Approximately 1 standard week after bounty

Dryzl's mouth twisted as she re-read the bounty posting. It had not taken the Dubrillion government long to gather information on the two (who were currently hiding out in a cheap motel). They had even managed to link her to Mr. Bane. She wondered, not for the first time, if they should seek refuge from him. She could go back to work as his bodyguard to pay him back, and if he let Akio do it to then Mr. Bane would have the safest security yet.

She sighed. Five accounts of police homicide. Four were Akio's, true, but the fifth....

Dryzl hadn't wanted to kill him. Honest. If she'd had more time, she could have set her blaster to stun. But she didn't. Therefore, she was now truly responsible for the loss of a father, a husband, a son...

Her first death, ever. And it just had to be an officer. That guilt would never go away, never leave her thoughts...not that it was on par with Akio's guilt.

Not that Akio would know, either. He didn't know that before then, she had never taken a life. Not even when they stormed Olivia Darque's mansion.

And now she had, but on the wrong side of the law.

The Chiss pushed the datapad away, rubbing her forehead. When had her life gone so cockeyed? It was like she'd taken a downward spiral.

It didn't help that the most interesting job of hers was with a criminal, too. And her -- boyfriend? -- was an assassin.

If only her family could see her now.

((Sound track for dis post, man.))

Akio knew that look. Too well. He had been there many times. Well, to be fair, only once. He had made his first kill at the age of ten. How many more since then? Hundreds at least. Were beings really truly able to comprehend the level of death he had metted out, he wondered. Even he was unable to come to terms with it most of the time and the times he was--well those were the scariest of his life. Not because of what he felt, but because he would break.

I am already broken. Those are just moments that it shows. He shook his head, putting the thoughts out of his mind. Right now Dryzl needed him. She had been there when he had needed her for so long now, he couldn't imagine life without her.

The assassin wrapped his thin, scarred arms around her body and pulled her close. They were sitting on the bed just--waiting. Was that it? Recovering? Something. She needed time to come to grips with things, that had to be the reason they were still here. His mind had spent the last three hours formulating a plan subconsciously for them to get out of here and start over. For him, that would be yet again. He had created so may false identities that the real Akio was buried so deep in the past he had no clue where to even look to find him again. If there ever was a real Akio to begin with.

"You did your best, ch'eo k'ta," he whispered in her ear, resting his chin on her shoulder. "He died honorably, you did what you had to do." he planted a soft kiss on her neck. "Trust me, you cannot blame yourself for his death. You cannot let this stop your hold you back, ch'eo k'ta. I know what it does to a person. What it does to--" he stopped himself. He couldn't finish the statement. What it does to me. You know it. She knows it. Anyone who knows anything knows it has shattered you, made you a monster who cannot feel. The voices of the dead. The nightmares that she stopped. You can't lie to her or yourself. This is what your actions earned for you. And you know it.

The thoughts, though true, brought no comfort to Akio. He pursed his lips. Even with his shattered mind, he was still in the best condition of his life. Having Dryzl with him, knowing she loved him--it was finally like living. Even if living was insanity.

Current Location: Coursing through the Outer Rim, heading towards Phaeda.

Sympathy didn't accompany this kind of mission; sympathy should never accompany this kind of mission. Vega read the targets' details - twice more just to make sure. Yeah, she got the jist; a young couple too in love to foresee the inevitable. She knew the type. They thought they were indestructible, that their love was more powerful than anything serving throughout the cosmos. Vega didn't care, though. They could think what they wanted about the concept of love, for it only made them come closer to their inevitable death with every second they were blinded by it. Easy pay, this was. A smile curled upon her lips as her modified HMP predator glided through the Outer Rim towards the targeted planet. Hijacking frequencies always served well for Vega. This galaxy wasn't as big as they hoped it would be.

At least half an hour passed before Vega killed the thruster in her craft, allowing it to slowly glide towards the planet, coming towards a halt before she got pulled down towards it. She'd already discovered what city they lingered within; some rusty motel that still had one of those pre-era radios. From that one radio Vega heard the chatter of the motel staff muttering insults about their guests. These two lovers were on that list.

"This is Vega of the HMP Predator, currently in sync with Phaeda's orbit. I was told this was the frequency you - the second bounty hunter - were in sync with. I've made it incognitos, so speak freely. Are you ready to take down the targets below?" Vega broadcast, but too long for a reply and she'd do this mission on her own.

