Round 1: Blood and Sand (Lord Ajihad vs Jareth Johnathon Holst)

*Jareth felt the shrapnel dig into his body, it was strong enough to hurt him, but it had peppered more generally across his body, resulting in shrapnel across his chest primarily and on the lower part of his face. Jareth used the favored technique of his old master to take the pain he felt and use it to bolster his strength resulting in a slightly renewed vigor. He managed through this vigor to bring his sword up against the blade of Ajihad. He was still in a disadvantageous position, but removing one of the sabers and slowing the strike slightly was enough to keep him well in the fight.*

Though the loss of a lightsaber would be a burden to him without a doubt, Lord Ajihad could cope. He could feel Jareth turning his pain into power, an ability wrought through emotion. Ajihad would take advantage of this, and managed to feed on a small bit of the transformed power. It wasn't much, but it'd help.

As the two blades made contact, the Demon's Fist would initiate a saber lock, making it pretty difficult for either of the combatants to move their lightsabers until the bond was broken. With the saberless hand, Vi'kas unsheathed his fighting claws, swooping in quickly to try and sever Jareth's saber wrist. The move would be unexpected, as his opponent had only seen the claws in his other hand. Hopefully between the fact that Jareth would have a hard time moving his wrist and the unexpected emergence of his second pair of claws, he'd be able to either sever or deal heavy damage to Jareth's wrist. This fighting was certainly beginning to drain Ajihad, and he didn't know how much he had left in him.

*it was true, jareth was surprised by the claws to a degree. He had assumed that they would exist; however, he had been to distracted to take that into account with his defense. His wrist was sliced and he had to drop his light saber to prevent the cut from completely severing his hand. Long bloody streaks ran from his hand at an angle down to just below his wrist but he had dropped the saber just in time. He would however try and use that to his advantage, as he dropped the saber from his right hand, his left hand came up toward his opponents right hand as he started to roll away to his left side, his wrist flicked down as he made the motion up, activating his wrist mounted assassin light saber. The blade would be between his opponents right wrist and Jareth. Hopefully the momentum from the unexpected release of the blade on Jareths part in addition to the movement upwards would cause his opponent to sever his wrist against the blade as jareth rolled out of the way to relative safety.*
