Rome wasn't built in a day, nor was my ship

NPC Sith time :) time to show you what Kei can do

He watched his new friend slowly. She was interesting, different to the other Jedi he'd met. The other Jedi all seemed focused on one job, his friend seemed to be at peace, happy to work with people. She was Atrisian, Kei knew that just by looking at her. Her home world had fallen to the Sith, a ruler sat over his people. Kei shuddered slowly, stepping into the small clearing with T3 and his new friend in tow.

He eyed her lightsaber slowly, unsure of what it was. It was a plasma weapon, he knew that much. It wasn't as wild as a blaster, he'd seen one go to work on a few thugs. It was a violent weapon, but a controlled weapon, one that could only cause as much harm as the person wielding it.

It was at that moment, before Kei even got to talk that everything happened at once. He felt two figures, both stepping forward, red blades sliding from their belts. Sith, some of the worst friends in the galaxy. One of then shouted something that could of easily been "You will die", then they charged.

The city was desolate and abandoned but she knew that wasn't really a thing... really that was when it was more dangerous with a number of the different things they were handling. All of her attention going towards the bigger things they had like the buildings to explore and seeing the smuggler.. who admitted to a jedi such... Strange while she stood there for a moment making sure her equipment was secured and not going to rattle around. Then there was soemthing coming out at them while she moved with most of her attention towards the pair while her hand went to her saber and was prepared for a duel but she stilled. Force energies flowing before moving off towards the attention. "Look out."

His fingers wrapped around his blaster as one of the Sith charged towards him, the other, clearly more skilled, stood silently, preparing for a duel against the trained Jedi. Kei felt his body roll back, narrowly avoiding the wild slash from the plasma blade. Chances are, the burning plasma would hurt, if not even slice the body apart. Kei, truthfully, didn't want to find out, and he raised his blaster quickly, a shot from the end of the gun.

T3 rushed aboard ship, Kei sent another shot towards the Sith, the man easily blocking it with his weapon. Kei grunted, falling back again, fingers wrapping around the blaster as he sent yet another shot. He had an entire armory aboard his ship, why did the Jedi have to be fighting close to it. He sent another shot, the Sith gaining. The blaster was useless against the weapon, and he thought that as he holstered his own blade.

He eyed Miss Noriko, nodding.

"Tell me you have a spare light blade?!"

She looked at him moving and pulled her saber staff up as she spoke. "Nope just the one." Moving with her attention on the one standing his blade activated and she twirled hers in her hand. The duel snap hisses came as he moved forward with her able to catch his blade while she moved with the force. Her second blade sweeping down while pushing up with the first to go behind his leg and slice before she pivoted kicking him in the small of the back with a force enhanced kick. She was looking at Kei and pulled at the one coming after him to distract and keep him occupied instead of just leaving them to fight for themselves. She focused back on the one she was dueling as he was getting up and she moved forward gripping the blade with one hand ready to duel him. "This is going to be fun."

He stepped backwards again, ducking a shot from the plasma blade, reaching his hand out like he was taught. He sighed, nothing happening. The force was in him, he just had to make sure he could get it to work for him. He jumped back again, picking a rock up from the floor. He threw it towards the Sith, no reaction. The Sith continued forward, a look of pure rage in his eyes, and Kei continued to move back.

He reached his hand out again, life or death. He forced, he pushed everything into the force, and slowly saw the Sith fall backwards. He wasn't a strong force user, but the force push he applied gave him enough time to think of a plan B. He smiled to himself, sprinting forward, throwing himself onto the Sith, the man who was getting his feelings back. The lightsaber rolled to the side of the two as Kei unloaded on the Sith, fist after fist reigning down.

Then he saw blue, felt pain.

She was moving with the saber and attacking the other as she could hear Kei with his fight for all of it. Attention on some of the larger things locking blades with him and the man was limping to try and keep up with her blade and foot. Coming around in a pivot again as she swept the blade to spin the other with her and let her sabers blade get in close. The shouts as his hands fell to the ground before he was passing out from the shock was there when she stayed upright and kicked the force energies forward to take the saber that had clattered. She couldn't wield it but she could protect it while going over a few of the things casting her hands out while she pushed to send the one attacking Kei into the air for him to sheet shoot."

