- Integrates with any sort of weapons or tracking technology.
- A sybarium-crystal generator allows for greater energy efficiency in generating the required power to ionize the tibanna gas.
- SACG-23S shock-absorbent gel placed in the base and barrel of the cannon acts as a coolant for the weapon, allowing for greater sustained fire without the potential chance of internal damage. The shock-absorbent gel also reduces the recoil of the weapon.
- A coating of liquid aenite prevents the RMAC-M10 from being incapacitated by EMP or Ion technologies.
- Can be controlled remotely, increasing the convenience factor of where the weapon can be placed. In addition, the mass driver cannon can also interface with any type of targeting system.
- Toggles between automatic and manual fire modes, as well as be firelinked in multiple weapons groups.
- Can both be installed as a shipboard weapon as well as a defensive anti-fighter ground installment.
- Electronic Fryer: The ionized nation of the cannon means that the RMAC-M10 is especially effective against shields and electronic components.
- Stun not Kill: The RMAC-M10 is designed to disable shields and ships and is unable to deliver a 'killing' blow.
The RMAC-M10 Heavy Ion Cannon is Roble Manufacturing's first-ever iteration of ion cannon. Unlike their highly successful line of laser and turbolaser technology, the heavy ion cannon is designed to be a weapon that can degrade and disable a ship or a vehicle's defenses, and so to be used as a capital emplacement. The RMAC-M10 is highly effective against shields and electronic components, with its ion particles frying electronics and degrading shields at a higher rate than standard turbolaser technology. However, to have this greater effect against shields brings its drawbacks, as the RMAC-M10 is unable to do physical damage -- at the very least, direct physical damage -- against non-electronic components and similar technologies. Thus, ships disabled will still be left intact at the very least. However, combined with a ship's full suite of armaments, the RMAC-M10 is assured to be highly effective in any engagement.
