Profile:

Name: Ronar
Titles: None
Faction: The Brotherhood of the Maw
Rank: Magnar, Lord of Wolves
Species: Human (Cyborg)
Age: 24
Sex: Male
Height: 6'0
Weight: 200 lbs
Eyes: Green
Hair: Brown
Skin: White
Force Sensitive: No

Strengths and Weaknesses:

Born to War (+): Ronar was born the son of a great warlord, and without the blessing of the firstborn was forced to fight and struggle and claw his way to respect in his father’s court. As such he is a formidable warrior, well-versed in the deadly arts of blaster, blade, and fist.

Cybernetics (+): Ronar has used much of the ill-gotten gains obtained in his father’s service to augment his body with crude cybernetic implants. He has cybernetic eyes that increase his vision and can see into the infrared spectrum, a cybernetic right arm with enhanced strength and a quickened trigger finger, and an implanted antidote injector that makes him immune to all but the rarest poisons.

Ruthless (o): Raised in a court of marauders and killers, Ronar learned early that pain, fear, and death are great tools if wielded properly. His constant struggles to maintain his position in his father’s gaze honed this knowledge to a razor’s edge, and the young warrior has lost all care for mercy or empathy, except that which advances his own cruel agendas. That being said, cruelty begets arrogance, and woe betide the cat who plays too long with the mouse…

Weak to the Force (-): Though cunning and strong of will, Ronar, like many of his tribe, grew up with little knowledge or first-hand experience of the Force. Due to his arrogant nature, this has led to a dismissive attitude to the “space wizards”, making Ronar more susceptible to subtle manipulation, and more fearful of overt displays of power.

Paranoid (-): Though a relentless force on the battlefield, who would rather die than fail, there are things even Ronar fears. Betrayal, manipulation, subversion...all that he wields as weapons, he knows could just as easily be turned against him. He trusts no one, and the slightest hint of disloyalty, real or perceived, is met with brutal retribution.

Appearance:

Tall, muscled human with a crude cybernetic arm. Face is chiseled and lined with old scars, with long, wild brown hair and artificial-looking green eyes. Typically dresses in his old ceremonial bone armor, with a black knee-length tunic underneath. When not expecting combat he wears the tunic only. Carries a blaster pistol in a hip holster and a two-handed vibroaxe in a crude back sling.

Background:

The man known only as Ronar was born in the Unknown Reaches, as the third son of a tyrannical planetary warlord. His people were as savage as they were advanced, capable of space travel yet trapped in a society where the strong prospered and the weak starved. Lacking the blessing of the firstborn, he constantly struggled with his brothers and sisters for their father’s favor, learning quickly how to navigate a world in which a vibroblade in the back came as quickly as a blaster bolt between the eyes. It wasn’t just threats from his family either; his father had many enemies, and an unquenchable lust for money, slaves, and territory. As a lesser child Ronar often found himself thrown into the battle line or shoved aboard a raiding ship, luck and skill at arms the only things separating death and survival.

But survive he did, and over time the young warrior flourished into a true exemplar of his people’s savage ways. Unfortunately, not even he was prepared when his father’s closest advisor led a bloody coup that toppled the tyrant from power. Threatened with execution or worse, Ronar fled in a stolen starship, the sole survivor of the doomed regime. Rather than mourn, Ronar vowed to never be as weak as his fallen patriarch. Aiming his ship towards settled space, he prepared to repeat the success of his childhood. He would carve his own place, shape his own destiny, and make the galaxy quake before him.

Ships:
Broken Halo: Ronar's primary means of transportation, stolen during his escape from his doomed father's compound. It is A B-7 light freighter, modified for raiding with an additional laser cannon, for a total of two, and two force-field prisoner cages in the cargo hold. Ronar has also added a rudimentary torture rack alongside the prisoner cages.

Items:
Bloodreaver: Ronar's trusty two-handed vibroaxe, given to him by his father on the date of his first raid. More a tool to inspire fear than a real battle weapon, Ronar rarely wields it in intense combat unless the situation is optimal. Nevertheless it never leaves his side and is a strong symbol of his willingness to spill blood in pursuit of his goals.

Bone Armor: Though they have discovered all the various forms of metallurgy of a space-age society, Ronar's tribe still used sets of bone armor, crafted from the skeletons of hunted beasts, as a way to inspire fear and awe during ceremonial events and audiences. Ronar was wearing his own set when his father's compound was attacked, and still wears it for its pure shock value. Though capable of deflecting basic melee attacks, the armor provides little other defense.

Cortosis Sword: A basic cortosis sword taken from a Maw officer Ronar killed during his attempts to gain followers after joining the Brotherhood. More effective than Bloodreaver for battling saber-wielders, and more easily able to be wielded in concert with a sidearm, Ronar keeps this weapon sheathed on his hip at all times.

SHT-07 "Hound" Personal Combat Armor: A set of standard Maw armor, taken from their armories following Ronar's battle on Mustafar. Ronar replaced his bone armor with this set as his main battlefield protection following his battle on Mustafar.

HH-38 “Geysa” Hybrid Pistol: A standard Maw pistol, taken from their armories following Ronar's battle on Mustafar. Ronar replaced his Glie-44 blaster pistol with this weapon.
