Hal Terrano
Prince of Porridge
Ossus Jedi Academy
Hal Terrano stared hard at the symbol that sat nestled in the palm of his hand.
It was the symbol of the Jedi Order.
Dark times were nestled upon the horizon. Coruscant had been conquered, worse still, conquered by Sith. It lead the Padawan to question why. Had the Republic grown stagnant? Caught in the turmoil over leadership issues? Simply over-confident? With the Sith Empire left in tatters there had been hope, and now...
His hand closed over the symbol, the edges of the pendant digging into the flesh of his hand.
Why wasn't he there? If he had been there, if he could have even prevented a single Jedi from falling it would have been a difference. The pendant cut into his trembling palm, drawing blood and for a few moments Hal simply sat there cross-legged on the floor of the training room.
No. There could be no room for blame. No room for doubt.
There could only be justice.
