Round 1 Asar Anchti Vs Krest

@[member="Asar Anchti"] Vs @[member="Krest"]

Biome: Urban
Rules: Blasters and any ranged weapon of the users choice, and fists

Small buildings lines the streets of a human looking city block. Speeders and various huts were parked and placed around the two hundred meter city block. Tons of places to hide, take cover, or even ambush ones opponent. The place looked like any other city block, the tallest building was only ten stories however and the entire area was fenced off from the outside. The ghost town was quiet and ready for havoc to break out around it. The premacrete streets cracked slightly with age, everything was set and ready for the duelists to begin on opposite sides of the biome. And as for the norm, the voice rang out signaling to start. "FIGHT!!"

Asar unholstered his two DH-17s that he bought with several other weapons solely for this tournament. He regretted the restriction of lightsaber use as he didn't really have any training with fire weapons of any kind and thus this match would prove very difficult, he knew. HUD in the helmet recognized a single life form on the other side of the block. It would be easier just to run straight towards his opponent, but Asar had something else in mind. He headed to the nearest alley to try and find the best spot for an ambush. Meanwhile he reached out with The Force to pinpoint location of @[member="Krest"]. Although lightsabers were banned in this match there was no rule restricting use of Force. And he decided to take advantage of that.

Krest walked slowly down to the center of the city. The Zabrak stared at the broken city through his visor, almost as if he was scanning for his foe. In truth he was simply taking in the area. Short buildings, skyscrapers, plenty of places to lure a foe in. But the idea of an ambush annoyed Krest. He preferred open combat. No tricks, no hiding, simply hand to hand. Or sword to sword. But this wouldn't be so simple. He moved towards the tallest building he could find, and climbed to the top.

He felt @Asar Anchti reach out to him once he reached his goal. But it worked out for the Zabrak. He looked over the city, cupping his hands around his mouth. "If you're planning on hiding for this whole thing let me know!" He set his hands on his sides then, flexing his fingers. Without his blade this would be much more difficult then needed, but he needed to follow the rules.

Asar spotted @[member="Krest"] climbing to one of the buildings and a later while he heard his taunt. Sure, don't worry. he smirked under his breathing mask and ran around another building changing the direction towards his opponent. He wasn't stupid enough to reveal himself and thus he kept in the shadows. When he was about 80 meters from the building where the Zabrak was standing, Asar stopped and aimed at him. With quick calculations within his HUD capacity he astimated the distance between himself and @[member="Krest"] at about 85 meters. This was far beyond optimum range of his weapons, but it wasn't even close to their maximum range. The Kel-Dor aimed both of his weapons at the Zabrak. Although, not very skillful with them, he helped himself with Force and fired two shots at his opponent, hoping that at least one would scratch him.

Krest smiled behind his helm. Tugging on the bond shortly after his yell, he felt @Asar Anchti come closer. But the Zabrak had made a miscalculation. The first shot flew by his head, but the second slammed into his shoulders, sending the Zabrak onto his back. There he laid for a moment, collecting himself. He sits up, far from any visible ledge on the ten story building and called out to the Sith.

"Gah, you're one of those kind of fighters! Hiding from the shadows. Bah!" The Zabrak rubbed his shoulder slightly, then pulls out a small tool. He sets to work on the robotic limb, fixing it as best he could. At least being on the highest building he wont have to deal with more fire. If the Sith wanted to win, he was going to have to come to the top. And then they'd be on his turf.

Asar cursed silently when @[member="Krest"] stepped out of sight. Although he expected it, he still didn't like it, because it meant he had to get to his opponent to continue the fight. The Kel-Dor climbed the building quicker than the Zabrak few minutes ago. A second before he got himself over the ledge, Asar focused all his attunment to The Force. When he reached the top of his abilities, he jumped jumped on the roof and in the same moment released a wave of Force Push in 360° diameter to prevent any incoming attacks. Once on the roof, the Sith holstered his weapons and charged the Zabrak.

Krest was still plopped down on the roof of the building while the Kel-Dor climbed his way up. In fact, he was still sitting once the Kel-Dor leaped onto the roof. He made no move to attack the leaping Sith and simply stood. He moved forward then, using the force to speed his movements and intercept @Asar Anchti charge. Once close the Zabrak would move to the left, bringing around his fist for the Sith's throat on his way past.

Noticing @[member="Krest"] s intentions, Asar swiftly ducked under his opponent's fist. However he had too high speed to just evade the counter attack and finished his movement with ungraceful sommersault to the opposite end of the roof. The Kel-Dor stopped himself just a second before his fall over the roof. He quickly jumped on his feet ready for another attack that would surely come in a moment.

Krest slides to a stop. He turns to @Asar Anchti, bouncing on his heels. He keeps his hands high, almost as if he was a boxer. Once more he pushes off using the force, dashing right for the Sith. He throws a right overhead punch as a feint, crouching down instead. He pushes himself up from the crouched position, aiming his left fist for an uppercut to Asar's chin. He knew very well how close they were to the edge, and he had every intention of using it to his advantage.

