SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Like many Sociph weapons, this blaster’s plasma burns hotter than an average blaster found throughout the galaxy. While it doesn’t hit as strongly as other Sociph blasters, it can still hit hard enough to burn an unarmored target to pieces. While it takes metals akin to qer to maintain sustained fire, beskar seems to only scratch. Most armored targets can manage two to four shots before the bolts melt through.
Strengths:

  • Reliable - The likelihood that this weapon will fall apart is incredibly slim.

  • Packs a Wallop - It might not be able to get through armor in the first two to even three shots, it can usually hit with enough force to rock the target at the least and knock them on their rear at the worst.

  • Repair - The weapon is incredibly easy to take apart and put it back together. It’s a standard issue meant to be distributed to militia and military alike.
Weaknesses:

  • Relatively Low Capacity - The heat and power of the shots requires a lower cell capacity in order to function.

  • Not User Friendly - The weapon is a clunker, many individuals using it report soreness in the shoulder and arms before switching to a more expensive, less shot efficient, but more user friendly weapon. Those that don’t experience the soreness simply report that it doesn’t feel quite right sitting on the shoulder.
DESCRIPTION
For the longest time the Sociph armament was sporadic and hashed together. There was one rule that was present in years past that is still true in the modern day: the group with the strongest weapons is the strongest. Regor remembers the days of struggling to find a stone to bludgeon someone with, or a sharp stick with which to stab in order to defend himself. The weapon’s design is intentional. Forces will get their use out of the weapon, and if they are strong enough to come out the victor, they’ll be rich enough to ease their shoulders and purchase the next best thing. More money means better weapons, better weapons means new buyers.