Long time since a bounty had interested her at all, and this bounty was a high price for two people, unfortunately the price would be lower do to she was working with another, but still pretty high

She had already landed quite some time ago, however she decided to wait for the other she the person come

"Stop," she whispered. "I do not yet wish to dwell on the past. We will have plenty of time for that, when--" If. "--we are out of trouble."

Giving his hand a gentle squeeze, Dryzl stood up and grabbed the briefcase containing her armour. Walking back to the bed, she sat facing Akio, and opened the case. From the lid, she unclipped her cleaning kit and, starting with the helmet, began to wipe it down. The Chiss's armour was not very dirty, but giving her hands something (productive) to do allowed her to think clearer.

"The bounty information suggests the government has their fingers in many intelligence veins. I am, honestly, quite surprised they put that together so quickly in just a week." The woman shifted slightly, attacking a slightly dull spot with her rag. "I want to say we are safe here, at least for a little bit, but..." She let out a frustrated sigh. "At this point, I am just going to be quiet."

Her eyes looked up at his, now. "What do you think?" Dryzl had never had to be on the run, or hide from the law. Even now, she was finding it difficult to digest having a bounty, but hopefully Akio would know what to do.

Otherwise, they were screwed.

Akio blinked for a moment. She has never been in this before, he realized. The thought sent a wave of pity and--peculiarity over the Chiss. He could hardly think of a time when he hadn't been running from someone or something. Hiding was his life. Erasing. Becoming nothing to survive. This wasn't just something he was used to, this was his life. In every possible way.

He gently put a hand on hers and he met her gaze with tenderness and compassion.

"The first thing we must do is remain calm, act normal and remove all reasons of suspicion or doubt," he said in a gentle, patient teacher's voice. "If we act or move in ways that draw attention to ourselves we will be spotted almost instantly. We destroyed the freighter and Roaq on and changed ships. Destroyed that one as well, ditched it in the ocean. Our next move is to disappear. Start over, if you will," he looked at her beautiful hair and gave it a longing regretful comb through. "We will have to lose this, and dye it. I have procured the dye for it already," he nodded to a brown paper bag on the dresser top. "Also there are cosmetics to aid the change as well; contacts, makeup, prosthetic noses--in less than an hour after the haircut has been done we will look completely different."

The assassin pulled a pamphlet out of his pocket, "In four hours there is a bulk transport for the lower class to Tarris. There I have a few contacts that will give us new identities," his eyes flickered for a moment, "we can start over. No more murder. No more assassinations. No more blood money."

He took a moment to realize how natural this was to him. For the first time in his life he was confronted with a truth that had gnawed in the back of his mind all his life: normal people don't run like this. Normal people don't spend their lives hiding their true identities, notating exits off the world, off the building, off the continent.

He gave her shoulder a soft rub. It was go time, "Come on. Ch'ah ch'acah vah, tir nen tsacehah ch'eo k'ta."
I love you, lets get ready my flower.

Vega tapped at the terminal screen before her to break down where the second bounty hunter was transmitting her response from. Coming to some surprise to Vega, she was already among the surface of this world, waiting for her to descend. The female Sith gave no response to @Stardust; she descended her craft to breach the atmosphere of the world first, proceeding to glide across the lower layer of clouds which blanketed the structure that currently homed these two lovers. From there Vega motioned her ship to halt, hovering within this layer of cloud in order to shield her craft. The atmospheric storm which transpired in these clouds helped cloak both the sound and frequency of her craft as well. All there was left to do drop down among the rooftop and breach the structure from there.

"I have your coordinates," Vega replied, arranging the gear she intended to take for this mission. Of course her 'saber was accompanying her respective side, so she moved into the armory. Three cosmic-radiated grenades strapped to on her other side, Vega only needed to strap her respirator over her mouth before she picked up her rifle. It was one of those once designed for the droid army during the clone wars, only she modified an infrared scope onto it. But with the Sith now all geared up, she approached the hatch on board her craft and leaped out, dropping down through the storm of clouds in order to touch down among the rooftop. She touched down at ease, using the force to break her fall. From there she smashed open the hatch on the roof, hopping down upon the top floor of the structure. Rifle directed to aim ahead of her, Vega went on to say, "I'm currently searching the top floor. If you work your way up then we should have no trouble blockading them from escaping both the top and bottom entrances to this place. They have nowhere to run."

