- Retractable Bayonet: Just below the barrel of the Prickler is a small retractable bayonet, roughly the length of a combat knife. By default it faces downwards, allowing the blunt end of the blade to be grabbed and used as an underbarrel grip. In order to unfold the bayonet so it extends outwards parallel to the barrel, a small button behind the power cell must be pressed.
- Stabby Surprise: At point-blank range, the Prickler's retractable bayonet can be used as a deadly melee weapon.
- Close and Personal: The Prickler's small size and light weight make it a great weapon for close-quarters combat.

The Rim Dynamics Prickler is a short-ranged pistol equipped with a small bayonet for additional close-range attacks. One of the few Rim Dynamics weapons of any caliber designed for both civilian and military use, the Prickler is built with components easily obtainable from any mechanic or pawn shop.
Aside from its retractable bayonet, the Prickler features a semi-automatic firing mechanism and a large grip, minimizing recoil while maintaining a decent rate of fire.
