Description: The purpose of the Phantoma Stealth Drive, or, simply put, the Phantoma. Is to create a standardized stealth generator for ships within the Sith assassins. The Phantoma is a closely guarded secret by the assassins, not released to even the one sith. And thus, it is the one true insurance policy of the assassins, allowing them to vanish without so much as a trace should they so wish. However, in the mean time, escalating classes of the Phantoma Drive allows ships of the sith assassins, be they fighter / freighter class, to up to light destroyers to be able to have some level of stygium stealth capabilities and enables them to better act in the way they were made to.
The Phantoma operated as a Stygium stealth generator, making it one of the more expensive and desirable stealth generators int he galaxy, as it does not create the issue of the ships it is used on becoming double blind so long as their cloaking devices are active. However that does not mean that the Phantoma is without its weaknesses. The energy signature which is given off by deflector shields makes the ship able to be picked up by energy scanners of the most basic variety, not to mention that the energy field of a personal shield disrupts the stealth field produced by the phantoma to begin with, making the ship which it encompass wavery and able to be distinguished by the naked eye. The Phantoma also drains enough power from any ships core that the ship is unable to fire its weapon loadouts while the cloaking field is in place.
While in absolute stealth ships which are cloaked within the veil of the Phantoma can still be discovered, but the means to do so are more specific, scanning technology which is tuned in to pick up on the magnetic field given off by star-ships still allows them to be tracked on radar, and even locked onto by radar guided missiles, though not all scanners are equipped the means to accomplish this.
All in all the Phantoma is an excellent addition to the Sith Assassins' fleet, enabling them to be able to act as the agents that they are within the One Sith.
