- The RMC-M6 is almost a completely self-contained design, with the only ship interface capabilities required being the controls for targeting and firing the weapon.
- The length, and to a certain extent size, of the RMC-M6 can be adjusted depending on the needs of the ship being built.
- Self-Contained: All of the necessary systems for the RMC-M6 are contained within the blaster module itself, meaning that theoretically all a manufacturer has to do is attach the firing inputs, and they will have a fully-functioning weapons systems. This makes repairs, replacements, and designs extraordinarily more efficient.
- Small and Adjustable: To make the weapon more flexible in terms of design constraints, the RMC-M6 can be refitted and reshaped depending on the side of the vehicle or ship it is being placed on.
- Lightweight: The RMC-M6 is a laser cannon, and thus it does not have much damage potential against heavily-shielded targets or capital ships. It should be fine against starfighters and terrestrial emplacements, however.
- Fixed Position: The RMC-M6 is a fixed-position cannon, meaning that it is not mounted on a mobile turret. This means that to maximize the potential of the RMC-M6, a ship or vehicle with the cannon installed must have reasonable speed and maneuverability to aim the weapon.
Roble Manufacturing's first standard laser cannon, the RMC-M6 is designed to fit the needs of the many vehicles and starfighters that are likely to be needed by both Roble Manufacturing and customers in the near future. While the RMC-M6 is in most respects a standard laser cannon, it does feature some enhancements in the fact that it is a self-contained design; all components of the cannon are built within the chassis, meaning that theoretically a spacer could just plug into the firing inputs and have a fully-working laser cannon. The RMC-M6 can also be slightly modified to fit a smaller/wider profile, depending on a manufacturer's requirements or restraints.
