Traits and Quirks
  • Fortune Favors - Rylee has a penchant for making the implausible work. Fighting three guards at once? Sure. Breaching a ship with only an exosuit and a plasma cutter? Fair enough. Maybe she's just lucky, or maybe the Galaxy itself finds her antics amusing. Either way, Rylee throws herself into ridiculously dangerous situations on a regular basis, because hey, it's worked so far.
  • Creditmonger's Curse - Rylee likes money, and she really likes showing off how much she has. There's not much she won't do for the right price, short of selling her body. She's a pirate, what did you expect?
  • Law of the Void - But a pirate has a code, no matter how dastardly she might otherwise be. Rylee will never betray her crew, won't attack other pirates (unless they attack first), and will always split the loot from a raid as fairly as is possible.

Skills and Abilities
  • Close Quarters - Participation in more than a few raids has made Rylee skilled in the use of the Vibro-Cutlass and Pistol. In addition to that, the hazing she received early in her piracy career means that Rylee learned pretty quick to throw a solid punch.
  • Spacer - Having spent the vast majority of her life aboard starships, Rylee knows how to pull her weight around one. She's not a trained engineer, but she can patch a minor hull breach, put out a fire, and perform basic maintenance if need be.
  • The Pilot - Beyond the basic skills required to pull her own weight on her ship, Rylee is also a fairly competent pilot. She's not an ace by any means, but she's won a dogfight or two, and she hasn't gotten her ship blown up yet.
  • General Competence - Beyond the above, Rylee is reasonably competent in most skills which one would expect of a space-faring pirate, most importantly haggling over prices, searching for loot, hiding her own loot from authorities, and intimidating her victims into not fighting back.

The Ship
Rylee's current ship, affectionately named The Crippled Pigeon, is a six-man freighter currently housing twelve, and so exceptionally out of date that Rylee was once offered credits for it by an antique collector. The hyperdrive is barely functional and the weapons sometimes short out mid-combat. Worst of all is the rust - no matter how often or diligently the crew refurbishes the hull, it continually develops a thin coating of rust, even in deep space, which is a bit odd since there's no air in space.

The Force
Rylee is Force Sensitive, and a savant at that. While she has only a very meager Force Sense, she displays an intuitive understanding of and control over the basic, fundamental mechanics of the universe. Her skills aren't all that impressive to a Master of the Force, but still far above what one would expect of an untrained Force Sensitive; she lacks fine control with telekinesis, but can pick up and move light objects at a slow pace, and can perform what is commonly known as the Force Push. Along with that, she's capable of using short bursts of telekinesis to send projectiles flying at high speeds.

More impressive is her extrasensory ability; she can sense motion in an area around her, which is incredibly useful. For example, she can use the vibrations from her footsteps to avoid obstacles at ground level, avoid a weapon swung at her head, and locate enemies on the move, all in total darkness. Of course, as with any sense, background "noise" can be detrimental to accuracy, something a prudent and knowledgeable enemy could take advantage of.
