SPECIAL FEATURES

N/A

Strengths:
  • Deadly: The poison has a decent enough mortality rate, all things considered.
  • Debilitating: Unlike many poisons, Douin 4 leave the victim unable to control their own body, as muscles start to contract and spasm at random.

Weaknesses:
  • Slow: It is by no means a quick killer or a quiet one. It’s a show of force.
  • One method: Less reliable as a poison, as you have to manage an injection for it to work.

DESCRIPTION
Something can be gained from any failure. In their attempts to create a stimulant, Vitae Industries created a brutal and terrifying poison. Death by muscle spasms is a fate few would ever want, and there’s something to be said about the man who would do such a thing to their fellow beings. It’s cruel, inefficient, and terrifying. Spasms begin to take over in the area where the poison enters the body, before spreading away from there, causing intense, debilitating pain, and when it reaches the chest, can cause the heart to stop pumping and the diaphragm to stop drawing in breaths constantly. Soon after, the victim will die of asphyxiation, their body no longer able to supply itself with oxygen.

There is still hope, however. There may be time to get a muscle relaxant into their system, allowing the spasming muscles to calm down and save their life. However, it’s recommended to do this before the drug reaches the heart, as once the heart’s stopped, there’s not much that could be done. As for how long that would take, from first entering the system to stopping the heart seems to be about ten minutes in the average adult male human. Time could vary depending on the victim's health, species, and physical condition.
