The baleful blood never rests.
Some forms of darkness, creeping from the shadows of the Unknown Regions of space, twinkling blots of darkness on the distant stars of the galaxy, simply exist to be. There are some forms of ruination that are abyssal in natural, ancient, divinely mandated, a gore soaked abhorrence of the night.
Skriken thinks himself the harbinger of such darkness.
A decaying vessel lurks between stars, the half-dead labor to keep it’s husk of a frame drifting. A relic from a bygone era, demanding tribute from unlucky travelers and wayward worlds.
Flesh and blood. Meat and tendons. Bone and death.
Those that are lucky are fallen in the raid, or consumed while they still draw breath. A living death is a better fate than what awaits those drawn into the maw of the Hammerhead.
Thralls, flesh-crazed cannibals, conditions beyond torment, a living hell between the dying stars.
That is the domain of Skriken, an abyss in the force, a waking wound upon the light.
He revels in the despair, the nightmare, the pain and misery.
It sustains him, as long as the blood flows, as long as gore and entrails matte his fur, he will endure.
A creature of the dark.
