Betrayed by his cause, left for dead, brought back to kill. It's been a long road for Salvor Thul, but with his life he will claw his way back, as the Sith always have, and always will.

When the Sith Empire began to fall, and the lines in the sand of ideology and faith were drawn, two powers made a pact doomed to break. An Empire without the Sith, and Sith without an Empire, aligning as a means to a seperate end. When the word was given for Operation Kyber Dark, and the New Imperial Order severed its ties with the Sith totally, a dream died along with the thousands sworn to a new way for the Sith. Salvor should have been one of them. His entire unit, The Death Knell, was burned alive by pyrochemical weapons, their fiery roar and the screams a mocking end for such a name. Their leader should have died with them, but in a sick and twisted fate the burned Archon lived among a dying breed.
He would return to his people, shamed, as they all were, of the defeat on Bastion. His burns, physical and mental, would never been properly treated, leaving the man scarred and damaged forever. In some ways, he never wanted it any other. His wounds were a reminder of his failure, his endurance of the constant pain a reminder of his dedication to the Sith.
The Warlords of the Sith, the fundamentalist faction he had sworn devout fealty to, would burn hot and bright in their war against the Sith Empire. In time however the Heresiarch of the Warlords, Darth Voyance, would fall and the Warlords shattered from the tide of the Ashlan Crusade.

, and would lead the remnants of the Warlords to Exegol in service of the Brotherhood of the Maw.
As a soldier of the New Sith Order, Salvor spent years fighting the Galactic Alliance and the Empire, killing without mercy and taking response in kind amidst a war for the future of the Force. Though Salvor was never sensitive to the Force, he never once doubted the strength of the Sith Code and the power of the Dark Side. Much like the Mawite marauders he fought beside, with every battle he lost a little bit more of himself, replacing organs and limbs with machines or genetic modifications, but never easing his pain.
His pain drove him ever further, and in the years of the Second Great Hyperspace war the fanatical Sith soldier would develop a masochistic rage in the heat of battle, sometimes setting himself aflame as he fought so that he could remember the day he cheated death, and pay a fair price for whatever death was coming. Always burned and scarred and in pain, Salvor developped an addiction to Bacta and stimulants, and though for many Mawites such addictions were the leash of authority, for Salvor it was always a reward. The New Sith Order knew that men like Salvor fought because they had real faith.

As such he distingusihed himself to the NSO, and even when the prophesied Sith'ari fell on Tython, and Exegol was destroyed as the nail on the coffin of the Sith, He remained loyal. In the interwar years, he never ceased to fight for the Sith