@[member="Krest"] 's attack caught Asar unprepared right to the chin. Fortunatelly, the Kel-Dor had his helmet on, which damped the force of the punch enough for Asar to get his footing again instead of falling through the ledge. This time he answered the attack with one of his own. He attacked the Zabrak with series of quick punches from both sides. Once the both of them fell in the rhythm of punch/block sequence, Asar changed his tactics and tried to surprise the oponent with raised knee, aiming towards the abdomen of @[member="Krest"].

Krest took two punches to the side before sliding his way back from @Asar Anchti, breaking off the rhythm before it even started. He brought up his hands, both open palmed, and set into a three punch motion. With each punch he sent a wave of the Force, essentially using Force Push to extend the length of his punches. He aims two for the Sith's chest, and one for his helm, focusing intently on each push. The pushes themselves were focused, only pushing in a small cylinder. They'd hit like he would, only stronger and faster.

Asar felt a surge of Force within @[member="Krest"] and he guessed what his opponent was planning. He used a combination of Shien and Soresu evasive techniques to dodge the attacks and get behind Krest's back at the same time. If he succeeded, the Kel-Dor used both hands to hit Zabrak's back both physically and with Force through Force Push technique, trying to throw his opponent through the ledge.

Krest continued his way back, turning to focus on @Asar Anchti as he moved. He wouldn't give his back at all, and instead slammed his foot down. He'd send a surge of force in a circle, attempting to put the Sith off balance. If he succeeded, he'd launch two more force fists towards the off balance Sith. If not, he'd go defensive, holding his arms up to protect his head much like a boxer would. Either way, he watched @Asar Anchti intently, his gaze never wavering.

There was no way such a technique would affect somebody like Asar. He simply withstood small trembling within the floor. Still circling around @[member="Krest"], the Kel-Dor thought about his next attack. It seemed the opponent decided to go fully defensive. Then it hit him. The Kel-Dor sent a Force wave in front of himself through his extended left arm. However that was only cover. Right as the wave was moving to @[member="Krest"], the Kel-Dor let his right hand fall on his weapon in the holster. He quickly unholstered it and fired twice at the Zabrak.

Krest moves instantly. He jumps into the wave, quickly punching near the center. With his own Force he canceled out the wave. While still in the air, he sent another punch towards the Sith, but that didn't stop the blaster fire. The two slam into his armored chest, sending him to his back. He lay there for a moment, the metallic plates charred from the absorption of the fire. But his punch still went through. He quickly got back up to his feet, looking to see the damage his Force-Boxing might of done.

[SIZE=12pt]Asar got hit by the last force punch directly. He spun few times before he could get his feet under himself and stop. However, he couldn’t hold a grip on his weapon. DH-17 with a great arc fell over the ledge. He didn’t have luxury to think about the loss though. The Kel-Dor decided to use the newest technique in his repertoire – Force Fear. He bowed his head a bit, focusing and concentrating Dark Side within him. Then he let out a wave, similar to Force Push waver, but instead of physically moving targets this one aimed to the psyche of the victim to activate and sensitizing one’s primal fears. If necessary it could drive others mad, but this time, the Kel-Dor only meant to distract and throw out of balance the opponent. When the wave was meant to hit @[member="Krest"], Asar charged the Zabrak. He wanted to hit him with shoulder hoping to push him from the roof.[/SIZE]

Krest froze for just a moment. His mind flashed with the image of a Falleen girl, one he knew well. She was dead, sprawled out on the floor. But the image didn't stay long. His fear was something he had already faced, and it wasn't something that was going to stop him anymore. He moved swiftly, once again drawing on the force to spur his movements. With both arms he went to catch @Asar Anchti by his waist. Using the sith's own momentum against him, he went to throw @Asar Anchti over him, and off the ledge.

Asar was too fast to stop and he found himself in locked grip with @[member="Krest"]. It wasn't the first time Asar faced somebody who was heavier than him and he knew techniques that let him stand his ground. He widened his footing and crouched slightly to improve his balance. Then he pushed, trying to wrestle out the opponent. He infused his physical abilities with help of The Force as he was sure his opponent would do.

Krest kept himself still, teetering on the edge. For a moment the Zabrak regretted picking the taller building, but then he had an idea. He kicked out for the Siths leg then, trying to kick them out from under him. At the same time though, he moves his robotic hand to lock it around @Asar Anchti's wrist. Then he does the unthinkable. He moves to pull both himself and the Sith off the edge, and down the ten stories in the fastest fashion possible.

@[member="Krest"]'s unexpected move caught Asar totally unprepared. As a result he found himself falling down from the roof together with his opponent. What the hell is he thinking?! Asar thought angrily. In an instant he focused The Force in him and with its help he try to catch any jut or ledge his hands could find. Finally he stopped his fall when he caught on window sill somewhere around fifth or sixth floor. However, the weight of his opponent hanging on his wrist was too big. Asar's hand slipped from the sill and he was falling again. This time, Asar used The Force to wrap himself in it, expecting hard impact. He did everything he could to get the Zabrak under him, so @[member="Krest"] would fall on the ground and Asar on him.
