[+]Calm and Effective: There are two types of 'daring' people. Those who can get themselves out of any of the nightmares they get themselves stuck into, and those who are dead. Ronin happens to still be very much alive.
[+]Patience: Patience is a virtue, and that's a fact. Interestingly, this is more of a battlefield trait than a personality one. Ronin's casual self is extremely impatient.
[0]Nonchalant: Ronin rarely if ever sees the need to approach anything with seriousness. He does however realize that seriousness is often necessary. This trait means he is much more likely to make friends, and he's responsible enough to not get killed by being an idiot. However, while his casual attitude will probably never lead to his direct demise, it's certainly gotten him into plenty of risky situations.
[0]A Scale of Mercy: Generally, Ronin doesn't like to kill people if he can get away with it, but at the end of the day he has no serious objections to the habit, especially for enemies. He tends to try and avoid killing even more if the person is doing their job, if it's legitimate work, such as a security guard. When it comes to people who have no potential to harm him, Ronin will avoid harming them if at all possible, preferring to not even stun innocents if it can be avoided.
[0]Childish: If he's not in any danger, Ronin can often be quite childish
[-]Enemies Close: Ronin is astoundingly bad at CQC, and tries to avoid getting close to enemies whenever possible as a result.
[-]My Will Is My Own: Regardless of the situation and regardless of the consequences, Ronin will do what he thinks is right. To Ronin, every person is expected to live their life their own way, and he is no different.

Ronin was born on Cordelia, and lived a life among the scum of the galaxy that frequented the place. Well to be fair, he frequented their places. Cantinas, bars, starports, wherever you could find offworlders, that's where Ronin was. He loved talking with the rookie spacers who were so excited by what little of the galaxy they had seen. He loved talking with the vetrans who had been to a thousand planets, and who wouldn't have flinched in the most unusual of scenarios. In these places, Ronin saw good, and he saw bad. But he also saw that in these places, people were themselves, and that was inherently good. He loved going to these places because they were always partially hidden from the law. These were places where people were not tied down by standards set by society. These people cut their own way, and they were better for it. Theirs was a true freedom, one that all people ought to have.
Only when someone had no obligations could they be themselves.
When he reached the age of 21, Ronin finally managed to gain enough money to buy a starship, and with it, he set off into the galaxy.