Investigation was the least thrilling aspect of bounty hunting. It required patience and technological know-how, with some investigative skills thrown into the mix. Most of all, it required a huge portion of time. He spent significant amounts of time on each assignment, however he had not been on an assignment in quite some time. Last assignment was during the Barab I invasion, with a few credits donated by the Red Ravens, he helped take down a critical space station orbiting the planet. Last thing he remembered was the walls splitting apart like a stitched wound gone wrong. The vacuum instantly tore everything out of the room in the blink of an eye, and sure his magnetic boots and crushgaunts kept him grounded for a second, but that was two seconds before he was hit with a half-tonne station cab sucked out of the airlock. Last thing he remembered was spiraling out of control in the void of space.

Political intrigue and collapse within the Ravens resulted in years of unemployment. Until now. So he was meticulous with his task. It had been seven days since the bounty was posted, but he had spent ten hours a day into research and investigation. The rest was spent eating, sleeping, and drinking the local piss at the 'best cantina in town.' First and foremost in the investigation, he searched into all YV-929 light freighters who had been in the Dubrillion system, of course very few appeared on the list. It had been a matter of thoroughly inspecting each ships logs and history. One stuck out like a shining light. Diana's Dance. Most likely belonging to some good-for-nothing pirates, but then again, he had worked with the Red Ravens. He had no place to criticize other lowlifes looking for some creds. They had committed a string of crimes, small-time smuggling and high-profile murder of officials. The smuggling was nothing, but the murder of officials definitely caught his eyes. He just had to investigate the crew.

Cross-referencing information from a government database was no small crime, albeit if you wanted to be a successful bounty hunter, you had to break a few laws to reel in the targets. The port prior to Dubrillion was on Coruscant, it came to port around noon. The landing was in one of the more discreet and smaller hubs, but that didn't mean they didn't have identification bots and security cameras. His fingers danced along his holopad, stringing together a network of algorithms to bypass local law enforcements security codes. They would know someone had sliced into their network, but it was harder to track them when the man had a throw-away, uncontracted, datapad. He was only in for a few minutes before their droids began to pick his presence and force him out. It was long enough to print out photographs of his suspect. It was a Chiss male alright, and things were beginning to add up.

The bounty made no mention of his Duro buddy, he only hoped that didn't complicate things. Other photographs printed, showing the Chiss making his way back to the freighter, hands bloodied. The Duro was no longer with him. No further prints were made. He didn't think it was coincidence that a Chiss was loping around in the same model freighter, the same that had visited Dubrillion, according to registration codes. What puzzled Solo was that the registration suggested there was more crew, and not just the sole individual. He came to the conclusion that it was stolen. These type of individuals weren't above theft. He checked local Dubrillion security logs and referenced the registration codes along with time of arrival. He found cameras in the vicinity and once more dealt his hand in petty slicing. When the prints came through, it was now two Chiss, refueling their freighter.

He watched the events that resulted in the bounty. The man was an efficient killing machine, having thrown a shard of glass into an officers throat. When they got to the spaceport, the rest was a slaughter. All shots were printed and stacked on his desk. Over the next three days he lost their trail twelve times. They tried to lose any attention they had gathered. The freighter was scrappped, the next one they took was dumped in an ocean. Now they were holed up in a motel. It was no easy feat to track them down, but then again, was any bounty? This was a big galaxy, to say the least. Chiss weren't all that uncommon, and criminals were aplenty. It was easy to lose track of your target in the mess of everything. "Atmospheric entry in three.." an automated voice spoke plainly through the speakers of his BT-7 Thunderclap assault ship, illegally purchased on the invisible market.

Julian Solo stood from his desk, already garbed in his attire, he firmly placed his wide-swept helm over his head and locked it into place. He looked alien, only his lower body identified him as anything remotely humanoid. But he was human alright, he was Corellian. With rifle slung over his shoulder, and blasters holstered at his hips, he was ready for a fight - and given the footage he had seen, he was getting it. He made dock, legally, and spent an odd fifty minutes simply going through customs, registering all his firearms, and why he needed them. "Bounty hunter, I told you a dozen times." Stamped and given passage, he may his way into the city of Derapha, marching a path to the last known location of his targets. His Thunderclap was only a short walk, thankfully accommodation around here located themselves near spaceports, unlike some planets. God, he never wanted to return to Antecedent. That place was a hellhole.