Force lightning hurt, it stung. He grunted, pulling himself to his feet, eyeing the man currently floating above him. Unslinging his blaster, he placed it into the air, unloading into the Sith, watching him fall to the floor. He grunted again, walking back to his friend. His jacket was singed due to the attacks from the plasma blade and the lightning, and the cool metal of the Sith's blade in his fingers made him feel dirty.

It was the weapon of a murderer.

He nodded, noting the pain shooting through his body. Sith were powerful, but pain would pass in time, all happened. Pain was strength in some ways, it made you realize you were human, but that you needed to get slightly better to avoid the pain. He held the weapon out towards his friend, the cold metal plain and cold against the hands of Kei.

"While I want my own, I refuse to take that from a murderer"

Watching him as he handled the situation she had to nod a little at his comment about the blade but there was also a practical side of it. "Yes but you should be practical about it. If you can feel the force it means other force users can find and feel you. They might want to fight, they might want to help but having a weapon that all of them use just in case is an important matter of life or death." She didn't need to keep the saber she had retrieved but she was looking at him and her eyebrows raised up before she almost vibrated from the excitement. "We survived." She was moving towards him and jumped to get him to catch her while clipping her saber to her hip.

He nodded, following slowly. He was starting to like his new friend, she was funny but smart, strong with her power but she knew where her limits where. They survived, and slowly the pain was starting to die off. He wrapped his fingers around the metal weapon in his hand again, the dark radiating from it. He cocked his hand, throwing the weapon into the rubble of the city quicker and harder than he'd ever thrown something before.

"I agree, practicality is the best course of action. Yet, truthfully, we survived. I'm about as happy as you seem to be. We didn't get killed, which is always a plus, I assume"

She nodded seeing him while standing there and straightening her outfit with a small smile. "Yeah we did, usually I am with several jedi in case there are mistakes we can cover each other. I was a little worried when you got shocked." she dind't know how really skilled they had been with the force but the sith they faced weren't masters... she doubted her shii-cho would have really lasted in the long run against them while moving forward with some of her attention on the city itself as everything fell quiet. She was now wondering if there was more of them just waiting for the two to step into some darkened corner to attack like in a scary holomovie now. "Hopefully this won't turn into some secret cannibal cult of sith or some slasher vid.... Though I am the hot one so I have a high chance of surviving."

He smiled slightly, the corners of his mouth flicking up. She was the hot one, that one was correct. She was amazing, her personality was a cherry on the top. He smiled, the gun at his hip rattling as they walked into the city. It was a ruin, everything had been blasted years before, but he couldn't feel anymore Sith. It appeared those two were stragglers, which either meant the Sith were on the planet, or the two Sith got lost.

Very lost.

"Well, you are the hot one, yes. You are clever, strong and hot, so you have a great chance of surviving. One day i'll learn the stuff you know, I just doubt it'll be anytime soon"

"Oh come on now, you will be able to learn it just got to find the right inspiration." She said it while walking and flipped her hair back. "Maybe later when I'll teach you but first and foremost exploring because who knows what might happen here. We got to be all ready and training others while in the field is not the easiest or wisest thing to do." Not that she was wise but walking she could make a small look opening the robe so it went with the small breeze behind her like she was walking into the wind. Oh yeah she looked cool with it while holding her hand out. "Come on smuggler, lets go and see some of the things here. never know what you might find looking around here."

He chuckled lightly. She was correct, he was a smuggler, and most people would see him as a criminal. His new friend, she was different. She didn't see him as a criminal, and in many a way he wasn't. Sure, he'd killed a few thugs and ran a few pounds of spice, but he wasn't a hard knock criminal. He smiled again, leading the way into the burned out ruin of a small "store". Half the roof was missing, but for the most part everything was intact.

He began looking around slowly for anything useful, anything that might aid him on his quests. He picked up a small sheet of metal, throwing it aside. It was calm, too peaceful for anything to have been happening. He was on alert, he didn't like the peace, it was all too quiet.

