[SIZE=11pt]The Saber Electronics Suite was designed by a team that included Ivlyn Mecetti to produce some kind of combat advantage when it comes to self-awareness. With the kind of awareness provided by the SES, the team decided to take things one step further while Ivlyn was off-world and added a tracking function. When Ivlyn returned, the tracking function was added to her sabers, and now she doesn’t fear losing them much at all - seeing as how they can always be found, almost anywhere that they are.[/SIZE]

- Navigation Computing Requirements - To find her lightsaber on another world, one would have to use a navigation computer to perform the necessary spatial calculations, and to detect the signal beyond a point that gives you its general location.
- Frailty - The Saber Electronics Suite is rather fragile. Not as fragile as some components, but a powerful strike to the saber containing it that wouldn’t normally find anything in it being destroyed will see much of the functionality of the SES lost. Of course, the tracking mechanisms will continue to function, as they are as sturdy as anything else in a lightsaber, but not much else will.