He was fast approaching on the motel when he noticed a craft hovering above the roof, and what looked to be a woman launching herself from her ship and onto the roof. "Kark," he muttered under his breath. He wasn't the only bounty hunter here, and that is when he saw the green Twi'lek brush past him and towards the entrance. He knew what she was here for, fighting other hunters in your own industry allowed Solo to develop an acute ability to identify who his competition was. He followed her in, relaxed and calm. She asked for the Chiss at the counter, and he raised his brows in surprise. "That was bloody easy," he quietly muttered to himself when they relinquished the information on the two. Normally staff at hotels didn't tell customers or visitors where people were staying - for this very reason. Then again, maybe they had seen it too, that thirst for blood and creds.

He stalked the other hunter, both hands draped over his holstered blasters, ready at a moments notice. He couldn't give up his intentions yet by blasting her in the back, no, that would just give his targets plenty of time to escape when all hell breaks loose. He would just have to wait for her to make the first move, and make himself look like the knight in shining armor, as though he were helping his targets, and not the one trying to bag 'em and tag 'em. He walked past the twi'lek and stood three doors down, across the corridor, taking out a card and attempting to swipe it at the door, pretending he was stuck out of his own apartment. He began to complain loudly, "Damnit, this is the third time this week they've locked me out. I paid on time this time!" His eyes shot quick inconspicuous glances back to the targets door where the Twi'lek awaited their response.

We can start over.

She wouldn't be a bodyguard anymore. She wouldn't be in any fights, having to protect someone from their enemies. There would be no more death, no more bloodshed.

Dryzl might have only been in her mid twenties, but Chiss typically did not live as long as other species. To be 80 years old was the human equivalent of being a centennial. And already, her life was 1/4th of the way gone, and she had nothing to show for herself.

Starting over began to have a lot more appeal.

But then there were the people they'd killed. The people whose deaths they were responsible. The families who were hurt by them, innocent bystanders.

Enough. Now is not the time to mourn.

The Chiss nodded at his words, and packed up her armour again. She really ought to put it on, but they were trying to be inconspicuous. "Of course, I--"

A knock made her tense, alert. The voice was unfamiliar, but it was the words it had to say which made her highly suspicious.

Touching a finger to her lips, though Akio would no doubt be quiet, Dryzl slipped off the bed and crept over to where her blaster rested on the table. Checking to see if it was charged and ready (it was), the woman then carefully walked to the door and peeked through the peephole.

A green Twi'lek she had never seen before stood outside. Dryzl shot Akio a look. They were trying to be discrete, but...it would be worse if they didn't let her in. Right?

Tucking the blaster in the back of her pants, Dryzl opened the door slightly, leaving the chain on.

"Who are you?" She had to refrain from wincing. For once, she'd realised just how much of an Imperial clip her voice had. Despite her years in the galaxy, she still hadn't managed to get rid of it.

Akio Diachi

For it was All but a Dream
Akio reached under the bed and tucked a pair of plasteel knives into his waist band. They would slip past any metal scanner and most any person's pat-down of his body. He pulled his long hair up into a bun and pressed a few throwing needles in to tighten it--and secure them. Meanwhile his mind raced through a set of possible escape plans and fight scenarios, the whole arming took less than ten seconds.

Silent on his feet, just as the Umbarian assassins had trained him, the Chiss scurried behind the door. His well trained ears caught the sound of the twe'lik's voice, the subtle vibration of mechanics made his nasal membranes irritable--she was a cyborg. Judging by the feel of the disturbance to his body, he guessed her limbs were the source of the mechanical alterations. He could hear a man in the hall muttering something--something about getting locked out. The paranoid Chiss refused to believe in coincidences, it had saved his life more times than once. His psych may have been shattered, but he was still an assassin with few equals, and that was not because of his body or his years of experience, it was his training and his instincts.

I must protect Dryzl, I must keep her safe, I cannot let anything happen to her. She is my everything. Everything.

"Honey, let me take care of dis," he said, radically transforming his accent to a thick Huttese slur. He had practiced for hours as a young Clansman to get his accents flawless. A person could be deceived by their own voice if they failed to pronounce even one vowel correctly. He motioning to the window. His eyes made the message clear for Dryzl: Move out of the way, this could get messy.

