PRODUCTION INFORMATION
COMPONENTS
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • The Meili hyperdrive model features reinforced insulation that prevents the emission of Cronau radiation, increasing the stealth capabilities of the Meili and preventing any harmful radioactive material from leaking from the hyperdrive.
  • Microjump Capacitators allow for the Meili to make precise jumps throughout hyperspace and allow it to utilize a ship's navigational systems to their fullest extent. The Meili is able to accurately revert from hyperspace at precise points in realspace as well as perform microjumps. These capacitators also allow for a smoother and quicker transition in between hyperspace and realspace.
  • A RMR-S22X Hypermatter Annihilator Core allows for a more efficient consumption of hypermatter as well as an increased potential hyperspace speed that can be produced by the Meili.
  • The Meili can be built in a number of size and power configurations to match a ship's size and mass, as well as its overall design.
STRENGTHS
  • Fast, Efficient, and Versatile: The Meili is designed to be an overall versatile model of hyperdive in comparison to its competitors. It has a much higher base speed, and microjump capacitors allow for the Meili to make precise calculated jumps through hyperspace, including microjumps, as well as creating a smoother transition in between hyperspace and realspace. In addition to that, the Meili model can be configured to meet any requirement of a ship that wishes to install the hyperdrive.
  • No More Cronau: Reinforced anti-rad insulation prevents the emission of Cronau radiation, a substance that can both be deadly to organic crew after a long build up of radioactive material and can also be taken advantage of by advanced sensor systems to track a ship through hyperspace; however, the insulation of this substance prevents either and is thus a major strength of the Meili.
WEAKNESSES
  • Be Careful: The RMR-H11 Meili hyperdrive comes with many inherent risks, as any hyperdrive does. Use of the hyperdrive has the risk of collision with large gravitational objects, which can result in ship-destroying and likely fatal collisions. In another sense, if the core of the Meili is compromised, it could result in a full on reactor meltdown that could result in explosions and leaking of fatal radiation waves that would be lethal to any organic beings near the hyperdrive.
  • Maintenance: The amount of different components and parts to the Meili mean that it is an extremely complicated machine that is hard to perform maintenance on. Extensive repairs require long amounts of uninterrupted time with, preferably, the toolset and capabilities that a complete dockyard would have to offer. In most cases, if a Meili hyperdrive is damaged during a battle or in-space, the hyperdrive will not be able to be repaired unless the ship is docked at a shipyard.
DESCRIPTION
Roble Manufacturing's first ever hyperdrive model, the RMR-H11 Meili Hyperdrive seizes on many of the important and vital characteristics that have defined the recent generation of hyperdrives throughout the galaxy while improving on it in many key ways. Fast, efficient, and versatile, the Meili features a much higher base speed than the standard hyperdrive model and the ability to make precise calculated jumps through hyperspace, including the difficult micro jump maneuver. The Meili is also protected from the emission of Cronau radiation via insulating metals and layers, which prevent the harmful substance from building up over time as well as preventing sophisticated trackers from following the Cronau trail through hyperspace. However, perhaps the biggest constraint that users of the Meili face is that maintenance of the model is no easy feat; extensive repairs require long amounts of uninterrupted time, access to an ample range of tools, and preferably protective gear to protect a mechanic from any sort of radiation or any other sort of issue that may come from the Meili. However, when all things are considered, the Meili is a quite capable model of hyperdrive that will be a potent addition to any ship's designs.
