PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Rix has been described as most as being "devastatingly handsome", in stark contrast to his terrible personality. With blonde hair, blue eyes, and a completely unblemished face, Rix is considered to be quite conventionally attractive, though his demeanor and mannerisms tend to put off most people before he can create lasting relationships with them. Beyond that, Rix is relatively short, standing five feet seven inches tall, and is rather lean at about 150 pounds, though he is often somehow about to generate a presence far larger than himself.

INVENTORY

Rix possesses a variety of different equipment, including a heavily modified Stormtrooper Helmet, a Flare Jacket, a Mk 45 Protective Vest, a Bandolier, a Security Belt, Sap Gloves and Shock Boots, though Rix sometimes uses a Climbing Boot and Glove Set in lieu of those gloves and boots. Rix posseses many different weapons as well, though he most commonly uses a modified OK-98 Blaster Carbine, a Double Barreled Blaster Carbine, a DL-44 Outlaw and a Vibrocutlass during battle. Rix occasionally utilizes a Karpaki Fifty for long range engagements, though he does prefer close quarters combat, and he is in possession of a heavily modified StarSpeeder 3000 called "Death Tours".

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Rix can be something of a walking contradiction at times. One minute, he is the most charming and charismatic person in the universe, but the next, he is angry, aggressive and violent. Rix believes that the universe and everyone in it is out to get him, and that he needs to get them first before he gets hurt. To that end, Rix is willing to do anything that secures his own survival, and he doesn't particularly care who he hurts or what he destroys along the way. Rix will lie, cheat, steal and kill if he believes doing so will benefit him, and at the end of the day the only true loyalty that he has is too himself. No matter how attractive Rix may be on the surface, his inner ugliness tends to show itself pretty quickly regardless of the situation at hand. It is very likely that Rix is a Psychopath.

STRENGTHS

• Charming: When he wants to be, Rix is especially charming and charismatic, able to get people to do what he wants or to convince him of the way that he sees things
• Scrapper: Rix is an experienced and highly dangerous melee fighter, having gotten into dozens of scrapes over the years. He is exceptionally agile and difficult to pin down, and is not above fighting dirty if he thinks doing so will enable him to win
• Crackshot: In addition to his fighting prowness, Rix is also something of a sharpshooter, being quite skilled with blasters, slughthrowers and almost anything that can be classified as a ranged weapon
• Pilot: Rix is a skilled pilot, having stolen a number of starcraft over the years, and is quite comfortable piloting or driving a multitude of ground vehicles

WEAKNESSES

• Psycho: Rix's lack of emotional regulation makes him prone to violent outbursts and displays of hyper aggression, especially if he believes that he is being treated unfairly
• Misogynistic: Rix is under the mistaken impression that females are somehow inherently inferior to males. While this causes tension throughout his daily life, it makes working with others especially difficult, particularly when it comes to the Hapans
• Small: Lack of adequate nutrition has somewhat stunted Rix's growth, to the point that he is only around 5 feet 7 inches tall. This can make dealing with larger opponents more difficult for him
• Unarmored: Rix does not like wearing heavy armor, as it tends to overly encumber him, making him vulnerable to many forms of damage

HISTORY

Pirate. Scoundrel. Scumbag. All these words, and many worse ones, paint an accurate description of Rix Vondon.

Rix was born on the planet of Doan to an impoverished mining family, which promptly abandoned him as soon as they possibly could. Effectively orphaned and having no place to go, Rix was forced to live on the streets, where he soon developed a rather depressing mindset: the whole galaxy was out to get him, and he needed to get everyone in it first. Having no other recourse, Rix quickly turned to a life of crime, learning how to lie, cheat and steal at a young age, as well as getting into numerous fights during his adolescence.

As Rix got older, he caught the attention of the Pyke Syndicate, who saw value in him as a smuggler and an enforcer. Rix spend much of his life in the employment of the Pykes, learning how to fly a ship, shakedown those who were late in paying their debts and smuggle all sorts of contraband into neighboring star systems. All the while, Rix continued to become only more unhinged and violent as his standing with the Pykes increased.

Unfortunately for him, the Pykes would eventually be overthrown by the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, who promptly removed them all from power and replaced them with Imperials of their own. Enraged by his sudden loss of prestige and income, Rix ended up killing some patrolling Junk Troopers when out and about one night, causing him to become a wanted man. He stole a helmet off one of the men he had killed, gathered up as much equipment and credits as he could, and fled the system, making his way toward the Inner Core.

Now, Rix finds himself in the employment of the Hapes Consortium, where he works as both a pirate and a smuggler. For a misogynist like him, adapting to Hapan culture has been...difficult, to say the least, but the opportunity to make credits has for now enabled to overcome his culture shock. Whether or not he will be able to do so in the future remains to be seen, and Rix continues to spend his life looking over his shoulder for any signs of vengeful Imperials...
