While many are aware of the existence of ‘Grand Moff Ignacious Korvan’ due to his meteoric rise within the Imperial Hierarchy, as well as his son the ‘noble’ and ‘regal’ Inquisitor Varos Korvan; comparatively few within the the greater society of the Empire are aware of the youngest of Ignacious’ progeny - Sabine Korvan. Her mother’s heritage is that of a respectable Bastion-based family, with old ties to the former Sith-Imperial aristocracy, but who had secretly lent support to the New Imperial movement near the half-way mark of the Civil War.
The easiest way to understand this relatively mysterious figure in the family line is to compare her to her more well known brother. Among the characteristics they share are that they both are clearly products of the finest education the Empire can offer. They are both refined, highly intelligent, and capable in their chosen paths.
Yet, their divergences are most notable. Varos is said to heavily favor his mother’s side of the family - a Serennan noble woman who died during childbirth. Sabine on the other hand, heavily favors her father; possessing a delicate mixture of alluring femenine qualities that causes the minds of the opposite sex to venture into less savory thought processes, while at the same time bearing a striking resemblance that would cause most who know both father and daughter to double-take. As mentioned earlier, Varos is distinctly Serennan by culture, whereas Sabine is a picturesque example of a youth raised at the center of Imperial power on Bastion. Where Varos is known to be fairly balanced and tactful, Sabine is direct and ruthless in both her manner and approach. Where Varos is known to exhibit compassion where there is room for it, Sabine possesses the same predatory air her father is known for. It is said both father and daughter share the same piercing, frosty glare and unreadable demeanor.
These distinct differences from her brother, and startling similarities to her father, make Sabine the ideal type of person for the role she has found herself within at a young age. While their father Ignacious had attempted to unsuccessfully guide his son Varos’ trajectory away from the Imperial Knights, Ignacious’ attempts would be far more successful with regard to his daughter; who possessed an innate sensitivity to the force on her own right, albeit to a lesser extent than her brother.
Her connection to the force was successfully hidden from those of the Order of Imperial Knights, with Ignacious and his lady wife’s family carefully grooming Sabine for a future placed at the heart of the rising galactic state. Upon coming of proper age, Sabine would secure induction into the Bastion Imperialis Naval College, where her father had hoped she would follow in his footsteps and pursue a naval career. Over the course of her education there, her scores would commend her well to the career path of naval intelligence, which naturally attracted the attention of elements within the ISB’s naval division. Her name, plus further development of her skills at diplomacy (or rather, aggressive diplomacy like her father), counter-surveillance, and political maneuvering resulted in her transition from the ISB and into COMPNOR.
Today, Sabine has been assigned as a political commissar within the Commission for the Preservation of the New Order, using her skills in areas of diplomacy along the border worlds of the Empire, while also ferreting out malcontents who stand against the tenants of the new Galactic Empire by virtue of her sheer tenacity and atypical approach.

Impassive, hawkish, exacting; Sabine is every bit the Bastion-born young woman that one might expect. While she possesses a certain ‘Imperial Chic Flair’ that is unmistakable, she has been raised within a lifestyle that has taught her how to navigate dynamic political and social constructs at the highest level - providing her with a foundation to succeed in similarly complex circles. While she is quite capable of exuding the same air of authority that her father is known for, she is also able to ingratiate herself amongst those she wishes to curry favor with; possessed of a certain charm and eloquence that comes off quite compelling.
Privately, amongst family and close friends, Sabine possesses the capacity to be warm, sociable, and some would even say ‘pleasant when she has a mind to be’. Her brother may not openly admit it, however.
