Advanced Features
Strengths
Inline Bridge - Built into the superstructure and equipped with an alusteel cover, the Bridge is heavily protected from opposition fire
Firepower - Heavily armed, the Saevus-Class comes equipped with 6 Heavy Turboplasma Batteries plus 50 more Turboplasma Turrets
Shielded - Saevus-Class Power Output : Turboplasma Population ratio is high enough to allow for a constant Shield
Weaknesses
Detectable - Powered by 4 MT-CP Engines, like any Emergence Vessel, its exhaust output makes it highly detectable
Slow - Even with a Shield, the EBC/4 is built with some thick, heavy armour. With such significant mass, even the four Mauda-Templar Type Engines can't propel it to a decent speed
STA-H04 - Its Heavy Batteries are built with integrated Reactors. Using Antimatter as Fuel, if these Batteries are critically damaged or destroyed, the fuel can easily escape deeper into the Hull, reacting with regular Matter and causing serious internal damage
Description
The Baseline Saevus-Class Cruiser, the EHC/4 is designed to fill out roles as a Destroyer and Dreadnought Support while maintaining enough Firepower to see itself through a hefty battle. With both a Belly Hangar and a Belly Docking Bay, the EHC/4 is capable of both capturing smaller vessels, and carrying a small number of fighter squadrons.
Its Antimatter Reactor outputs enough energy to support the use of a large number of Turboplasma Turrets, giving it the Energy to afford a shield. Both Shield Generator and Bridge are built in-line to the Superstructure, giving it an anatomical advantage over Vessels with a more archaic design.