The Chiss edged his way to the barely open door and planted a soft kiss on her cheek, whispering, "Ch'ah ch'acah vah, cart tsaco sir ei ch'eo k'ta." The assassin gave the green Twi'lek his best attempt at a smile, keeping with his convincing accent, "Time to waste? I don't know what you talking about. You wrong wrong room. Me sorry."

Vega glided through the top floor quite quickly. They weren't up there, not unless her target had changed to a group having some kind of. .
Well, let's just say they sounded like they were having more fun than she was. “They're not up here, @stardust. Just some kind of party on the top floor.” Vega spoke over her communications link installed with the respirator. From there she proceeded down to the next level, rifle lifted before her in case the targets happened to stumble out into the hallway. Someone did come out of their room, but once they acknowledged an armed Vega pointing her gun their way, they were quick to quietly return for the time being. Vega didn't want any unnecessary deaths on her hands. She had her targets so she stayed fixed on them.

She halted in her path and sighed. Searching room by room weren't going to help her; it'd be wasting time she didn't have. As a result, she turned her eyes to her wrist piece and danced her fingers over the screen. An elegant beep signified her hacking of the hotel database where she could see what room the targets were assigned to. Should have done that in the first place, but never mind. She was doing it now. “Got 'em.” She mumbled to herself, and also the second bounty hunter. She transmitted the information over the Stardust in order to save her time as well. They were the next level down, lingering in a room halfway down the hallway. Vega marked the location on her map and continued to march down the hallway above until she came to the room above the targets'. A fierce kick to the door busted it open before Vega marched inside. Thankfully no one was in there. Darkness obscured the majority of the room, just how she liked it.

“They're on the third level from the top, but I'm getting another lifeforce coming from room. Perhaps they ordered some kind of room service, but we don't have time to waste on waiting for that individual to leave. I'm going in from above; I suggest you push forth and block them from the doorway. You should already be there by now, I sent the coordinates a moment ago.” With that said, Vega fell silent for the time being and squatted down. Scorched digits brushed over the rough floor. She could feel it. The vibration rattling through the floor as voices became barely audible below. Didn't sound like her target, though. Perhaps that was room service talking, but oh well.

Vega pointed the barrel if the rifle again the floor, a finger still stroking the trigger while her hand reached for a grenade among her respective side. From there she didn't wait no longer; the Sith opened fire on the floor, bullets piercing through the ceiling below which sprayed around the room. She didn't know whether any hit the targets, but that weren't her intentions - oh no. She only wanted to form a big enough hole in the floor so she could drop a cannister down through the gauge. The cannister bounced across the floor, rolling towards the door before an outburst of smoke erupted, casting obscurity within the room. That same smoke seeped up through the gaps and into Vega's room, but there was a reason she kept the respirator around her face. The canister carried a fraction of radiated essence, mostly cosmic dust one would find in celestial clouds of nebulas. It usually didn't kill, but it still incapacitated. Incapacitated enough for the second bounty hunter to breach the room and do her business.

Someone answered at the door, and Solo almost laughed. He had to put his hand over his mouth, or at least where it would be were he not wearing a helmet. He knew it didn't help, it was just natural instinct for him to cover his mouth when he knew he shouldn't be laughing. The accent was well done, but laughable nonetheless. Solo knew exactly who was in that room, he was a bounty hunter, not a hired goon. You didn't get off that easy.

His sensors picked up sudden and intense heat. The twi'lek melted the chain lock and barged into the room. She was in the room before he could draw and shoot, but he didn't when he heard what she had to say from where he stood. His hands relaxed. Just what in the damn Force was she doing siding with them? That was his move. "She stole fracken' idea," he cursed silently under his breath. Yet if what she said was true, that could work in his favor. If her and the other hunter fought over the targets, it would make Solo's job all the much easier. Heck, he could pull up a lawn chair, fire up the barbie and enjoy the show.

The twist of events was punctuated by gunfire. He heard shouting, a metal clang against the floor and then smoke ooze out of the room with growing intensity. His hand snapped over his holstered DXR, drawing it with the expertise and speed of a veteran of the Outer Rim. He stood back from the door he had been pretending to get through, reared his leg up and kicked forward. The lock snapped under concentrated pressure, and the door swung open. He dove in, DXR charging to full capacity, and took cover, waiting and listening for whatever happened in the room across.

