HUNGRY HUNGRY HIPPO!
Ryloth, at the Junction of Mara Corridor & Correlian run Hyperlanes
----------------------------------------------------------------------
SPACE! Fleet Battle!POI:
1. There's two large Freighter in the center of the Area. They are ringed with debris and packed with goodies
2. Space: The space around the Freighters is full of mines, drones and crates. Starfighters will have to clear them out to let the Salvage barges in.
Rules:
1. Each Faction or Corporation can bring 3000M worth of Fleet.
Salvage barges do not count.
2. Protect your Salvage barge! Get in there, steal the goodies before the other guys!
3. Write a cool space battle. Take your time, have fun. It's a competition, but it's for fun.
Another job had come across the Merc dropbox. Hala had snapped it up. Between her Jagger they were making short work of most of these scouting missions and she was saving up a sizeable chunk of credits for another upgrade to her Z-95.
This one had been an escort mission. Several Massive cargo haulers had been attacked by Pirates near the Ryloth system, and while they had been able to get away with most of the good, some of them had been blown wide open. They were stuffed with Platinum bars and Crates of Proton torpedoes. Those things tended to be valuable.
Right now just about every salvager in the system was on their way to try and claim some of it. It belonged to no one, but many Corporations had already staked their claim. There was more than just Salvage barges on the way. They were at each-others throats to get it, bringing in PMC's and other things.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Right now Hala was staring at her dash, as her scanners roved the two hulking wrecks. Crates were scattered everywhere. Jagger was on her wing to the left scanning with his YT-1300 Freighter. Their mission?
Scan and report their findings back to the highest bidder.
Which currently was no one, because they were first free lancers on the scene.
Hala glanced up and surveyed the wreckage through her visor, tagging locations with her scanner.
"You see anybody incoming?"
"Nope, but there's a lot of interference here. Too much crap... wait."
Hala got a bad feeling.
"What?"
"Picking up mines all throughout the debris field. Looks like anti-capital ship."
Hala pressed her lips thin. A mine that big was gonna make it hard for Salvagers to get in. They'd have to clear them out with fighters or drones. Either way whoever showed up first was gonna give her a long days worth of work.
"Alright, start tagging them with locators, I'll work the crates over."
"Copy."
She drifted right a bit, to cut the interference from their overlapping sensors and began to focus on crates only.
