Survivalist: On more than one occasion things have turned sour for this intrepid adventurer. Therefore, studying different environs and adapting to them has became paramount for Rikard's survival.

Appearance
In many ways Rikard is fairly average for a Human male of his age. His unkempt appearance often leads him to be mistook for a beggar in more prestigious parts of certain cities. His hair long and uncombed and beard usually untrimmed. His clothes are typically not much better. Preferring to dress for practicality rather than vanity. Rikard will often find himself in a state of fit, coughing harshly for several minutes until he catches his breath again. The product of an old wound.
Personality
Rikard often appears to be aloof when in the presence of others. His standoffish ways are interpreted as a lack of concern or caring. This is, of course, a mistake. In actuality Rikard is a fairly warm soul, welcoming to most he encounters on his travels. His introspective side only becoming dominant when in study or deep in thought. In this respect one could say Rikard's love for knowledge outweighs that for people. Nevertheless, many souls on many planets call the scholar a friend.
