STRENGTHS
+Flight: Like other Diathim, Samthann was born with blade-shaped wings to help enable flight. If she had a fellow Diathim as a tutor, she could technically be able to soar through the vacuum of space, but she is not aware of her ability to this extent.
+Hypnotic Gaze: As with Diathim and Maelibi, she has a natural hypnotic ability. It works much like a mind trick, being able to influence the minds of those who are susceptible to such intrusions of the mind. On the other hand, beings with a stronger mental will are not affected.
WEAKNESSES
-Young: Samthann is still a young girl, and still coming into her abilities. She is also a tad naive about certain subjects, having spent most of her time away from highly civilized areas. She can come off as slightly awkward and unable to understand some social cues others would be familiar with.
-Dark-Sickness: Despite being so connected with the natural world, she cannot stand acts of the Dark Side. In that, she finds that unnatural wellsprings of the Dark tend to make her feel sick. But if they occur naturally, such as in organisms that use it to hunt, she is unaffected.
PERSONALITY
Samthann is a shy, but kind young girl. She has lived many years in the woodlands of so long that she is wary of visitors to her home. She lacks some of the social awareness to communicate effectively with other sentients. She is somewhat naive, but at the same time cautious. She is also very protective of her woodland home, and those few she calls friend.
BIOGRAPHY
Samthann does not remember much of what came before Domhanda. She vaguely recalls a different world with several moons. She had travelled with another like her, older though. They had come to Domhanda. Then she was alone. She cannot recall what happened to her older companion, just that they were somehow.....gone not long after their arrival.
In her early years of living on Domhanda, she fed off the land as best as she could. She eventually made contact with a hermit family living near the edge of ger woodland domain. They were at first frightened of her, and she of them. But, the grandfatherly patriarch among them eventually brokered peace between the parties. He taught her language, survival skills, and even some delving in the mysticism of the local Force religion.
As she grew older, she spent half of her time between her new adopted family and in the woodlands. But it also became apparent that the natives of this world did not live long.The playmates that were once her size had become adult height in a couple years. They slowly either passed away or headed off to pursue adult lives elsewhere. They lovingly bequeathed their cottage home to her, and still send messages on occasion. At present, she still lives in the family's old home, acting as a protector of the woodlands whenever someone with malicious intent comes close.
