Ruling on the rebellions

The ruling on the Onderon rebellion was a win for FWC. Gray Raxis conceded that as the writers he had sign up had to bow out and could offer no resistance to FWC. So great job there.

On the Hapes rebellion, the victory went to Kur's Dozen. Here is the entire ruling that was given to me.

Participation: Both factions showed heavy participation with consistent activity on both sides. However, there was very little direct interaction between the two factions during the 10 day period of the rebellion. There was some indirect interaction between Zyrias and Codename: Cypher, but that was practically the only interaction that took place between both factions. There appeared to be a reasonable amount of time between posts - it didn’t appear that either side waited very long. It regards to cooperation it appeared the rebelling faction (Kur’s dozen) was more cohesive and had a set of goals in mind that they worked together to achieve, whereas the Free Worlds Coalition members seemed more isolated from each other and didn’t seem to really cooperate much as a whole. - Kur’s Dozen leads here.

Tension: Both factions performed roughly on par with the other here, with a few individual members from one side performing an action that placed the other at risk and then being reacted to with a similar response level - neither faction was quite able to take advantage of the actions or circumstances of the other, and any attempts to do so were met with appropriate responses that proved effective. - Tie.

Story: Both factions had several individual storylines of interest here, although in the context of the rebellion and whether or not the actions made much sense things became a little more murky. The storyline at the center of the rebellion’s movement, reflected in the actions made by Tmoxin Temi, Kyrel Ren, Allana Badeaux, and Relina Zhan, was the most engaging portion of the rebellion - leaving the reader with a genuine interest in seeing what was to come next. There were a few side stories on each side that were of note, with some slicing shenanigans capturing attention here and there on both sides, but several of the Free Worlds Coalition side stories were so far removed from the actual events of the rebellion that they seemed ancillary and did not pick up as much interest as the plots made by some of the groups in the rebelling faction that were acting separate from the main events of the rebellion - such as the power outage attempts, the infiltration attempts, and so on. Both factions, when interacting with each other, acknowledged the actions of the other and both sides felt the impact of the decisions made on both sides - though this was slightly hurt, again, by several stories on the FWC side that kept themselves isolated from the events of the rebellion itself. - Kur’s Dozen leads here.

Drama: Neither side instigated any out-of-character drama, and both sides were respectful of each other and reached out to each other in a cordial manner through the OOC discussion thread. - Tie.

So thank you to all that participated and helped with both of these. Now to look to our future!
