Description:
The S-11 Sonic Rifle is actually quite simple in concept. It is a weapon designed for use of the Imperial Royal Guard in their newly created Power Armor. Due to the sizing up of a soldier when the Power Armor is equipped, it makes utilizing normal weapons completely impossible, given that fingers don't fit through trigger guards anymore.
So, to change this, the designers at Titan Industries who first created the Royal Guard Power armor decided that a new suite of weapons needed in order for the Royal Guard to still be an effective fighting force. Of course because the power Armor itself is only utilized on a very limited basis, these weapons are only created on an as needed basis, meaning there's only a few dozen of them in existence at any given time.
The S-11 as a weapon is nothing more than a slightly larger Sonic Rifle. The weapon functions on the same design and mechanical principles. There is no difference between this weapon, and any other Sonic Rifle currently in existence save for its size and strength.
Because it is larger in design, the weapon can fire a larger “bolt” of Sonic Power. This means the bolt is of course stronger than a regular Sonic Rifle's attack. Titan Industries Engineers have found the increase in strength to be about 1.768 percent. This added strength of course makes the weapon more dangerous, though doesn't change its function too much given that normal Sonic rifles have modular strength settings(stun and kill) and simply makes the latter setting more effective against opponents.
Due to the rifles increased size however, it is impossible to utilize when not wearing the unique Royal Guard Power Armor.
The kickback from the larger weapon, as well as its weight and difficult in aiming it makes it impossible to handle without augmented Strength. This is not a huge setback however, since the weapon was specifically designed for the Royal Guard, and no one else.
All in all the S-11 is nothing more than a double sized Sonic Rifle, not all that unique.