"It's too quiet, something's wrong"

She was listening to it, the sounds weren't there when he brought her attention to it while walking through the half burned out building. It got her attention for some of the things as she moved around looking for anything that might have survived the fire. She couldn't see much while looking up and letting her saber move to her hip where she could grab it quickly. "Yeah it is quiet but can't be jumping at shadows." She was all for some of the things but needed it to be healthy before she looked up at some of the other buildings before giving some of the attention to what they had. "Hmm though the quiet is a nice thing and being out here with the darkside pressing all around. Not good for us to be alone."

He sensed a trap, although he kept his thoughts to himself. Something was going on, something wasn't right, but he continued walking. He kept his fingers at his side however, close enough to his blaster that he could grab it the moment he needed to. He wished he had his own plasma weapon, and he knew that he'd build one one day. He would learn to fight like the Jedi, she was amazing, his new friend was great. She was the best thing to happen to him.

He shuddered, the force giving him a warning he chose to ignore. The Ebon Hawk was right in front of him, the force still applying pressure. Two lightsabers ignited behind him, Sith. However, neither Sith was wearing robes, which lead Kei to believe they were stragglers, not Sith here to capture Dromund-Kaas.

"Thought I felt a trap"

Looking at him for a moment when he spoke Noriko was worried for different reasons but then there was the sound of saber and she turned around crouching a little with her hand pulling her saber staff out. She was ready for a duel while movign with her attention to protect them as she spied the sith. "I recommend you leave now, there is no reason you should throw away your life." Attention on him while she kept some of her footwork to the side raising an eyebrow while she moved to the side twirling the saber in her hand.

The elder of the two Sith stepped forward slowly, shaking his head. It was clear from the start he wasn't trained, he was a straggler looking for fame, although the plasma weapon in his hand was easily a threat. Kei regretted throwing the other one away slightly, and he raised his blaster, keeping his fingers tight around the grip. The Sith began to speak, Kei keeping his grip on the blaster, listening to the words.

"I am nothing but honest, my dear lady. I am afraid, it is not me that will fall. Instead, myself and my brother here will make ourselves noticed to the One Sith Order, finally they will accept us. All we need is the head of a Jedi. I'm afraid the head of you will be good, your partner is an added bonus"

"Huh?"

And Kei shot first.

She was looking at him while keeping some of the looks from them. Her eyebrows raising up before Kei shot and then she moved. The snap hiss of the saber staff while she ducked down lower towards the ground and jumped up with speed to her attack. Stabbing with one side before she kicked out with the force and the energies were coming. With Kei shooting it should help handling the distraction while she came down spinning with the blade above her head and striking at them to throw them around the area. Perhaps they wanted her head and they might be able to get it but she was working on some of the things with her attention on keeping them distracted and on her while Kei got the shots to attack them.

It was T3 that saved them, the Ebon Hawk was in the prime location. While the two fought for there lives, T3 was remotely prepping the guns on the Ebon Hawk. It was T3 who fired the first shot, stunning everyone for a moment. It was T3 who fired the shots that wiped out the Sith. It was T3 who prepped the ship and it was T3 who got the Hawk the heck outta there the moment that Kei and his friend were onboard.

Thanks T3.

Kei smiled, patting his little droid on the head as he took his seat. It'd been a long day, and his jacket was ripped clean with a plasma wound. He needed a new jacket now, great. He'd only had the jacket he had for a week, he didn't want to go and have to buy a new one already.

"Can we go home now my friend?"

Noriko had been surprised while she was getting inside with a grin on her face that they had survived watching him. Taking the seat before while she looked at him and leaned down looking over his shoulder. "I suppose we can, though I am a jedi my home in the galaxy and wherever I need to go." It was with a smile as she went over a few of the things out the viewport while looking at the droid. "You wouldn't happen to have a good refresher I could use? All that fighting has me excited and need to clean the sweat off." She was looking at him and stripping the outer robes while bundling them with her saber staff and some of the equipment. Boots and socks before looking towards Kei.