Like Julian (unbeknownst to her), Dryzl's first instinct to Akio's accent was to laugh. Not because it was terrible, but because it just sounded so...silly. Nonetheless, she stepped back and let the other Chiss take charge, silently holding in a chuckle.

Of course, she quickly stopped laughing internally when she heard what the Twi'lek had to say.

Stepping back, a hand flying to the butt of her gun, the woman was startled by the aggressive -- almost desperate -- actions of the Hunter. What other employer? She could not think of which one -- many would have had cause to hire a bounty hunter.

But before she could truly process these emotions, the ceiling exploded. The sound of bullets fired rang in her ears, but her only thought was to get Akio out. Come on, Akio! Her one hand shot out to grab the Chiss, pushing her ahead of him. Her bodyguard instincts were kicking in, and right now that meant Akio was her ward and she was the guard.

Smoke quickly filled the room, but after two seconds it was clear this wasn't ordinary smoke. Despite her attempts to not breathe, Dryzl could already feel a slight heaviness on her limbs. "Don't-- Breathe--" she choked out. "The-- Smoke--"

Akio Diachi

For it was All but a Dream
Smoke. Toxins. It is like poison in the air. It is your greatest ally, or you worst enemy, which will it be?

Akio looked up. The figure of one of his past mentors walked through the smoke like a stalking figure. He was the same as Akio remembered him-- a sword stick from his chest, a gash across his throat, an eye freshly gouged out, and his robes tattered and soaked in blood. The Chiss grit his teeth and shook his head, winching, "You--your dead."

And you will be too if you do not act quickly, said the ghost moving closer. And your little--pet will be too.

Akio could feel himself sinking to his knees, not from the gas but a new psychotic break down. In the force it could be felt like shards of glass being stabbed into the mind--and under the skin in palpitate pain.

The ascended masters never favored you, scorned the master standing right over him. I was against accepting you. Your weak. You always were, you always have been.

Akio swat away, "No."

You are a failure.

"No!"

You deserve to die.

"Stop!!"

Your PET deserves to die as well--she believe in you, she made you weak, you filthy blue weakling.

"NO!" Akio roared lashing out, his vengance going as a stunning shove in the force, "get the hell out of my head!!!

He wrapped both his arms around Dryzl and sprinted towards the nearest window. His power, his strength back like a torrent. He leaped out of it, glass shower around them as they began a 20 story free fall. A normal being would die from the fall. Akio was nothing normal. He twisted around, his heel shattering another window and he whipped his body in after it, carefully absorbing the blow on himself, letting Dryzl land safely on him. As they rolled the impact out, he grunted, feeling himself get bounced around. Blood flowed from several lacerations on his skin. A thousand bruises on his body screamed out in agony. He stood up, the pain was nothing--he had felt it his whole life. Dryzl, she was his primary concern.

Obscurity of the smoke rendered Vega's sight on her targets useless. Her ears still benefited her finely, though. She could hear the exchange of words which occurred below, both pissing her off and worrying her at the same time. Whoever they were, they sounded like something from her target's past, getting in her way via their presentation. She didn't need this interruption; she didn't need the snitching the second bounty hunter happened to come to confess to as well. "Idiot," Vega grunted out under her respirator, both to herself and the bounty hunter. She knew she should have taken this mission alone; it was like her subconscious was bashing at her brain when the offer to team up earlier presented itself. She should have taken the warning, but there was nothing she could do for now. The sound of the glass shattering dragged her away from the annoyance of the betrayal. Someone clearly exited the room via a window, and she could only suspect it was her targets. Vega lunged at the window opposite, backing her gun into it so she could peer down just in time to see her targets getting away. To move in such a way meant they were obviously skilled in maneuvering. As a result, Vega threw the gun onto her back and elbowed the remnants of the glass away from the frame so she could climb through. From there she proceeded to descend down from one window frame to another until she could swing her physique through the same one her targets fled through. Vega maneuvered into a roll upon entering; the gun immediately being pulled from her back once she lifted herself to her feet. It was dark, and at the moment quite quiet. However, Vega didn't let that sway towards the benefit of her targets. Without a second to doubt her actions she opened fire, bullets spraying ahead without a specific target to fall upon. It was more of a distraction while her other hand reached for another canister and flipped the switch. The only thing standing between it going off was Vega's scorched digit. She proceeded forward slowly with her hand tightly grasping the canister. It was more of a martyrdom at the moment. If an opponent came to ambush her then she'd immediately activate the bomb, spraying them all in the radioactive fumes. Such actions were absolutely necessary.

