'd spent with him. She looked at him as he seemed to space out, just for a second, before returning back to the present.

[member="Helios Venth"] then lowered his hand slightly, apologising to her. He asked her not to resist any longer. Kalyn could not just let this man do whatever he wanted to her, but for now she didn't show any hostilities. Kalyn looked at him sceptically unsure whether he spoke the truth when he said he did not want to hurt her, a second ago he could've fooled her! Kalyn decided to stay calm for now, no lashing out, no hostilities, not until she knew exactly what she was dealing with here.

She swallowed any fear that rested in her throat before answering his question. "..Kalyn." She answered, her voice barley audible.

"Kalyn..." he repeated and nodded his head. "Well... I would undo these restraints Kalyn. Though I highly doubt that would be helpful." he said and studied the restraints. He then looked to her arm and flinched when he saw the burn mark that was starting to form. He didn't verbally state his displeasure for having left the mark. Though he neither expressed he was glad she agreed before he got any closer to her arm. The ocassional flinch was now the only indicating signature.

He looked to [member="Kalyn Tyree"] with a curious expression. Before he turned and headed off. Returning a bit later with an ointment. "If I knew healing force techniques... I would use them. Though for now. This will have to do." Helios said as he applied the ointment on the burn. Helios rational side, was truly counter productive to his goals. Of course even sane he still meant to take over her mind. He was just more likely to take a gentler and slower approach. He hoped this gesture was enough to help convince her. He didn't want to harm her.

"Perhaps we both need helping." Helios spoke quietly to Kalyn. "I shouldn't of gone so far. Though I did, and I don't doubt I won't again that far again. Though trust me when I say. I truly do not wish to go there." Helios spoke as it was clear his rational side, and luckily in more times then not. His generally dominant state of mind, was a much more caring and compassionate side. "If I freed you... Would you still let me help you?" Helios asked Kalyn. As he looked to her hopefully. He didn't doubt the woman would run. Though he had to at least try a more polite and civil approach. If she would let him.

He thought about it. What would he do if she ran? What would he do if she called her lightsaber to her and attacked? Helios flinched and closed his eyes and breathed. "No, you are right.. You wouldn't let me help, only try to hurt me back." Helios decided before giving her a chance to respond. "I can't exactly blame you either. I have been most inhospitable. Though as I said. I don't like people being hostile to this planet. So... Can you help me, help you?" Helios asked and looked to her. Hoping he could reason with her and so they could reach an understanding that didn't involve Helios' manic side torching her.

Kalyn had returned to a more calm state, one where she could think clearly and straight. Her heart ceased feeling like it was ready to jump out her throat. The man studied her for a minute before leaving the room and returnin shortly with ointment. He started to apply the appointment to her newly acquired burn along her arm, she winced and flinched as the ointment touched her skin making it sting uncomfortably. She watched him apply the ointment to her wound, he was so noticeably different in this state of mind.

He spoke about them both needing help and how he did not want to return to the state he was in a few minutes ago. Neither did she frankly. He then asked if she would comply and cooperate if he were to release her from those wretched restraints. All of a sudden hope sparked in her eyes for once. Until, he spoke again before letting her answer, deciding against it and coming to the conclusion that she would simple attack him for hurting her.

"Why..why do you keep believing I need help?" She asked [member="Helios Venth"] curiosity and fear clouded her mind as she awaited the answer.

He me the eyes of [member="Kalyn Tyree"] for a brief moment. Curious to how she could believe, she didn't need help? How could he explain to one who could not understand how much they needed help. Though he had to at least try. He supposed trying to keep her hidden from the need was more harmful then anything. "You are hurting. You don't show it easily. Though a part of you is not whole." Helios finally spoke and shook his head. "It wasn't the pain I inflicted that caused terror. It was the reminder of a life left behind. I would know. I saw it in your expression." Helios said to her simply.

"You therefore need help. Attacking a peaceful trade center is not an appropriate course of actions." Helios decided and frowned. "Okay... Panicking and causing a mistook dillusion of you attacking a peaceful trade center is not good."

See... Helios could be reasoned with gradually. He looked to the restraints and frowned. Strongly considering taking them off. As a sign of good faith at the very least? He went to even remove them. Before his eyes drifted over to the lightsaber and he withdrew his hand. Shaking his head as he didn't wish to be cut down. He had work to do. He needed to help her, before he could trust her with her freedom. Well... Kinda freedom. He was after all going to be in control of her when his plans were completed. Though maybe, just maybe she wouldn't hurt him?

Then she would run, and that would leave Helios hurt in a different manner. He wanted to help her. Sure, his thoughts of how to help may be twisted. He might even be utterly insane in ways. Though he didn't like the expression the woman had. He knew it was his duty to help her. Even if she didn't quite agree with him. He could only hope she would at least try to help him, help her. As he was sure it was in both of their best interests not to let him resort to his manic side.

