Safiya Mylas was born part of the Yharwod community and is the younger cousin of the speaker Kalli Mylas on their father's sides. She is of average to high intelligence and has a high-very high physical aptitude, drawing her into athletics and lightball.

Officially she is employed as a farmhand on the farm run by her father Vincento and her elder brother Bram. She has recently qualified for a degree in animal management. She works hard and is a productive member of the community. Note - Regular reports of lateness to duties due to lightball commitments, please monitor.

Her more prominent role is that of Captain of the Yharwood lightball team. She has a personal global ranking of women's number 4, but the team as a whole is lacking. This may be a vulnerability regards her loyalty and continued community membership. She has been approached by several other teams, but as of yet has shown no signs of leaving.​
