So I posted my Bio earlier and I have my first thread and away we go! But there are still a lot of questions, and roles I'm looking to fill for my character, and while these roles can get filled by NPCs for sure, I want to open up this stuff to PCs (which is way more interesting in my book!) and see if anyone bites. So I thought I'd post a thread here to gauge interest. Consider this a chit chat thread- anyone posting here this doesn't have to be hard commitment, especially if it's something you think may be something more of a faction may be interested in (one of these things is potentially a big job!).

You can check out the bio for the full story, but this is what I'm looking for:

PLOTTERS:

1) Home Planet- Her home planet was wiped out by a manufactured plague! Oh boy! I am happy to leave where this is vague or make something up because I don't want to wipe out a cannon planet that anyone cares about. However, if this fits in to cannon events that have already happened on the board, I am happy to dovetail in to previous threads if someone thinks they fit together as a potential origin story! Please let me know!

Alternatively-

2) Dastardly Doers- IC Irajah has no idea who did this. OOC *I* have no idea who did this. But this was definitely *done*. I would *love* it to be a IC person or group, but I also understand if it's not in the cards because it doesn't fit with anyone's narrative. If you want to volunteer your character/group, drop me a line! Sometimes, a Villain just needs something Villainous to do. I volunteer as tribute here. This Role has been filled!

3) Person in the opening narrative- I have no idea who this is. Maybe it's an NPC. Maybe it's a PC (Doesn't have to be male, and I will happily edit gender). If you want to volunteer your character- if they might have been involved in whomever set loose a virus on her homeworld- or someone who may have stumbled across the information another way or for another unrelated reason- plot with me! ​ This Role has been filled!

4) WHY!?!?- No idea. I'm expecting to create some cool narratives here and "discover" it myself as I'm writing. This does not mean that someone else needs to come up with the why this all happened. Just that it is not set in stone and very open to RP potential.

I'd like for this to be the beginning of a long term series of events for my character. Not just a one shot thread necessarily. Doesn't mean that anyone has to be tied to this story line, especially if it ends up not working out for you (my feelings will not be hurt if bowing out is needed, for any reason). And there are lots of other stories I'd like to explore with this character too. But I'd like to see what this has the potential to be, and where it leads her and if anyone on the board also has it pique their creativity.

There's a board canon disease that obliterated most of the galaxy called the Gulag Plague. It's been gone for a while now (Maybe twenty to sixty years, canon time? I dunno.), but it's known to have no cure and no species was immune to it. It wiped out entire planets and decimated some of the most populated areas in the universe. It also set in motion a technological dark age.

So that would be a way to get your plague on.

The original version of the story had it as a strain of the Hive Virus, but I'm really flexible on that detail.

I read through part of your bio and liked it. I do not know if this might be interesting to you or not, but my faction the Raxian Empire might be a good place for her to set roots at if you wish. We are a Mandalorian clan that has decided to take the responsibility of ruling into our own hands to act as the sword and shield of systems in need. The clan is about Family, Honor, Clan, which is our creed, and thats what we are about. We are about helping each other out and standing with each other no matter what. Offering our strength to cover for each other's weaknesses. With the way things went in her past it seems like she could use a place like that, but its entirely up to you.

If that sounds good to you we actually have our first thread up and going. You are welcome to come into it and take part in helping the oppressed people overthrow their tyrant ruler. It is pretty sandbox so you are welcome to start doing your own thing or jump into what others have started. Of course if you would rather not that is also fine.

[member="Gray Raxis"] Before anything else I was to say thank you for the invite and you are doing a really good job promoting your new faction!

I noticed both the new faction (amoung the loads of factions you folks have here, yikes!) and the RP even before you posted here and I will definitely keep an eye on it. My plan faction wise is to see where IC interactions lead her. Yours may well end up being a good fit for her! I'm not sure yet. But I will definitely look forward to interacting with you, one way or another, in upcoming threads here :)

Glad to hear on all accounts! If you feel like jumping into my faction threads feel free. You dont need to join up if you dont want to. It is open, and why I didn't say people need to pm to join. After all the more the merrier.

If you do call that nothing, well then I guess you could call that nothing.

Vengeance doesn't do bioweapon attacks. He is more hands on, watching the life sap from their eyes, and feel the their blood flow down/up his arm kind of person.

That and only the beautiful and equally deadly [member="Spencer Varanin"] could pull him out of retirement for more than a single thread.

[member="Thane"] That almost sounds like an invitation, which, from what I've seen so far and from what I know of your avatar leaves me with a vague sense of distrust but I'm in. :p

If your character actually follows your avatar- Hospital scene or bar scene? Both work for me.