He finally huffed and looked to her. Sometimes it took a leap of faith to get a little lee way. He walked over to the table with the lightsaber. Then picked it up. As his heart raced and he did something yet again. Crazy. Though he hoped in a crazy that she would verify that his intentions were to help her. More so then inflict pain and suffering upon her. Helios carried the lightsaber over to her. Then touched the hilt against her palm. Waiting just enough for her to take the weapob from him. Before Helios dashed back a little, and moved to a corner. In case she decided to be hostile towards him.

She awaited an answer to her question as she watched him. He appeared to have some conflict about whether or not to answer her. He finally answered and explained why she 'needed help'. After he answered her question Kalyn frowned, and turned her head to the side, away from [member="Helios Venth"] she utterly hated the fact he just broke her down in a couple of sentences, how easily she was read. She did her best to bury that life in the dirt, leave it behind and never have to dig back into it.

Kalyn looked back up at the man and once again he seemed to be in that constant state of conflict within his mind. He stayed silent, in his own world. Wondering what to do with her next she supposed. While he fussed over that she was thinking of ways to get out, and more importantly where to go after getting out.

She didn't agree with him needing to help though, he may have had a lucky guess at a quick summary of her childhood. But she'd taken care of that, she'd left that life behind and started a new one. A much better one. And she didn't need anything or anyone resurfacing those memories. Much less did she need help.

Knocking her out of her thoughts, Helios walked over to the bench where her weapon lay, she watched carefully as he picked it up. He brought it to her and held it near her palm, she wasted no time in grabbing the hilt of the weapon as the man didn't waste anytime in retreating back to the corner.

She ignited the blade as it cackled to life and broke the restraint in one hand she then reached over and broke the other restraint, snapping it with the help of her lightsaber. She stood up and spun the saber once in her hand, looking towards the man and then to the exit. Now it was her turn to have a battle of her own within her mind. She knew this man was mentally unstable and she wished to help him. But staying also meant risking her own life here. She had no idea what he had in store for her. But as long as they were safe methods she could tolerate being around and trying to figure out this intriguing character.

She sighed and spun the saber once again as the blade distinguished and retreated back into the hilt, hooking the weapon back onto her belt. He had shown her some kindness, the least she could do was return it.

He himself caught a breath when she disabled the lightsaber. Though he still remained warry of the tool. Hand-to-hand techniques were limited when someone wielded a lightsaber that cut you no matter how you tried to parry with your flesh. Helios could tell the woman was convinced she didn't need help. Even after his explanation towards the predicament. Helios couldn't blame [member="Kalyn Tyree"] for thinking that. Though her earlier actions at the market, and her expression a bit earlier. Had Helios unquestionably convinced he needed to help her. He was just going to have to be cautious, how he moved forward to do so.

He noticed she didn't speak of the issue at hand. Helios didn't dare prod further. If the roles were reversed. He wouldn't want to be pressed to reflect upon his own child hood. He glanced around and frowned. As he opened his hand and focused on an item. Trying to call it over to him. It took awhile. As Helios tried to process how he needed to extend out the force, to connect to the item he had interest in. In fact it took a few minutes of him actually putting thought into it.

Though soon a small box wobbled on a shelf. Then slowly came floating over to him. As he took the box into his possession. Looking to her with the wary and guarded loom she gave him while he had her restrained. Helios was beggining to actually test the ability to self train himself in force techniques. So eventually he could give the woman the help she needed. Until then however... "Are you hungry?" Helios asked. As he studied the woman and fully observed the beauty she had.

Kalyn kept the weapon tucked behind her, close to reach in case there was a need for it. She noticed the man visibly calm down as she unarmed herself. She had no intention of harming the man, despite recent events. Though if there was any sign of him having hostile actions or any ulterior motives she would not hesitate to bring her weapon back out. She was adamant she didn't need help, but a part of her was curious to know what was going on in his head and how he planned to so call 'help' her.

She looked down on the ground not exactly knowing where to go from here, her head snapped back up when she saw movement from [member="Helios Venth"] he opened his hand as if to utilise the force. She saw the man and his level of focus was evident in his eyes, she glanced behind her and saw a shelf. He was attempting to call something over to him.

She looked back at the men and waited to see what would happen from his attempt with the force. Soon enough the box wobbled, her head snapped back to the shelf. Her eyes followed the box that floated over to him, shakily. She noticed how untrained he was with simple force abilities. She could sense his connection with the force also wasn't very strong, compared to her own connection.

He looked at her with a wary look, she turned her head to the side slightly, still maintaining eye contact, curious as to what he was thinking. He asked if she was hungry. Kalyn thought about it for a second. She hadn't eaten since before she was originally given the mission back at the Jedi Temple. She looked back up at him and nodded before saying a quite "yes.." It wasn't until she answered that she realised she was thirsty more than anything. "Do..do you have any water?" She asked.