She landed behind Vega and held her gun out"we can go easy....or hard friends on your choosing"she said keeping it leveled before watching her fire and crutch a canister, what the hell was she doing?! Suicide or something else...she had to stop it"vega...your gonna hate me I'm sorry"she said and released a force blast at her back and drew her sabers

Glass shattered, and he heard a commotion going on between two people. He recognized one of them as being the Twi'lek, the other as a different individual. He couldn't hear the Chiss. The first thought that came to mind is the damn bounty hunters tossed them out the window. Kark. He ran out of the room he was in, sprinted down the hallway and near-dove into the stairwell, skipping two and three steps at a time to get to the ground floor fastest.

He heard shrieking from a woman on the floor he was on. That was them. What else could it be. Or it was the Hunters causing trouble, either way, he was investigating. He flung open the stairwell door and ran down the hallway until he saw a man, woman and their child flee from their hotel room, screaming as they ran. He raised his DXR-2 and was prepared to fire. He had to think this all through if he had any hope of catching his targets in time.

He stood beside the door and could hear the Twi'lek again. How in the Force did she get there faster than me, I took the stairs and the elevator hasn't even arrived yet, he thought to himself. Doesn't matter, he was going on. He stood back and slightly open door frame with his left hand. In one heave he tore it off its hinges, shattering wood and twisting metal. Damn, I loved crushgaunts. He moved into the room and shouted, "Room service!"

He saw Vega, grasping the canister. He didn't like it. The gunslinger in him peered down the iron sights and fired with the disruptor pistol, attempting to blast it out of her hand. If he hit it, it would destroy it on a sub-atomic level, disintegrating it. If he missed, whatever it hit was going to turn to a pile of warm ash.

Dryzl recovered quickly, considering Akio had just dragged them both through one window, down twenty stories, and then into another room. She had to. If she didn't, it was guaranteed that her knees would become jelly and she'd lock up. Plus, the woman was fairly certain Akio had had another one of his hallucinations, unless she was the one he was yelling at to get out of his head.

It happened before. When they first met. And he killed that man.

So many deaths since then...and now, she had her hands bloody too.

Think about that later. Focus now.

Shaking her head to get the glass remnants out of her hair, Dryzl rolled off of Akio as carefully as she could. Glass shards crunched underneath her hands and knees, and the woman had to bite back a soft yelp as one shard sliced up her kneecap. She, at least, did not look like someone had tossed her into a grinder.

There were two beds in this room. Dryzl dragged Akio in between them, holding him up as she remained alert. Whatever toxins that had been affecting her limbs was quickly fading; Chiss metabolism, which was markedly higher than most other species, and the adrenaline rush were the most likely culprits. "Akio--"

Suddenly the room was filled with the noise of blasterfire, no doubt from the same individual(s) who deemed it necessary to open up a whole in their ceiling. Ducking low, Dryzl felt her heart pounding. How were they going to get out? Even with the Twi'lek helping them -- if indeed she was sincere -- they'd be hard-pressed to escape without more authorities on their tails. In fact, they were probably on their way now.

Adding to the noise were the sounds of lightsabers igniting as well as another new voice calling out "Room service!"

While all hell was prepping to break loose, Dryzl peeked up from behind the bed. There were three individuals in total, including the Twi'lek (who had the lightsabers, as well). "Frak." They were also blocking the door. "Double frak."

If they hadn't been in immediate danger, Dryzl would have slapped herself for such language. Never had she had the occasion to curse, preferring to use her breath for better things. Like figuring out a way to get out. "Frak!" She said again.

Leaning close to Akio, she whispered, "Cssah tut'ut. Tusbi vim K'an'arcr cart lcet'i. Hsin'b bicit beaskir, vim to ch'atah en'i viz ch'a hsan'ibi. Nah to Csce'tav." The woman withdrew her gun awkwardly, then sighed. "Cart hah cssi ch'itksoo ch'at vizehn ch'eo ch'ascim?"
